My whole family has been seeing Dr. Christensen for years now, and he's always taken great care of our teeth. Even put in a couple crowns for me. (Because I did not always take great care of my own teeth.) But today First Impression really went beyond the call. My son's wisdom teeth were in pain and I called hoping to make an appointment, and was asked if we could drive over right away and they'd try to fit us in. Dr. J is the best in every sense of the word. I have been going to him for about 16 years.His staff has the best service of any office I know of. If you call with questions they are great. They work hard at scheduling my whole family so we get our teeth cleaned at the same time 2 times a year. We travel about 30 miles to see him because he is that good. He is an honest Doctor who works very hard to prevent any major teeth problems. He has a gentle demeanor and is great with kids. My daughter had her first cavity last year and she never realized she had had a shot in her gums. I was amazed. read more

Everyone is super nice and it's not one of those dentistries where they find some bogus things that are wrong and then you go some place else to get a second opinion and find that the first dentist office was trying to just make money off you. This office is honest and I haven't been to the dentist in over a year and felt it was time for a cleaning. Turns out I have zero cavities. It was refreshing to go to an honest dentist! I've been coming here for YEARS, and I'll continue coming here for years to come. Dr. Justesen has assembled an amazing office that feels like family each time you walk in the door, even though most of us only come twice a year! It's been great to watch them expand their practice over the years, and Dr. Christensen is an exceptional addition to the team. What I love about this office is that everyone here really seems to care about you and your dental health. I never feel like a number, nor do I feel rushed in or rushed out. Everyone listens to my concerns (when I have them) and looks to find the right solution. There's a great focus on educating the patient to engage in preventative measures for dental health, which may be why I've had such good dental health for so long! For those afraid of going to the dentist because of judgment, don't be. No one in this office will judge you, no matter what situation you're experiencing. I've never felt judged, even when I admitted that I wasn't doing all I am supposed to (like flossing every day - working on it!). I wish I could give ten stars, but yelp limits me to five. Simply put, Dr. Justesen is the best dentist I've ever met! Just got back from his office, and was totally impressed by him and his entire staff. They are so kind, caring, professional, friendly...I can go on and on. I live in Chicago, but was in Arizona for business when I felt a problem with one of my teeth. I quit going to him because, after a number of good visits, I had a terrible visit. Let me say that I've had a LOT of dental work done, by a number of dentists, so I know what to expect and when some damage to soft tissue is unavoidable. On this visit, it was relatively simple work being done on front teeth, so it should have been no problem, but I ended up with more damage done to my lips and gums than I've experienced in a long, long time. Having lost the gene pool lottery, I have some ridiculous health problems that are very hard on my teeth. As a result of this Dr J has placed 7 crowns for me in the last 2 years along with filling several cavities so I have extensive experience with him and his staff. Everyone thinks I'm weird because I actually enjoy going to the dentist. It's because I've gone to Dr. J. since I was 5! (I'm 25!) He is amazing and his staff is incredible too. They are always so friendly and welcoming! They do excellent work and dont do unnecessary things. I'm always nervous about x-rays and they also ease my worries. They also have new hi-tech x-rays that are so quick and painless. The first person you'll meet is Liz, she runs the front office. She is such a good example of what's to come. Very friendly and welcoming and always professional. I've always used insurance but I've sent a few people to him that don't have insurance and they've said it was affordable. I have been a patient of Dr Justesens for over 30 years, I drive an hour each way to see him and it's worth every mile.He can give an injection and it's not felt, and it wears off as I am leaving the office! No all day numbness. I have 6 veneers because I tended to grind my teeth, and they are as natural as can be and no one yet has believed they are veneers. He is a fuss budget as my Mom would have said, and everything has to be perfect as it can be. PLUS, no matter what instrument he has to use, I can never feel it, yup he has a magic touch.Most of the time I don't think I even need to be numbed, just has that great concern for each patient, as do his entire staff. He is the best of the best or I would not be driving that distance but I have beautiful teeth, he keeps them that way and he is worth every mile! After 30+ years, I told him he can't ever retire at least not until I am gone!
