The fact the ladies were nice up front is why I'm giving them some stars. But we just had two different opinions on our almost 4 year olds teeth. They wanted almost 1700 worth of work including the syrup to sedate our son to fill 3 "cavities". They instantly wanted a down payment for this work to be done and my husband told them that he needed to go over it with me prior to agreeing. So we made an appt at dentists of gilbert crossroads and it was a night and day difference as far as opinions go. Mind you we never were asked to get X-rays the first day at this location so all they did was clean our sons teeth. Gilbert crossroads did an X-ray and they all have separate rooms so you aren't sitting next to a bunch of kids is what my husband said. He said it was very odd the way the set up is between the two he didn't care for the huge bay of 7-8 kids sitting so close to one another. So second opinion today at the other office we selected only wanted 65 dollars to disc between his two front teeth, X-rays, and noticed the cavities he did have were so small it didn't make sense to fill it when they are just going to fall out. The back "cavity" we were told at this office didn't even show up on the X-ray at the second office on his images. Why tell someone they have a cavity if you don't have concrete proof in an image?? Seriously. Thanks for making parents worry/panic. Glad we didn't come here after all and won't be recommending to others. read more

We have been using ABC Dentistry for both of my kids for years. The doctors are great but the billing staff needs some work. We had an appointment for wisdom teeth extraction and could not get a straight answer for what the out of pocket expense would be after insurance. After numerous calls and messages I was finally able to speak with the billing manager. She made us feel like we were bothering her and we explained that we left several messages over a 3 week period of time. We agreed on the amount and 3 months after the procedure received a bill for an additional $300. read more

The front desk is terrible as stated in another review. They do not give you correct billing info. I've been over charged by $500 and then waited forever for my refund. This is the second time I have given them a chance and I was reminded as to why I left in the first place. Do yourselves a favor and take your children somewhere else. I was also told that all 4 of my children had cavities in 1 tooth and when I got a second opinion no one had any cavities. These guys are scammers. Like a used mechanic shop. read more

We just finished up a round of dental work for our two boys, 5 and 2. The professionals at ABC Dentistry had the tools and experience to keep my children happy and comfortable, despite the drillings and fillings needed. On our last visit they helped us get a second opinion from another Orthodontist regarding a procedure for our daughter. My 22 month old had her first appointment today. We weren't too sure what to expect but any anxiety we had quickly faded. The front desk staff was pleasant and attentive and there were plenty of things that caught my daughter's eye while we waited for her name to be called. When it was her turn, the assistant was sweet and described what would happen. While we waited for the dentist she made sure my daughter had a toy to keep her entertained. The dentist finished up with another patient and headed our way. He was very gentle with my daughter, talked in a calm voice, and did a thorough exam in record time. My daughter ended the ordeal by picking out two toys and a sticker - that made her day! We are so happy with our first experience and look forward to continuing our daughter's dental care with this clinic. read more

It was my daughter's first time having a cavity filled. I remember the experience being pretty unpleasant as a kid. The people here were fantastic (Braden and Wendy!) and the process was clearly designed with young kids in mind. For instance, every instrument in the process has an imaginative name (e.g., "water whistle" for the drill, etc.), someone sat with my daughter and chatted away with her about school, the holidays, etc. while we waited for her mouth to numb, and the dentist talked her through every little thing they would do. They let her know how to express if she was feeling any discomfort or pain during the process and took her responses seriously. Really fabulous folx, and when my daughter left, she even described it as fun. (!!!) read more

I took both of my kids here for their cleanings today and was very happy with the visit. The staff is friendly and the visit was pleasant and fast. My kids favorite dentist is Dr. Santiago who makes the visit fun and seems to enjoy talking with the kids. read more

Dentists and staff are amazing with the children. Absolutely love that. However, my ex-husband took our daughter in and there was a remaining bill of 29 bucks. I thought ex paid it, and he thought I paid it. Then I got a late notice where the assessed a late charge of $20 with no warning on the invoice there would be a late fee assessed. There is no notice on this statement either that a late fee will be assessed. It has a due date of 1/28/16. I called to pay on phone on 2/10/16, and they charged another $20 late fee, so a bill for $29 now cost $69 with no warning on the invoice. Oversight on our part to pay the bill in a timely fashion or figure out who was paying it, but shame on them for not including a blurb on their invoice that a late fee will be assessed. read more

Absolutely loved this place! They do such a great job at making the dentist a FUN place and everyone there were SO good with my kids, ages 2 & 4. Some of the dental assistants even helped me entertain my 2 year old who is a HANDFUL while I tended to my son who was getting his cleaning. I visited another place and then this one for a second opinion on a lot of dental work that I need done for my son. I don't have insurance and their prices were better and they were willing to work with me. The staff was friendly and really seemed to care about the children. From the moment I showed up, there were warm vibes all around. The front office staff was super friendly and easy to work with. They try to go above and beyond to meet your needs with scheduling. One time we had an emergency appointment for my 1 year old, who at that time knocked out his front tooth. It took us less then a day to get in to see them when we got back into town. It took them less than 45min to call me back when I originally called about the issue when we were out of town. The on call dr walked me through everything over the phone so I had some peace of mind and could continue our vacation. The office is very clean and modern and has great distractions for the kids. The dentists have been super friendly, patient and very willing to explain all that they need to do, see and except. My kids are not afraid of the dentist and for that I am thankful! I am very happy with this office and will gladly drive the extra miles to go there! read more

