Wow!! This office is so friendly and efficient. I went in for a root canal, and Dr K was so kind and calming. I had a bit of anxiety, because who doesn't at the dentist, and both Dr K and the dental assistant were so good and helped bring my anxiety back down. I was in agony and needed an emergency root canal and couldn't wait. They took me the same day I called and it could not have gone better. Friendly helpful staff. Dr. Christopher Kayafas, who performed the operation, was outstanding. Very caring and communicative from start to finish. No root canal is cheap but their prices were reasonable and within the average range. I wholeheartedly recommend them. read more

Due to having longer than normal roots, my normal dentist had to refer me here to get a root canal. I was nervous about what that might entail since anytime you have to see a specialist, its usually not good. I can't say enough GREAT things about this place. From the start, Quincy was great helping to ease my worries and tension. Dr. Hales then stepped in and the two of them made this entire process quick and painless. They were extremely friendly and professional. Thank you so much to both of them for making this a quick, pain free experience! 10/10 would recommend to anyone. read more

VASTLY more pain a day and a half after the root canal than I ever experienced before. Not a happy camper. UPDATE: The dentist called (after seeing my review) and gave me a script for a stronger antibiotic. That seemed to help. UPDATE 2: Now the temporary filling fell out after 6 days. Ugh. read more

I went in for two root canal procedures this week and could not be happier with the experience. I know, happy with a root canal? The entire staff was friendly and professional and the office appearance great. And everyone who was involved in taking care of me was fantastic. Christopher Kayafas, DDS was excellent. I experienced little discomfort and he made sure I was doing well throughout the procedure. I believe Rebecca assisted and she was fantastic as well. I don't think anyone enjoys dental work, but these folks made the experience as good as it could possibly be. read more

Superstition Springs Endodontics - Dr Hales is Amazing! - Endodontists Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

I highly recommend Superstition Springs Endodontics for anyone needing emergency dental care. I called this morning after having tooth pain over the weekend and spoke with Katrina who was super proficient in gathering the pertinent information and getting me scheduled to be seen same day. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Katrina who helped get me checked in and complete the needed paperwork. She also provided me with an accurate breakdown of what my dental insurance would likely cover and my out of pocket expense for projected care. Tara took great care of me and assisted Dr. Jason Hales with my root canal. She was both professional and caring and clearly very competent in providing everything necessary during my root canal. Dr. Hales consulted with me about the findings during my evaluation and after discussing my options, I decided to go ahead with a root canal. Having such expertise care made my root canal much less traumatic than I had imagined. Both Dr. Hales and Tara took great care of making sure I was comfortable and kept me apprised of what was happening during my entire procedure. This office is one that I will return to in the future and will recommend to friends and family because they provide excellent care and are upfront about cost. I had a great experience. Thank you to all of the staff at Superstition Spring Endodontics for the wonderful care. read more

Excellent warm and friendly staff from the minute you walk in the door to post treatment. They made the unpleasant experience of getting a root canal more tolerable. Dr. Barney was super nice and caring and he spent a good deal of time explaining his course of action. Kylie was very considerate and clearly a pro at her job assisting the doc. I'm glad I picked this place for my root canal! read more

I can't say enough. I was terrified of going in for a root canal. My first root canal at that. Add to it that I am terrified of the dentists. Dr. Hales and his team are top-notch. They never once minimized my fear. They explained everything, instilled confidence, and even sang excellent tunes during the procedure. I hope not to have another, but let me tell you, this is where I will go. You should quite literally tell all your friends. Thank you, Dr. Hales - You and your team are top-notch!!! read more

I was referred to SSE by my dentist due to a tooth that was giving me issues and was suspected for a root canal procedure. They took me in in less than a week (it wasn't an emergency), and the whole process was simply amazing. Dr. Hales completed the procedure in 30 mins, completely painless and without any issues. Everyone at the office was simply amazing. If I have to get the same procedure again in the future, I will definitely go back, and I would also recommend SSE to anyone that needs their expertise. Thank you SSE!!! -Angel Rodriguez- read more

I am happy to have found Dr. Barney and his team. I am terrified of anything having to do with teeth and cry at about every procedure I have had done due to some past traumatic problems. Dr. Jason Hales at Superstition Springs Endodontist was great! They got me me in on time, didn't reschedule me, and got to work. They were great at giving me options, I like options and I like understanding what my options are. They do a great job at educating their patience on best vs worst case scenarios. Their office also does a great job at giving their cost to their patience. I love transparent companies. My entire experience was great from their front desk people to the dental assistants, to the actual M.d. This is a company that still believes in welcoming each client with a smile. They are friendly, clean, professional, and cost effective. If I had constructive feedback to provide, I would. But my entire interactions with them each time I arrived was a positive experience. read more
