Who likes going to the dentist? No one. But this staff and Dr take the anxiety out of sitting in the chair. I hadn't been to the dentists in.... well, a minute... there was no judgement, and in fact my teeth were in good health except for a couple of minor needs. The staff was so friendly, took their time, & personable. And the Dr himself was great! Broke it down for me what I needed, what his suggestions were, and different approaches we could take to solve for a few items. Be your own strongest advocate when it comes to your health. I don't typically leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience in case it helps someone else. I have seen a dentist regularly my entire life and have only ever had one cavity. After moving to Gilbert, I chose this office based on its strong Yelp reviews. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable during my visit. However, the diagnosis I received was extremely concerning. I was told that 16 of my teeth needed to be drilled and filled, and an appointment was scheduled the following week to begin treatment. I left feeling scared, confused, and uneasy. After discussing this with family members and trusting my instincts, I canceled the appointments. I then sought two additional professional opinions. Both dentists confirmed that my teeth are in great condition and that no fillings are currently needed. There is only one small area to monitor that may require treatment in the future. I strongly encourage others to seek second opinions when faced with aggressive or extreme diagnoses by this dentist. Once a tooth is drilled, the process cannot be reversed. I am very grateful that I trusted my instincts and my family before proceeding with unnecessary treatment. read more

The doctor was great, but the lady in the front desk was so rude. She really needs to get a hold of herself and work on whatever is messing her attitude. All I did was call because we were running behind and I wanted to know if we would still be seen. She immediately hit us with a $50 fee and said we can't show up anymore. Even if it was nine minutes late and I understand their attendance policy that is exactly why I called to see if there was any way that we could still be seen. Never going there, they lost my business and my family's business. I feel bad for the doctor because he was great but if he has staff like this representing him, then obviously this speaks volume for their company. In response to theirs: I completely understand the attendance policy and that is why we called. I understand the fee, the timing slots. But what I don't understand was the rudeness of Stephanie. The way she spoke to me, the way she spoke over me and the way she was overall about the situation. That was really uncalled for and yes, other dental places have the same Policy, I'm not sure why that comment was implemented. Overall, like you said, life happens and this was not planned, but I really do hope Copper dental finds a new face to their company because Stephanie is just plain ugly inside. Having moved from out of state, I was in need of a new dentist. Looking at the positive reviews on Google and here on Yelp told me Copper Canyon was an option. From the moment I hung up the phone from speaking to Tannya, to todays appointment, I can see why the reviews are so high. Tannya greeted me with a smile as I saw her do to everyone who walked in. Thea explained everything to ensure I knew exactly what was happening with xrays and pictures. Diana, assessed my situation and reviewed the xrays, explained trouble spots and how to improve my self care. Then Dr. Lepetich did a deeper review and explanation of x-rays and next steps, including that not everything needed to be done and some things could wait. I didn't feel like the practice was upselling, but had my best interest in mind. CCD has become our new family dentist. read more

