The tech gave a thorough explanation of how the appointment would go, which would be great to ease the anxiety of nervous parents. Insurance was billed for the consult AND paid them, but I have yet to be contacted about receiving a credit because supposedly they have been waiting on the procedure claim to come back (which has yet to be sent to them). Meanwhile, I have emailed them TWICE with no response. Front staff is also incompetent. We rescheduled an appointment but apparently the appointment was never made. They didn't give me paperwork TWICE as we checked in so we then had to wait longer to finish it when it could have been done 20 minutes prior. Although Dr. Cotton was extremely nice and her assistant was so sweet, would still not recommend, especially because my son's lip tie was not fully released. Would give ZERO stars for the lack of ethics if I could and the fact that my son's lip tie was not completely released.

I had to have a tooth pulled. If I had to describe my experience id say traumatic. I am 17 yrs old terrified of dentists because of the trauma this place gave me as a kid. They gave me anesthetics but due to the harshness of the meds it made me throw up. I understand you can't give a child more because you don't know how much was left in their system however numbing shots can be used multiple times. I went through a procedure that gave me long term trauma no kid should experience. Let me lay it out. After the anesthetics made me sick they took me in a back room. No windows and my parents couldn't be with me. As a kid I was afraid and alone I also have horrible anxiety so I was off the roof anxious. The procedure started and I felt pain. No normal pain excruciating pain, I was in tears and the doctor showed no empathy he told me to stop crying. Who the hell says that to a kid? When we got home I was super upset. Till this day my parents apologize for what this place put me through. Still hooked on the fact a parent wasn't allowed to be there and he told me to stop crying. I went through this tooth pulled with no meds, I felt EVERYTHING. I wish we would've sued. Unfortunately now it's too late but when we had the chance we should've taken it. Please don't take your kids here they are made of all money. If you want a good dentist go to ABC Dentistry for Children in Gilbert. They are amazing and when you get procedures done it's comfy and welcoming. I went to ABC after this place and got more than enough numbing and a warm blanket. There was a window for my mom to watch and make sure I was okay. During a fill my mom was allowed to hold my hand while I was being numbed and then the doctor took over and let me squeeze her hand. They are loving and sweet and financially able to take care of you properly. Save your kids some trauma.

Initial appointment time was 12 noon for my 4 year old. They called the day before and changed it to 11:30am. Then we get a call the morning of the appointment saying we need to be there at 10:30am. We arrive at 10:30am and then wait until 1pm... our 4 year old hadn't eaten since 6pm the night before. He was crying and saying his stomach hurt. He wasn't allowed to eat breakfast because his appointment was moved to 11:30am and he needed to have at least a 6 hour window with no food. If we had kept his original appointment of 12noon, then he could have eaten breakfast, but they moved up his appointment so he wasn't allowed to eat. During the 2 and a half hour wait we had to walk around the office in search of someone to give us an update. Not once did anyone come to us with any kind of an update. That's pathetic. I have no idea how anyone would give this place a 5 star. Worst service ever. They handled this situation as if they've never handled or dealt with children at all. How could any children's dentist expect a 4 year old to 1, wait in an office for over 2 hours. 2, how could they have nobody come out to do the polite thing and update us. 3, do all this while knowing the 4 year old hadn't eaten anything since the night before at 6pm. My advice to anyone looking to have work done here... DONT!... Run the opposite direction to a different dental office for kids. They have no idea what they're doing here. This is a testament to how loving and kind Dr Brown and ALL the staff are. They make my daughter feel heard and noticed. She completed a crown and stayed completely still the whole time while Dr Brown cleaned up her teeth. She did not need sedation because she trusted Dr Brown and his staff. I couldn't believe how much has changed since choosing Kidtastic. I'm proud of my daughter and also so glad we came here for the second opinion. This was also our third visit to this office, so it was especially disappointing that something as basic as insurance verification wasn't handled properly before our appointment. Having two children's appointments canceled after taking the time to get them there was incredibly frustrating. I expected much better communication and customer service from a pediatric dental office. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I can't recommend this practice.
