Rice and beans, plantain, salad

Chef Creole @chefcreolemia Miami, FL Worth every single penny! Fairly quick service in the drive thru. Very relaxed atmosphere with patio seating. I enjoyed the flavor of the Creole shrimp and the rice was very tasty. Also, I'm usually not a fried plantain fan but these were perfect! The biggest Snapper I have ever gotten from any restaurant! And it was so flavorful! The sauce and pikliz sent it over the top! I dont think I'll order fried Snapper from anyone else ever! I can't wait to spin the block and try more from the menu! Do you like fried Snapper? #ChefCreole #Miami #HaitianCuisine #Creole #Shrimp #Plantain #Snapper #DriveThru #MiamiFood #LetsDrinkz #EatzWithSweetz #LetsEatz

I have been to this location before and it was absolutely delicious. Just like the first time the rice was a little different but still very good. This is one of many Haitian restaurants in Miami and it is definitely one I visit often. My favorite part is the drive through experience where someone comes right up to your car to take your order which is amazing. I will definitely be coming back because the food was once again absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the griot and the chicken wings.

Decided to visit Chef Creole on 54th street after reading a couple reviews and seeing pictures of the food online. The ambiance is very relaxing and inviting. It's like we're sitting on the beach in Haiti, instead of the middle of town. Our server was Teeday, he did an awesome job with giving us information on each dish and also gave his recommendations. Top notch service from him. Food came out and I almost forgot to take a picture because it looked and smelled soooo good! Teeday also gave us some pikliz to eat with our food. It has a little spicy but compliments the dishes to a T! We will be back to enjoy more delicious Haitian food. Come down and see Teeday at 54th street location!

My experience at Seasoned Creole was definitely one of the best I had during my trip to Miami. Customer service was top tier and everyone was so attentive, they even brought around hand sanitizer to every table. The food tasted extremely fresh and the fish was fried to perfection. They did however give me sweet plantain when I asked for fried. The sweet plantain was delicious, but not what I asked for. While the rice was tasty, I have definitely had better Haitian rice. I also tasted my friend's conch fritters and those were so tender and flavorful. I am typically not a huge fan of conch, but I would definitely have those again.

Full transparency here. On an earlier visit I had an issue with the service and brought it to the owners attention. By my next visit the service turned into top notch. They are very attentive to the guest, food is prepared in less than 15 minutes and it is so delicious. I've never gotten a bad plate. I come every Monday because it's just that good.

It's been a while since I had Haitian food that's *almost* as good as my mom's, and this place is it! Not too bad of a drive from south beach, but there wasn't anything else in the area so we stayed here. Flavors here were truly authentic. Seating is mostly outside, with a more covered indoor that's is considered indoors. There's also a drive through, I've never seen drive through options for any Caribbean style food, so that made me hesitant, but the food still came out fresh and full of flavor. Service was amazing! Our server made us feel welcomed, and was very attentive. I believe his name is Teday.

Always amazing food here nice island vibes my favorite spot in Miami the meat is seasoned all the way through huge amount of fish can't finish it all in one setting will definitely be having the rest for dinner tonight

Griot (Fried Pork)

Can't beat the price for a filling lunch - $13 griot with rice and plantain. I wish the pikliz was a bit spicier. The griot was not dry and cut in perfect pieces.

My co-workers and I ate here, and we enjoyed our experience. I really thought we were going to be hot & miserable because the eating area is outside in a hut. Haha, jokes were on us because the hut has a lot of fans to keep you cool so you can enjoy the Caribbean vibes!! Inside the hut was colorful and cute. It's a pretty spacious space for a group, too. They have drive-thru and a small parking lot too. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a huge group, and they were very attentive to our needs & the owner, Chef Creole, came to thank us for coming to support his business. That was very respectful of him! The food & drinks were very good. The food was fresh, tasty, and delicious. All the food we ordered we were very happy with. The only item we were disappointed with is the wings. The wings, I'm sure, where they brought them from, but they forgot to give the chickens their vitamins because they were so skinny & missing a lot of chicken! Lol, IJS, the wings weren't worth it. Everything else was yummy. If you're looking for traditional Haitian foods like Legume, chicken en sauce, and Tassot (goat or turkey), you will not find it on the menu. It's a clean location, food and drinks are delicious & staff/owner were friendly so l would totally go back. I would recommend others to check them out if you're in the neighborhood.

Noam greeted us warmly and immediately helped arrange a buffet-style setup featuring all the popular Haitian dishes--everything was flavorful, authentic, and beautifully prepared. The GM, Malinda, was extremely attentive, making sure everyone knew what each dish was and felt comfortable, and Matta was very professional and efficient while setting everything up. This was a real test of Naomi's Garden's ability to handle pressure and a big group, and they passed with flying colors. I asked about a menu and was directed online to search "Naomi Miami," but when I asked for the grouper fillet on the menu online I was told they didn't have it. I got the tofu with rice and the spinach stew, and my boyfriend got the chicken with yellow cornmeal. We haven't had Haitian food, but we both enjoyed our entrees. The portion sizes were large and I think most people could eat this for two meals.

The flavors were really hittin--not salty but definitely not lacking in flavor and complexity. So delicious The only criticism I would have from what I ordered is that the rice was ever so slightly undercooked which made it a bit dry. Other than that, everything was great. There's not really a server--you order and they text you when it's ready. Then you come pick it up and go to your table. But the cashier lady was very nice and helped me decide what to get.

If you're looking for something unique to try at the Citadel, Manjay is worth a shot. They serve Haitian cuisine. Portions were generous and in general, the food was kind of heavy. Many of the components I believe were made to order, so there was a short wait. Here's what my wife and I ordered: Appetizer: * Caribbean Conch Fritters ($14) - Manjay pikliz, honey mustard remoulade These were big and tasty. Six pieces, like giant hush puppies with conch inside. The plate came with pikliz in the center. Pikliz is like the Haitian version of coleslaw, made with cabbage, carrots, onions, and peppers. Manjay's version was spicy and yummy. Bowls, each with 2 sides and 1 sauce: * Honey Jerk Chicken Bowl ($18) - breaded and tossed in Manjay's homemade honey jerk sauce; with red beans rice and sweet plantains and scotch bonnet mango aioli * From Haiti with Love (Griyo) ($18) - Deep-fried Kreyol-style slow-braised pork; with banan payzay and toofay Both the chicken and pork were very good and flavorful. The pork was served bone-in. The rice and beans and sweet plantains were comforting and addictive. The scotch bonnet mango aioli was spicy. Banan payzay are Haitian pressed plantains. These were savory and starchy. The toofay ("legume") was good too. It's a hearty vegetable stew, essentially Haitian ratatouille. Our cashier was Roniqua and she was nice. During our visit, I think Manjay had the longest line (a good sign). After walking around, looking at the other food court options and seeing Manjay's high rating on Yelp, we were sold on Manjay. We dined in so we got real plates and silverware. We actually took everything up to the rooftop bar and ate up there. Our trays were bussed by the staff on the roof. Along with this location at the Citadel food court in Little River (just north of Little Haiti), Manjay has a casual strip location near the Miami airport in Doral. This Citadel location is the original; it opened in February 2019. The Doral location opened in 2024.
