I cannot say good enough about the clinic of Dr. Fish. He has ­recently removed a root left from my broken tooth, which was left there for a number of years and caused repeated inflammation. Dr. Fish had to cut my gums while cutting the root out of there. I felt absolutely no iscomfort while being unnecessarily nervous. There was also only very minor pain after the procedure for half a day. Interestingly enough, the administrative people submitted three different prescriptions to Walgreen pharmacy, which was repeatedly unable for them to find them in their computer system. It has taken several calls for two days for the pharmacy find only one of them, the one for antibiotics to be taken before this minor surgery. After the contact with the pharmacist, I learned that one of them was ready to pickup. Guess what, the filled prescription was for Clopidogrel (Plavix). Thanks God, I knew what this drug is for. I was taking this drug some 12 years ago the last time before. What an incompetence of this pharmacy. I was referred to Dr. Sarhangian, for a root canal, that had deteriorated. The office is well-maintained and the staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. X-rays were done to confirm the prognosis. Dr. Sarhangian explained everything in detail and suggested we proceed as soon as possible to avoid further complications. I was scheduled for surgery the next day and it was completed as planned. She called to check on me that evening, which I really appreciated. They provide a phone number after the procedure that you can call any time, 24 hours a day, just in case you need help. Dr. Fish put in two posts for implants for me during the past 12 months. I was nervous about the procedure but he put me at ease both times and it seemed like it was over in a matter of a few minutes. The postop pain was minimal and handled with ice and ibuprofen. The staff was friendly and professional and the same staff worked on both cases. The result both times was excellent. Went in for a consultation and 4 wisdom teeth extractions, both times was treated extremely rudely by the financial services receptionist. She made me feel like an idiot for having legitimate concerns or questions about the procedure. Which were perfectly valid if I am signing a consent agreement that states 'possibility of death'. She brushed me off and said "we are the best for a reason". That doesn't answer my concerns. She rushed me out so fast she almost forgot to take my payment for the surgery. They need to take their time and have compassion for their patients, they only care about the money. Do not recommend, only came here because of a referral from my dentist. read more

I wish there were more stars for this practice. I found Dr. Fish after I had a tooth extracted from a different surgeon and had a horrible experience. It took me two years to get my implant due to my bad experience. This office is so professional and treated me wonderful on every visit. I did the implant last week and chose general anesthesia. Dr. Fish offers a new pain relief option that is done during the procedure. It was an additional $200 but worth every penny. I did not have to take any pain medicine or ibuprofen after my procedure. Dr. Fish himself called that night to check on me. I had a follow up appointment the next week and I received a text that there was an accident at the exit on the freeway so to expect delays. Always above and beyond service. I probably could have saved some money going to another doctor but the level of care I received here was worth every penny. read more

Dr. Fish and his staff are professional, compassionate and efficient. Everything was explained to me very clearly, from my diagnosis to recommended treatment to the cost of the procedure. The office itself is a relaxing environment with a tropical fish tank in the waiting room and soothing monochromatic decor. I was very nervous about the tooth extraction but Dr. Fish and his assistant helped me to feel calm. I opted for nitrous oxide instead of general anesthesia, so I was awake but relaxed. Dr. Fish explained every step of the procedure and everything he was doing. Dr. Fish offers an injection of a time-release, non-opioid analgesic to negate the need for narcotic meds during recovery which you pay for out-of-pocket. I opted for the injection and I had very little pain post-operatively. He gave me prescriptions for Ibuprofen and a narcotic but I only filled the Ibuprofen. I never needed a narcotic. After the bone graft heals, I will return for the dental implant. He is an excellent dental surgeon and I would recommend Dr. Fish to anyone who needs oral surgery and/or tooth extraction. read more

Recently had my wisdom teeth out. It was a good experience. The staff was very friendly. And of course, there is a fish tank in Dr Fish's reception office. Met first for a consultation. Went over X-rays and put together a plan of action and recommendations. Got a quote and date scheduled. I decided to only do 2 teeth and they revised the quote and we set the date. I showed up decided to do local anesthesia and laughing gas. Stephanie took me back and was very nice. She set me up with laughing gas and I sat there waiting for the effect. The local anesthesia was numbing the area well but after 20 mins the laughing gas was not taking effect. I was getting congested and Stephanie was very helpful. Dr Fish came in and I was disappointed that the gas wasn't working. More for the video afterwords for the kiddos. Anyway, we kept the gas on and Dr Fish was very professional and communicated very well with what he was doing. He talked about pressure and a possible crack. Didn't hurt at all just weird to hear the crack of my teeth coming out. Within 10 mins we had two teeth out and I was done. Stephanie was great again and escorted me out of the room. At payment they credited the laughing gas and reduced the cost of taking out the teeth as it was easier than anticipated. I would recommend Dr Fish and his staff. Friendly and professional. Although I'm sure Dr. Fish is a competent oral surgeon, I am providing this review based on the truly abysmal service of the nurses. After I awoke from my sedation, they told me to simply "take a nap" and refused to provide me with ANYTHING to pass the recovery time. Literally, they could have just walked to the lobby and picked up a magazine. Overall, they were unhelpful and told me contradictory things about my recovery. Also, before my procedure, the entire surgery team was struggling to take my blood pressure. Incompetent much? This would be a good practice, but they really just need to change out their nurses. read more

