Griot. 48 hr marinated and you can definitely tell. Super tasty and lots of food for the price.

Alrtough it is locatwd in a sketchy gas station the food there was very good and well prepared. Service was very quick and friendly

Cecibon is back!!! The food was good, it could've been better only because I felt the chicken was fried in old grease, so it didn't seem fresh. The picklees were not fresh at all. Once you open the container you could smell that it was the verge of turning sour. But I'm not knocking on the prices, we got a platter of 12 plantains and 10 wings $17.00 I believe. Cheaper than Popeyes - I think we just got an off night. I will return and try them again.

Im not going to lie, this use to be the spot!!! I don't know if it's just run down over the years but this is not it. The service was Ghetto and after I payed for my food that's when they told me there's no fried plantain only sweet plantain, which is the main thing I wanted. And inside the restaurant looks terrible. The one table they have that you can sit at was broken. Everything just look dirty. And please throw away the cook's apron because everything was splattered on there. I hate to leave reviews like this but they have to do better. The food taste old. I should've just left.

20 fried chicken order

I walked up to the counter and was greeted by a young lady (she was new), she was very nice. Told her I wanted to order 20 pieces of fried chicken, she wasn't sure she could ring it up that way but the chef walked up and told her how. The chicken was ready in 5-10 minutes, it could have been seasoned a little bit more but I thought it was still good and it came out hot and fresh. I would got back for more for the next event I go to. It cost roughly $30 and came with pikliz (spicy pickled cabbage/carrots)

Seamless ordering & parking available - easier said than done for take out in Miami. My food took like 10 minutes maybe. Not the best griot I've had in my life but the portion was plentiful and the pikliz was piklizing if you know what I mean. $14 for lunch that I had leftover for dinner. They have a small area to sit if you want to eat in - no glitz and glamor there, but that's fine by me.

Great spot! The fried chicken was freshly made to order--crispy, hot, and full of flavor. The pickliz were fresh and added the perfect tangy bite. Definitely worth a visit

3 Legs 3 Plantains

Waited 15 mins for fresh chicken, not a problem. However, chicken was either cooked too long or the grease was bad. It was crunchy and tasted as if the grease was burned. The rice was barely warm. Haven't had cecibon since they were across from Edison middle in the early 2000's. I picked up a passenger from there a while back and wanted to try them. I truly wasn't impressed.

The best fried pork in town.. ceciben restaurant Address 1 NW 54th Street need come check damn out...

My friend and I traveled to Miami to attend Afro-Nation, but knew we just had to find some good Haitian food! I have so many Haitian friends but never tried Haitian food (smh). I asked for the black rice with griot but unfortunately they were out of black rice . My friend got the red beans and rice with fried goat. When I tell y'all after the first bite we both looked at each other with tears welling up in our eyes this food was 10 out of 10!!!! The plate was reasonably priced and came with a large serving of rice, two tostones (fried plantain, but savory), pickled spicy cabbage and then our protein. Lord have mercy!!! Haitian cuisine has quickly moved to top 3 fav foods for me!! I'm definitely coming back to this place!! The restaurant is located next to a gas station and the service is mid, little to no communication from the workers haha. Your questions are met with blank stares, but anybody that knows what's up, knows that's where the best food is usually at . Please stop by this place and support them because they are serving quality dishes here!!!

A solid Haitian food spot. It's one of the OGs that made a comeback. The hubs grew up eating at this spot but it was at a different location. Overall I was happy with it. The grio was decent, the sauce was well done and the pikliz was also hitting! We devoured the banan (plantains). The rice wasn't too impressive to me but I'm Haitian so I'm picky about my rice. I have high standards bcuz I believe Haitian rice is the best. The service was very good and it was a cafeteria style ambiance. This is more of a takeout spot so there's Not a lot of seating room but enough. If they added some art work it would really liven up the place and make you want to dine in. I would like to try their chicken next since I heard that's what they're famous for.

Noam greeted us warmly and immediately helped arrange a buffet-style setup featuring all the popular Haitian dishes--everything was flavorful, authentic, and beautifully prepared. The GM, Malinda, was extremely attentive, making sure everyone knew what each dish was and felt comfortable, and Matta was very professional and efficient while setting everything up. This was a real test of Naomi's Garden's ability to handle pressure and a big group, and they passed with flying colors. Beyond the amazing food, we genuinely learned about Haitian culture through the cuisine. Incredible experience--highly recommend Naomi's Garden for both the food and the hospitality.

