I'm having the most 2020-ish year possible. I've managed to drop my trusty laptop of two years in June, bought a new one the same day and dropped that one in November. I've treated Barbie dolls better than I've been treating electronic devices. Considering I don't have the kind of job that can go without a computer, I zoomed to get this laptop fixed at GeekSquad the same day. I was told there was a 90-day wait and cringed. Still though, it's such a popular tech repair company, so why would I risk going somewhere I didn't know? Thirty-six days later, GeekSquad told me they didn't have my parts in stock and were returning it unrepaired. THIRTY-SIX DAYS! I was so irritated. I thought this was the end of this almost-new laptop because if they didn't have the part, who possibly could? I reached out to a couple of neighborhood places expecting to hear "we don't have the part either" and one company did not. But Cell N Comp Repairs seemed fairly confident that they might be able to snag it. They fixed the laptop in less than 48 hours! I waited 36 days for absolutely nothing. I will never make that same mistake again. The other parts that were "needed" by Geek Squad weren't even necessary to fix what was actually wrong with my laptop and Cell N Comp Repairs charged me less. Moving forward, I'm going to this company first. I could've saved myself a lot of frustrating days of using an alternate laptop while I waited if I'd have gone here to begin with. Do not go here!!! I went here to replace my iphone screen due to water damage. I paid 200 for a new screen just for it to be unresponsive, laggy, and camera doesn't work anymore. I went back to get it fix and they wanted me to pay 40 extra dollars. It has been over 5 months now and it keeps getting worse and worse. If you're reading this review, it's probably because you've (unfortuanelty) cracked the back glass on your iPhone, called pretty much every repair shop in town and they've told you 1 of 3 things: 1) We don't do back glass repair, sorry 2) Take it to the Apple Store 3) We'll need your phone for a few days Basically nothing you want to hear, right? You sure as hell didn't pay for Apple Care so taking it back to the source isn't going to be cheap. And giving up your phone for DAYS? Come on, this ain't 1999. A few hours is torture! This crew replaced the back glass of my iPhone 11 Pro for 129.00 and did it in about 3 hours. The work was quality and they even worked out a slight bend I had in the unit so it's actually a BETTER phone than when I took it in. Totally worth the trip from downtown to go to this shop. Hands down cheapest and fastest phone screen replacement I've ever gotten. Parking is a little easier than Devon, but expect paid street parking out front. Shop is cozy and to the point. I came in at at around 6pm on a Tuesday and the guys fixed my iPhone 11 in 20 min for $89. My Face ID worked before and after, but typing is a bit glitchy now. I brought in my Samsung Galaxy - Note 9. It's an old phone, I know, but I love it. The guys there fixed a water issue and changed out the charging port. I'm delayed in writing this review, but it is waaaaay more affortable than buying a new Verizon phone. I say that because who writes a review unless they love a place 3 months later. The guys there did it fast, within a 2 hour period, and the cost was in the $50 dollar range. Not sure exactly of the cost because I was just so happy to have it fixed, but it was affordable. There was a minor issue afterwards, but they quick acknowledged it and fixed it. Definitely a quality place with people with integrity. It's a bit early as I just picked up the phone. However I will say that it's a complete transformation. My iPhone 11 was smashed in a car door. I called ahead to make sure this place was serious about their price. They told me it would be about $65, out the door. So I drove about 15 minutes from my house and brought my phone. It took a little longer than 20 minutes but that's fine. They did a great job and my phone looks brand new Z even up sold me a tempered glass saver. Which he cleaned and installed on top of my phone and it looks and feels amazing. If you have a broken iPhone you want to go to these guys. They are reasonable and Do quality work.