He explained the whole procedure to my girls and answered all of their questions which helped them feel at ease. He was also very personable. Resorption. Now there's a head scratcher... I have an irrational fear of dental procedures. Anxiety, fainting, vomiting, all the fun stuff. Poor Dr Fish. I was referred to Dr Fish by David Lewis of Welcome Home Dental (another positive experience as far as dental experiences can go, Yelp review posted) and let me tick off the good: spotless office, to-the-point, knowledgeable staff, rad salt water fish tank, comforting office decor/scheme and prompt. Dr Fish aint all warm n fuzzy. He's not gonna sugar coat, crack jokes, entertain you or hold your hand. And I am 100% good with it. He's direct, assertive, knowledgeable and gets right to it. I apologized profusely for my crying and shaking. He assured me I wasnt the first nor would I be the last. He in no uncertain terms gave me every hypothetical outcome "not to scare you but to tell you what is possible" so that I was well aware of the good, the bad and the ugly. We chose anesthesia for my procedure, maybe because a trembling cry baby isn't a good candidate for power tools in the mouth. He said, wishing me a 'goodnight' , "You're gonna be at happy hour soon" and that made me smile as I drifted off. (well I guess he did crack a joke. Well there ya go.) All went according to plan (aside from the dry socket I got after-I dont wish that on anyone- and I am sarcastically saying to you Dr Fish "I hope I never see you again!". --Good experience for a bad situation. read more

You WILL NOT find a better oral surgeon! Dr. Fish extracted my wisdom teeth over 10 years ago, my husbands 8 years ago, and yesterday my daughters. Everytime we have gone, we have always been seen quickly, everything explained, and an explanation of payment given to us. It is crazy to say the experience is pleasant, because you go to see him for something so unpleasant. But the experience is not only pleasant, it is great! Just to quickly share our most recent experience. My daughter went in for a consult on Tuesday afternoon, they were able to schedule surgery the next morning. We were hoping for this as school is going to start soon. She went in for some very impacted wisdom teeth, and was told ahead of time it was going to be a little more difficult than most. After her surgery, we were given aftercare instructions, along with a phone number to call if we had any issues. She was very uncomfortable and the pain meds only made her throw up. We would get her to eat a bit, take some meds, then she would throw up. Instead of calling the dr, we just cared for her and tried keeping her comfortable with ice packs and kind words/encouragement. That same night, DR FISH HIMSELF called to see how she was doing. He called from his cell, in his car, but wanted to be sure she was ok and we didn't have any issues. I explained how her day had gone, he paid close attention to what I was telling him, and told us what we could do to try and help her. He told me to call again, the following day, if she had a rough night. He would then call in some different meds for her. The following day she was feeling much better. There was no reason for me to call the office as the night had gone smoothly and we could see improvement. BUT, that morning someone from their office called to see how she did during the night and to be sure we didn't have any questions or concerns. Having to have such a procedure done is extremely stressful! I am not a fan of having to go to the dentist or to the doctor. Most procedures scare me and I stress for days over them. But, Dr. Fish and is staff are truly amazing! I have referred them to friends who have also had great experiences. You will not be disappointed here! read more

He and his entire office are hands down the best medical professionals I have ever encountered. Dr. Fish has outstanding bedside manner and is very calm and patient. Kneejerk nervous nellie prescribes a narcotic for an extraction when I specifically said I didn't want it. Waited five hours in his waiting room for my first appointment which were drop-in orders from an endodontist--the staff kept telling me he will see me, and then he's is in surgery, back and forth, herky jerky. Two weeks after surgery he has me come back to check the healing, and there is no infection, but he starts telling me that I may need to postpone a cortisone shot I had scheduled with another doctor because it would lower my immune system, etc. He starts getting very bossy as if he is calling the shots on my other doctor's protocol. Dr. Fish patiently explained everything he would have to do for my procedure, answered all my questions and even complimented me on my sense of humor. We set everything up that day, made a down payment and went home to await the day of surgery. I had a botched removal a year ago from a different dentist. I was quite afraid of getting it fixed, but it was causing so much trouble that I had no choice. Dr. Fish and his staff were incredible! I knew from the consultation to after the surgery what to expect and what to do. Even the IV was a breeze, and I am not an easy stick. Dr. Fish removed the remaining pieces of teeth, patched my sinus cavity, and sent me on my way. He called to check on me that night. I am in minimal pain. Ibuprofen is enough! This office was great! Dr Sarhangian is a wonderful doctor. She made me feel at ease and explained everything to me and answered all my questions and eased any concerns I had. She also called me a few hours after my procedure to check in on me and let me know I could call or text her if I needed anything. I felt like she genuinely cared about my wellbeing and my recovery. His staff is always kind and courteous and I recommend him to everyone! We've had wisdom teeth extractions, super numerary tooth extraction (on a 3 year old) and a root canal tooth extraction. Dr. Fish calls all of his patients the day of the surgery in the evening to check up on you. Not his staff but personally he calls every patient. Best experience I've had with any doctor/dental office. Dr. Fisher is incredibly professional, fast and efficient. I was so shocked at how fast and painless everything was. He has this awesome little technique for those who fear those numbing shots like myself , a vibrating tool he uses to distract you I assume ... well definitely worked because I did not feel those pinches. Just thought I would add that lol . On to the important stuff --- Dr. Fisher was quick and gentle, extremely careful and so honest. He explained to me how I would be refunded back a significant amount because my surgery was not as difficult as he anticipated??!! I mean WOW , there is literally no way for me to have ever known that , I had already paid he could of easily just done his job and moved on. But no he was honest and told me exactly why and how he came to this conclusion, I was extremely impressed and inspired in a silly way . Staff at the front desk , also a plus! Kind, friendly and really welcoming. And the dental assistant that was there during my procedure -LUPE- was so helpful and made me comfortable. Such an awesome person with a great heart, been with Dr Fisher for 20 Years plus. That only shows how close of practice this is and that is a great sign because the patients can sense this as well.