I have been taking my 8 children to ABC Dentistry for almost 25 years! Now, most of my children are married, with children of their own, and now they take their children to Dr. Michaud and his practice. It has always been a wonderful experience for our family! I found myself a single mother years ago, and the kindness that was shown to me at that time, by Dr. Michaud and his staff, I will never forget! After I married and moved to the west side of the valley, I continued taking my children, a 45 minute drive back to the east valley, because of the way we were treated by everyone at ABC Dentistry!They would schedule all 8 of my children at the same time, and their were several times when everyone of their chairs in the back, were filled with my children! What a site! Dr. Michaud would do the Tarzan yell with my kids to see who did it the best, he always shows love and concern for my family's dental needs, and beyond that. I would highly recommend this practice to everyone! It is the best around!! (I know, because I looked for something closer to us after we moved, and there just any thing that compares!) My son went to pre-school and it was far away from ABC dentistry, so I picked another dental office which is in the same plaza of his school is, and I have to say I should never change my son's dental office to another! The one nearby my son's pre-school, it's a fancy and high-tech facility, but the dentists freaked him out twice, because how rough he is on a toddler. I am not sure if the dentists has kids, he stated that my son is not cooperating his check and my son is not opening his mouth, eventually he diagnosed that my son has two cavities on his bottom left also he has tongue-tight. He will have to put him to full sleep to do the cleaning, filling, sealing, crown, and cut his tongue-tight. I was so depressed for that entire day! You know a bruise on a child hand, a cut on a parents heart. So I googled what is tongue-tight and when does a kid needs surgery. It says if your kid has hard time sleep and eat, can't pronounce S or H clear, can't stick the tongue pass the bottom lip and leak the top lip, you should bring them for a tongue-tight cut, which my son doesn't fit into any of those case. I trusted my gut and decided not to schedule the appt, then here's the rest of the story! We came back and heard totally different story from Dr Richard, I'm so grateful and thankful for ABC family owns dentistry, they understand parents struggle and they show sympathy to your kids and provide you options that fits your child age and case! Used to take my daughter here but they are no longer contracted with my insurance and failed to inform me of that before performing treatment so even with insurance I got a pretty big bill for a cleaning considering my insurance did pay most of the cost. Really liked the hygienist and the doctors. The kids are all in one big room with multiple chairs, which I really didn't like since there was no privacy but we usually went early morning so it wasn't really a bid deal. read more

I absolutely LOVE ABC Dentistry! I was looking for the best kid friendly dentist to do some work on my daughter's teeth because she was very nervous. I did some research online and found that ABC got really good reviews so I gave them a try. They were so great with her. They made her laugh, let her play with toys while in the chair and really put her at ease. She loves going to dentist now and always comments on how nice the dentists are! I would recommend this place to anyone especially if you have a very nervous child. Staff is always kind and they always get her in and out. Great place. read more

This was by far the best experience we have ever had at a dental office. Not only was scheduling a piece of cake but the front office staff was smiling and pleasant. This morning I took my daughter (1 1/2) to her check up for the second time at ABC Dentistry and she had so much fun with Dr. Harsha. He was so super friendly to her and was so engaging and I love that. The staff is amazing and so welcoming and sweet. I love that they have a great waiting area for kids (my daughter loved the fish tank) and when I took her back for her check up, there were toys for her to play with while we talked to the doctor. I really can't say enough great things about ABC Dentistry and their doctors and staff and look forward to taking my daughter there each time. My only negative would be the signage off the of the street says, Pediatric Dentistry, and I seem to miss the location each time. This might just be me being spacey, but it would be better for the sign to say, ABC Dentistry and then Pediatric Dentistry. Because I don't like leaving a review on a negative, at the end of each visit, they let the kiddos pick some toys from a toy area to take home and if your kiddo has zero cavities at their visit, ABC Dentistry gives them a card for a creamy treat which I think is pretty neat. read more

My 4-year-olds love going to the dentist! The office is friendly and clean, with ipads for the kids to play on while waiting. All the dentists are excellent, keeping things light and fun for the kids, and not pushing them to do anything they don't feel comfortable with. They examined my sons (then 2 years old) on my lap the first few times. They are very responsive to emergencies, and one of them even came in on Halloween night to see my son! My boys are all about the superhero toothbrushes and goodie bags, and don't even sweat the in-between stuff. It is very rare to even hear a kid cry there, which definitely reassures my boys. Fortunately, no cavities yet! I wish I had started off so young, and with such a positive experience. read more

This office is all about kids and they really got it right! Great staff and friendly dentists, as well as a technologically updated waiting room and stuff to keep kids occupied while you wait. Really like this place. The waiting room is nice and I have always been greeted very nicely. The wait hasn't ever been bad and they are good with appts. I can't say enough about the Dentist bc he is so so good with the kids! The only reason I gave it four stars instead of 5 is bc they are expensive as is and I always get overcharged for my toddler. They always fix it when I say something but it feels like a big production which I don't really like. read more

I brought my 4 year old daughter to ABC Dentistry for children in Gilbert for her recent 6 month checkup. She has been to our family dentist for years, but had never let anyone look in her mouth. I was completely overwhelmed by the amazing staff and my daughter's reaction to their bedside manner. For the first time ever she let someone do x-rays, clean her teeth, and even polish them! The dentist was absolutely fantastic and even had her giggling in the chair with his silly songs. I cannot say enough good things about this practice and recommend them to anyone with children.
