The way they treat customers not so good. They have no idea about the sign up for your VIP CLUB. I there is a tip sign up then please educate your employees and if not then i apologize and will not become a member since your crew was so ignorant This place took responsibility to look into the VIP welcome and will take great care of us

We stopped by recently to check out the pop up Austin Powers bar before they shut it down in August. I saw it advertised on a reel on IG. Basically the Bar was converted into a Shagadelic experience featuring Food and bevies gearing homage to the International Man of Mystery. Definitely picked the hottest day in the East Bay too arrive before they opened. The Bar opened at 4pm, but we go here a tad bit early so he hung outside until they opened. The patio had a few tables we could sit under the shade, Once we were able to go inside the Bar, Israel greeted us and took our drink order right away. Wifey had the Spicey Rita and I got the S'more Danger bevies which had Brandy, and Cream with a Graham cracker rim and a toasted Marshmallow. We were amazed how much work they put in the decor by the way the Br was decorated. The food was not ready to order right out the gate, but we were busy looking around at all the decor around the sitting area. We were able to order food once the cook arrived and we had added a One Billion Dollar Burger, Fembot Deviled Eggs; and ordered some Brushette. All the food was good and the drinks were great. What was an added bonus is that they had a Pet Adoption demo with dogs going on outside, and we met a few pooches from the event inside the Bar. Definitely glad we got to experience this unique pop up and 2 Thumbs up to the "most Groovy" Bar; Yeah Baby!!

The Cellar Door located in downtown Pleasanton has joined the many bars that go all out with holiday themed cocktails and decor for the season. "The Christmas Story" themed bar was decked out with holiday cocktails named after the movie, an array of movie and Christmas decor, movie memorabilia displayed, and a Christmas Story playing on one of the tv screens. We arrived shortly after opening and it wasn't crowded, as the evening progressed more patrons arrived. We had to leave early due to a party starting at 6. We had enough time to enjoy our drinks and food. I would have liked to have stayed longer to enjoy the ambiance. Our server was kind and friendly, the drinks were delicious as well as the food. We had the deviled eggs, artichoke dip with cheesy crackers, chicken street tacos, and cheesecake. Everything was tasty and arrived hot and in a timely manner.

So good, I came twice in the same week! Came with the girls and then brought the husband for some pre-thanksgiving goodies. Shout out to Scott, the friendliest of bar tenders, who took care of me both visits. Epic decorations! They went all out for their holiday theme, based on "A Christmas Story." Vibe is cottage-core meets kitsch (in the best way). We ordered off their holiday menu and had a "It must be Italian" (riff off an aperol spritz) and Bo Ling Toddy (riff off a hot toddy). Both were cute and Stroooooong! The toddy came in a gingerbread man mug, and the spritz was served in a large wine glass. Two cocktails for around $30, and totally worth it. Cheers to a fun, watering hole downtown!

Here is what the QR code takes you to and the hours listed on the homepage.

The Christmas Story vibe was great. We sat down, scanned the QR code to see the menu, ordered drinks and then said we are ready to order and were told 'we don't do food on Sunday'. Really? Would have been nice if we were told when we sat down or even when we ordered drinks. It says on our website we were told. No it doesn't! The QR reader will take you to food and the home page shows your hours by day and makes no mention of it. The server was very nice and found some nuts and chips for us to have with our drinks but honestly we would not have spent $70 on 4 drinks if we had known there was no food available.

The Austin Powers theme is only for a couple more days, if you haven't seen it yet it is lots of fun! Came here for a drink before dinner, and the decor inside is so cozy. A great place to grab a drink and hangout. Service was great, attentive bartender and just an overall chill crowd here. Definitely will be back to try some food and more drinks!

They can get a little busy, so be patient with the staff as their drinks are very popular and might take a little bit. The staff was really friendly, attentive, and gave us clear expectations for wait times the whole time. The ambience was awesome for the pop-up, the decorations were super cute, and the attention to detail was awesome. Me and my boyfriend were guessing how many hours it might've took for them to decorate the whole place. It was awesome and super decked out The drinks were really yummy, food came out fresh. This would be nice for a simple date night, as well as hang out with friends. Their signature drinks are to die for this time I had a peachy king and lemon drop. I wanted to order the hoppy hour but it was so popular that they were sold out. I've come during the week and on the weekend. It doesn't matter which time I've come it's been GREAT! Today I came on a Sunday and they actually have a Sunday brunch where they have a live DJ they play music. They have shots going around it's fun and if you're going out with the family like I did today, you can sit in the upper area that's away from everyone else having the brunch fun. It was still fine even though we brought the kids and sat in the upper area. We could still hear the music and enjoy ourselves. I would highly recommend this place. It's a shame that I live so far away in Tracy that I only get to come once in a while because if I lived closer, I would come every weekend.!!! The desserts are so good!!!

A Charming Birthday Celebration in Downtown Pleasanton!…read more We came to Ruby's & Roses, located at the end of historic downtown Pleasanton, to celebrate a friend's birthday. The restaurant itself is exceptionally charming with fantastic decor and a wonderful vibe--we couldn't resist taking a few pictures before sitting down! The staff throughout the restaurant are super friendly, and our waitress, Natalia, was outstanding. She was efficient, warm, and made our entire dining experience seamless and special. The food and drinks made for a fantastic night out: * Beet Salad: This was so good we had to order a repeat! It featured the most amazing garlic goat cheese, crisp, fresh arugula leaves, and a top-notch dressing. * Mango Spicy Glazed Chicken Wings: Arrived warm, perfectly crispy, and packed with incredible flavor. * Side Bread: Served warm with delicious garlic butter. * Lamb Chops: Really well-made and tender with great flavor. The only minor downside was that the portion felt a bit light given the price tag, but the taste was definitely there. * Street Noodles with Prawns: Incredibly tasty, rich, and full of flavor--a total winner for the main course. * Cocktails & Espresso Martini: We tried a few great cocktails, but the star of the entire evening was hands down the espresso martini. Absolutely amazing! * Warm Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream: Ended the meal on a sweet note with this warm, decadent chocolate cake paired with ice cream--it was super rich and delicious. Overall, we had a fantastic evening celebrating with friends. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and delicious food, and we look forward to many more meals at Ruby's & Roses!

Very clean, very comfortable seats. Our waiter was a gentleman who wore glasses, never shared his name, not very attentive, and just did the bare requirements of a server. Every bite tasted like the first bite and was heaven. Such excellent seasoning and cooked to perfection. So were the potatoes. For dessert, we had the cookie butter sundae, which featured Biscoff cookies, ice cream, and a caramel sauce. It was tasty. I'll definitely be back, thank you!

At that time there were no other patrons dining and the staff by the bar were loud and talking about whatever and that was annoying. Our server looked sloppy, long hair not neatly done and wrinkled old looking uniform. Service was a little rushed. She kept coming back asking if we were ready and my friend had explained that we wanted to enjoy a cocktail first. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer. It was flavorful but had too much lime no peanuts and could have been crispier. We both ordered the Petrale sole with beans and vegetables. The fish was dry and had no sauce, not seasoned well and very lackluster for $40. The beans were the best part unfortunately. After recently having a sole dish at Absinthe which was out of this world, this was disappointing. The noise level was horrible and we could not even hear each other to carry on a conversation so left shortly after finishing our meal rather than enjoying a dessert and after dinner drink. I think this is the last time for me, sad because I keep hearing how good they are yet haven't experienced that "elevated" cuisine or atmosphere yet.