Copper Canyon Dental is 5/5 's. I hadn't been to the dentist in over 10 years, so the dental anxiety and fear were real. I requested an appointment via their website and the following morning I received a call to schedule my first appointment. From the moment I first stepped foot inside Copper Canyon Dental, some of my fears and anxieties about the dentist began to melt away. Tannya is the perfect person for any patient to have their first interactions with; she is the friendliest, most warm and welcoming individual - she definitely sets the tone for the entire office. The calm, warm and welcoming vibes continued as Diana brought me back from the lobby. Prior to getting situated in the room, she walked me through the entire office, introducing me to other members of the team and showing me where everything was. Diana could see how anxious and scared I immediately was as I sat in the dental chair. Diana took her time to reassure me that what I was feeling was okay and that no one in the office is there to judge me. Diana fully explain what the initial appointment would look like: x-rays, pictures of my teeth and an overall diagnostic assessment with Dr. Lepetich; she talked me through step by step of what she was doing , answered all my questions as we made our way through the x-ray process and never once, was I made to feel dumb about the questions I was asking (my anxiety told me I was dumb for asking). I expressed to both Diana and Dr. Lepetich how embarrassed I felt for not having been to the dentist in over a decade and was honestly expecting the worst with my overall dental health; however, both continued to reassure me that I was in good hands. Dr. Lepetich explained what my next appointment would look like and the treatment plan needed; both Diana and Dr. Lepetich explained what my options were to ease/treat my dental anxiety as the next appointments would be more invasive due to cavities and gum inflammation. Rounding out the first visit, I had to pleasure of interacting with Julie during the check out process; Julie was also warm and welcoming. As we were setting out my next procedure appointments, Julie printed out an itemized overview of what I should expect regarding costs of the procedures according to my dental insurance. Julie explained how my insurance covers specific treatments/procedures and why/how I would be responsible for out of pocket costs. I did not know much about my dental insurance/coverage, it is just something I elected for during open enrollment at work. Julie was super knowledge about Delta Dental and happily answered all of my questions (that I maybe should have already known). Overall- I recommend Copper Canyon to anyone and everyone. It pains me to write this, but the new receptionist or office manager at Copper Dental needs to go! She is on a power trip, rude, and completely unprofessional. A few months ago, when I came in, she informed me I had a bill, which was fine. However, she proceeded to badmouth the previous receptionist, claiming she was brought in to "clean house" and handle all billing issues she created for the company. This feedback was utterly unwarranted, self-serving, and highly unprofessional. Today, I brought my son (a minor) for his cleaning appointment, which my spouse had scheduled for 12 PM. Upon arrival, the receptionist abruptly stated, "I don't have an appointment for your son today; it's for your spouse." I informed her it should be for my son. Instead of acknowledging a possible mix-up and accommodating us, she argued with me in front of other patients and my hygienist, which was embarrassing. She never offered to just see him and I had to suggest that as an option. The hygienist was kind and immediately obliged, however, she sat annoyed. I later received a text from my spouse with proof that the appointment was indeed for my son, as the text message from Copper Dentals appt confirmation included his name. When I showed this to the receptionist as a helpful reference, she remained dismissive, stating, "Well my computer says your spouse's name, so his appt wasn't for today." I asked her how could a message sent from her system say one name in her computer and randomly transpose my sons name via text to us...She was matter-of-fact and unwilling to meet halfway. Caught totally off guard by her reaction, I asked, "Well, are we good then?" She responded by saying I was being rude and she didn't appreciate it. I was appalled. I am the client, and she was the one who was rude to me in front of my child and other patients. However, I am the rude one? Her behavior was insane. As a VP in leadership, I can assure you that bad service will ruin your business. This receptionist does not reflect the Copper Dental standard of excellence. I must say, the dentist and all the staff up to this point have been nothing but kind, personable, and professional. I have been coming here for three years. I purchased my home in Queen Creek and still chose to drive 30 mins to come here because of the friendly and family-like atmosphere. I pass tons of offices on my way and can easily have switched my dentist a year ago. I am sad to say that today will be my family's last day attending this dental practice. This receptionist is trouble and will run your business into the ground with her antics. She needs serious training and an attitude adjustment. I've been coming to Copper Canyon Dental for five years. They are THE best! Shannon, my hygienist, is a real pro. She is soooo nice and super effective in cleaning my teeth. She's very skilled in using the tools and does an amazing job deep cleaning my teeth yet in a painfree way. Dr. Lepetitch is also excellent. He answers all of my questions and gives me really good advice on caring for my teeth. He does not recommend unnecessary procedures and he did an abfraction repair for me a couple of years ago which has held up perfectly. All of the front office staff are friendly, they know your name when you show up, and they do a great job processing stuff through my insurance without issues. My whole family has been coming to Copper Canyon Dental for 5 yrs and they've served my family exceptionally well. I highly recommend them. This dentist office is incredible! Their hygenist is one of the best I've ever had. Professional and exceptional care rendered. I came in for a second opinion after being quoted almost $4,000 worth of work at a different office (including two crowns). Dr. Lepotich and his staff gave me a very thorough evaluation and effective treatment plan options. This will save me from unnecessary dental work, trauma, and cost. Dr. Lepotich showed me my dental images and explain to me in terms that I can understand exactly what is going on with my teeth. I am confident that I received a competent and honest evaluation. Well not only did I have to go back more then once to have teeth re worked. I had to pay for the revisits of this dentists mistakes after getting fillings done. Just another dentist out to get as much money out of you as possible. Also what an awful customer service experience. I book an appointment take a day off of work but because I was in Sedona without cell service and didn't confirm my appointment they cancelled it for me and told me they were going to charge me for the cancellation although I never cancelled and would have been at my appointment on time. We recently moved to AZ and I've been on the hunt via Yelp to find a family dentist. I found the right place and both my girls have already had their first cleaning. The girls upfront are super friendly and we were greeted right away. Filled out some paperwork and cleaning began. They have individual tv's for the children to watch off of Netflix. After their checkup they were given tokens to get toys out of the dispenser. The doctor and staff were all great with my girls. If you don't have insurance they offer plans right through the office which will save you money. My oldest daughter needs some extra work done and scheduling was done right away. I also scheduled their follow ups. The office was clean and they have refreshments as you walk in (my girls took advantage of that). read more

I'll start with the positives first. The staff was friendly and the office was clean, modern, and high tech. Now for the big problem... They seem to say you need unnecessary work done to make money. I went in for a routine teeth cleaning and they stated I needed scaling and root planing and a cavity filled for the tune of about $500 above and beyond the insurance. Keep in mind I'm 44 and have never had a cavity. I seriously thought about getting a second opinion, but talked myself out of it. In hindsight, I wish I had gone somewhere else. My daughter went in for her routine teeth cleaning a month later and they told her she had 13 cavities that needed filled! You read that right, 13!! She had just been to a different dentist 6 months prior and had no cavities or fillings. So we learned our lesson and took my daughter somewhere else. Guess what, no cavities! We won't be returning. read more
