I'm going on 73 years old and this was a scary thing to face. Dr. Lemieux made me comfortable throughout the procedure and reassured me to call if I needed anything or had any questions.I opted for local numbing, no anesthesia. Now 24 hours later I have minimal pain. I likely won't need Ibuprofen today. I took Ibubrofen twice yesterday. I was definitely in some pain once the numbing medicine wore off.

You will feel so much better. Long story: I had to go here for an emergency tooth extraction. I had a pretty bad infection and my tooth was basically a shell of a tooth and was ridiculously nervous. I was scared to go so I let my tooth issue go on way longer than I should have due to prior dental visits elsewhere. On the form checked the box that I was having anxiety about my appointment and I feel like they actually read that and applied it to the appointment. The front desk girls were both so nice to me and helpful getting me in, the dental hygienists were super gentle with me and explained everything they were doing and what was going on in my mouth. Dr Ray was very patient with me and apologized for the discomfort I would have to feel to get numbed up but made sure I was numb and good to go before starting everything. He explained everything that I may hear or feel through the procedure and what to expect and we again very gentle considering he was pulling a tooth from my skull. Stephanie (I believe was her name. I have terrible name memory) was the dental hygienist that cleaned everything up and packed my tooth for me was super nice and thorough with explaining as well. Everyone made me feel so much more comfortable and less nervous about the whole situation. I seriously can not tell you how much I recommend going there over anywhere else I have been. I went in for my consultation on a Monday and they were able to schedule my procedure Friday of the same week. The entire team was so friendly and welcoming during my entire experience. Dr. Wilson explained everything that would need to be done very clearly and helped me to feel at ease. I opted for Exparel to be given during my procedure and it was definitely worth it. I experienced no pain during my recovery only mild soreness which was relieved with Tylenol. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson and his team if you find yourself in need of oral surgery. When I went into the office I was pleasantly surprised, it was very nice, clean and spacious. I was greeted by Beverly who was so warm and sweet, first she showed me around the office, took my X-rays and went over my medical history. When it came time to clean my teeth I got a little nervous and I told her about it, she was very calming. As she proceeded to clean my teeth I became more relaxed, she was very gentle but also not too gentle where she didn't clean, she was absolutely amazing. One of the brothers came in to check in and look at my teeth, he was a handsome, nice young man. My teeth felt so good when everything was done, $25 later. They really took care of me and I am so happy I found them. I knew at the time I needed the early gum disease type of cleaning which is a bit lengthy and a little uncomfortable. On my first visit I was impressed with the soothing atmosphere of the office and the level of customer service from start to finish. The hygienists are very kind and it seems like they all have worked there a long time. There are blankets and other comfort items available, and they can play movies or nature documentaries on the screen over your head for a distraction. I did have the more in-depth cleaning and opted for nitrous. Both during this cleaning and every exam and cleaning, the hygienists have been careful to ensure you're comfortable and they don't hurt you. And with regular care (just 2x a year) at Dental Brothers, I no longer need the special gum cleaning! I've seen the same dental brother - Dr. Dan I think - each time (ie the actual dentist, and yes, they are really brothers) and he's always been nice and not pushy about anything. On the logistics side, it's got plenty of parking which is nice.