The collard greens had no seasoning at all and tasted like watered-down vegetables. The key lime pie was soggy and, on top of that, very small. Honestly, the only good thing about this dinner was the canned soda. Sad part is we've bought from here before the snapper meal at was super good about 4 yrs ago after that we bought the snapper again then it all went down hill from there I thought I'd give them a try again but I'm 100% sure never to order from here again. I had to throw the entire meal to the trash .Oh and the Mac and cheese is in the trash too. Either fire all the cooks or close this place down .

The music, the energy, the culture, the warmth. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, patient, and kind. They were happy to explain the menu, made us feel comfortable, and honestly just radiated good energy. You can tell they care about the people who come in and that alone made the experience feel special, especially if you want to experience Haitian culture in Little Haiti. The passion fruit drink was actually really good. Different in a fun way, almost like a tropical Slurpee. They recommended mixing both flavors into one cup and that combo definitely worked. I'd give the drink a solid four out of five and I would absolutely get that again. The atmosphere overall was great, lively but not overwhelming, and it felt authentic and welcoming. Now, respectfully, the food just wasn't my cup of tea. I only tried one plate because I wanted to play it safe, and unfortunately my taste buds just did not align. The flavors were very bold and very different from what I'm used to. This isn't a quality issue at all, it's purely personal preference. I could tell it was a popular dish and something many people genuinely love, which tells me this is more about my palate than the food itself. The plantains and the seasoning on the plate didn't land for me, and for forty dollars I personally wouldn't order it again. That said, I would still recommend coming here if you want to try Haitian food for the first time or if you already love it. The vibes are immaculate, the staff is incredibly kind, and the experience feels authentic and welcoming. Even though I won't personally be back for the food, I'm glad I came, I'm glad I tried it, and I respect the culture and the people behind it. For someone who loves Haitian food, I can easily see this being a huge hit. Honorary five stars for the service, the atmosphere, and the overall experience.

The flavors were really hittin--not salty but definitely not lacking in flavor and complexity. So delicious The only criticism I would have from what I ordered is that the rice was ever so slightly undercooked which made it a bit dry. Other than that, everything was great. There's not really a server--you order and they text you when it's ready. Then you come pick it up and go to your table. But the cashier lady was very nice and helped me decide what to get.

If you're looking for something unique to try at the Citadel, Manjay is worth a shot. They serve Haitian cuisine. Portions were generous and in general, the food was kind of heavy. Many of the components I believe were made to order, so there was a short wait. Here's what my wife and I ordered: Appetizer: * Caribbean Conch Fritters ($14) - Manjay pikliz, honey mustard remoulade These were big and tasty. Six pieces, like giant hush puppies with conch inside. The plate came with pikliz in the center. Pikliz is like the Haitian version of coleslaw, made with cabbage, carrots, onions, and peppers. Manjay's version was spicy and yummy. Bowls, each with 2 sides and 1 sauce: * Honey Jerk Chicken Bowl ($18) - breaded and tossed in Manjay's homemade honey jerk sauce; with red beans rice and sweet plantains and scotch bonnet mango aioli * From Haiti with Love (Griyo) ($18) - Deep-fried Kreyol-style slow-braised pork; with banan payzay and toofay Both the chicken and pork were very good and flavorful. The pork was served bone-in. The rice and beans and sweet plantains were comforting and addictive. The scotch bonnet mango aioli was spicy. Banan payzay are Haitian pressed plantains. These were savory and starchy. The toofay ("legume") was good too. It's a hearty vegetable stew, essentially Haitian ratatouille. Our cashier was Roniqua and she was nice. During our visit, I think Manjay had the longest line (a good sign). After walking around, looking at the other food court options and seeing Manjay's high rating on Yelp, we were sold on Manjay. We dined in so we got real plates and silverware. We actually took everything up to the rooftop bar and ate up there. Our trays were bussed by the staff on the roof. Along with this location at the Citadel food court in Little River (just north of Little Haiti), Manjay has a casual strip location near the Miami airport in Doral. This Citadel location is the original; it opened in February 2019. The Doral location opened in 2024.
