My kiddo has been going to Bloom for about four years - initially under Dr Lee. Let me tell you- I've never met anyone, especially a child, who wants to go to the dentist! I mean she literally asks me when is her next appointment and anytime we are in the area she'll point out and proudly say this place is her dentisit. I will admit when Dr Lee said she was leaving I was devastated and worried who will replace her. I initially met Dr Mindi, who replaced Dr Lee, at a event at my kids school. I was impressed that the doctor was there because normally at these events I expect to see other representatives of the business not the doctor. I think this speaks volumes. She was immediately really kind and welcoming which made me feel much better about our upcoming visit. The next visit felt just like it normally would even when Dr Lee was there. All the office staff, assistants, etc were welcoming and kind- didnt miss a beat. I never felt any red flag. It felt like my kid is in good hands. Dr Mindi gives me the feeling that she is still concerned of my child's care and will answer any questions I would have. I had no issues at all. With that being said, the many recent negative reviews I've seen is absolutely not what I experienced and quiet surprising for me to read. I genuinely question what exactly happened. Please read before scheduling with bloom pediatric dentistry. All but one of the positive reviews were for when Dr Lee was here who is/was truly amazing. I was already hesitant when I saw Dr Lee would no longer be with Bloom Pediatric dentistry but figured I would give it a shot. Dr Mindi is not like minded at all and is absolutely rude, condescending, and lied. She told me at seven years of age it is legally required that x rays be taken for dental work by the AAPD... she also went on to say that if anybody else takes us on as a patient and doesn't require non medically necessary x rays then they are not ethical. This is completely despicable as this is not a legal requirement but a mere recommendation by the AAPD. Vile behavior. Like another poster noted, I'm sad that I witnessed a change in the staff also. While the staff, other than Dr Mindi were all very pleasant, it is a very different environment than when Dr Lee ran the place. We are SO happy to have found Bloom. Dr. Mindi and her team are compassionate and honest. After going to way too many dishonest pediatric dentists, we feel like we are finally in the best spot! Our very fearful and nervous son recently had dental work done and we could not have been happier with how things were handled. The best thing about this office is the extra time and care they take to talk to families. We also love that there are options here. Dr Mindi doesn't push anything. She gives you the information and allows you to make a choice based on what's best for your family with no judgement. If you have questions, she is there to answer them. You can tell Dr. Mindi truly loves her job and wants what is best for your child. She isn't going to do unnecessary work like so many pediatric dentists. Her office is fun and super child friendly. It's definitely not the same since Dr. Lee left. Dr. Lee was phenomenal--kind, caring, and truly attentive to our concerns. Unfortunately, our experience with the new doctor, Dr. Mindi, was very disappointing. She came across as rude and condescending, and even spoke negatively about Dr. Lee. In addition, she doesn't appear to share Dr. Lee's airway-focused approach, which was one of the main reasons we loved Bloom. I also noticed a change in the atmosphere among the staff--they seemed unhappy, as if the work environment had shifted. Needless to say, we've decided to find a new pediatric dentist. I even called the orthodontist who originally referred us to Dr. Lee to ask if they knew of anyone similar to her, and it turns out we're not the only ones looking for a new referral. They mentioned that several families have shared similar feedback about the new doctor at Bloom. read more

Very friendly staff and Dr. Lee was incredibly approachable and a natural at her work. The staff are so good at communicating and telling the children what they are doing. It's so hard to find an honest dentist. You would assume people who are taking care of kids teeth wouldn't lie. This dentist told me my 6 year old daughter has 3 cavities. I had a weird feeling about it considering she has new kid teeth and we take care of them. I got a second opinion from my dentist (who is honest) and he said she only had stains in her teeth, not cavities. This Bloom office tried changing us thousands. Not to mention the front desk lady is super rude and likes to be the mask police. Do yourself a favor and don't take your kids here Only did one star cuz I couldn't leave none. read more

Best dentist for children! They remember small details about the child from their last visit, ask them lots of questions to make them feel comfortable and are very patient. Dr. Lee is absolutely amazing!, if I could give her and the bloom office 10 stars I would. She goes out of her way to make kids feel comfortable, you would think all pediatric dentists are like this but it's not true-she just has such an amazing way about her. My daughter has seen 6 ped dentists in AZ and Dr. Lee is the only one she will go to. She is always up to date with new products and procedures and new studies out there. She has so many flavors and scents which really help get the kids to feel like they are in charge of their care. She does all of the little things that make such a difference. Every single person in this office is incredible! Always smiling and seem genuinely happy to see you and make your experience great. I have a 7-year old and we have been coming to Bloom for a couple of years. Dr. Lee is awesome! She has an amazing bedside manner and always asks personalized questions and she remembers what my daughter had told her on her last visit and will bring that up in conversation. Her and her staff make getting a kiddo a dental cleaning effortless. The staff is always extremely kind. They follow all COVID-19 guidelines and protocols and we always feel very safe going. After reading all the positive reviews and finding that Bloom Dentistry was in network I decided to give this place a try. I'm glad that I did because they were so great with my son. They checked our temperature at the door before letting us in. The place was very clean and bright. The staff from start to finish were all so friendly and welcoming. They made sure my son was comfortable during his visit & answered all my questions. They had tv screens that the kids could watch movies while getting their teeth cleaned which helped my son. We chose to have our 5 year old son put to sleep under general anesthesia for his treatment. He had seven tooth extractions, three crowns and three spacers. His dad and I we're very concerned about the extensive work needed. The office staff and both Dr. Janelle Lee and Dr. Matthew Wall were amazing with their communication and explanation of the treatment for the many questions and concerns we had. And we had many. Their professionalism and patience was above and beyond, you could feel the genuine kindness. My son loved his experience and his post operative recovery couldn't have been better. First time visit at about 1 year old. Dr. Lee is very knowledgeable and personable. Multiple staff members assisted in the visit (a cleaning and information session for parents). Dental area is quite large and open. You can tell that staff and Dr. Lee care about what they do and take pride in doing it well. My girls were not sure what to expect from going to the dentist, but the second they entered the front door they loved every part. My two year old wanted to brush her teeth more because of the toothpaste and my oldest couldn't wait to see pictures of her teeth. This is such an amazing office and staff, they all love what they do they are so patient and kind. Of course my daughter is at the age (3) where she is very independent and wants to do everything on her own. Dr Lee took her time to get the tiger lol show her all the steps that she would be doing during the visit to get her comfortable with her cleaning. My family just moved to Chandler and I had anxiety about finding a dentist for my 5 yr old son as he has been going to my family dentist where we previously lived. I found Dr. Lee through our insurance provider and choose to set up my son's initial appointment based on online reviews. This was the best decision! The staff was amazing! Very friendly and engaging. We arrived 15 mins early for our initial and follow up appointments and only waited about 3 minutes before getting called to the exam area. Also, the staff was very competent when engaging with my very curious and talkative son especially when providing his treatment during his follow up appointment. We visited Bloom for my two-year-old's very first dentist visit. We were warmly greeted by the gal at the front desk with a smile, and she figured everything out with our insurance so quickly! The dental assistant was great and gave us a tour of the office and exam rooms, making sure to answer any questions we had. Even before our son's exam, the Dr. took the time to come and educate us on how to best care for his teeth. (We loved this!) In the exam room they have two chairs for the kiddos, with TVs above the chairs for the child to enjoy during their exam. Before shining the light to exam our child's mouth, Dr. Lee got out some cool sunglasses for him to wear and made sure he was comfortable with everything that was going on. We had a great experience and believe that our son had a great time too! read more

We were absolutely blown away by the hospitality of this office. They completely saved us. We drove 2 hours to Phoenix to have a tongue and lip tie procedure done on our newborn at another office. When we arrived they had cancelled our appointment without telling us and this was an appointment that was needed immediately as our newborn was not gaining weight properly. We were extremely upset at the other place and weren't sure what to do. We started calling around Phoenix since we don't have very many people in our town that can do this procedure and nobody could get us in as we expected. Then we found bloom and immediately the service on the phone was wonderful and empathetic towards our situation. They talked to the doctor and squeezed us in very last minute and we hardly even had to wait. The dentist and entire staff were so kind to us and turned our bad day around. The procedure was quick and they thoroughly explained everything so well. I really wish we lived closer and could bring our babies here for all of their dental care. I am a FAN! I took my 1.5 yr old son in for his first cleaning appointment today. The front desk staff was helpful, SO friendly, professional and welcoming (which I had a hunch they would be from how great they were when I called to schedule the appt). I was immediately impressed seeing how clean, bright and kid-friendly everything was- the giant "Lightbright wall" is genius (my son loved playing with the pegs during our very short wait). The dental hygienist gave us a tour, explained what we could expect during our visit, and asked what questions or concerns I had to make sure she noted them. Dr. Lee is fabulous! She gave us some great, practical tips for brushing our little guy's teeth, and managed to brush, floss, scrape a bit of plaque and provide a polish treatment on him in under 5 minutes.
