Came here for the first time and the food was tasty. I didn't know what to expect from the spicy beef patty and I would say it was okay. The jerk chicken and curry goat was so freaking good though (mouthwatering) We also got Mac & cheese and potato salad (not pictured) I wouldn't order the Mac &cheese again not sure if it was just the time of day (2:30pm) it looked sad and seemed as it was sitting for way too long, was a bit dry and just ok. Overall would come back for the other two plates and the staff was friendly and on top of it.

If you're looking for good good food check out Clive's Cafe. Everything we ordered was superb. The oxtails were cooked to perfection. Jerk conch was awesome. The portions were scrumptious & generous. Tony was our gracious host. The ambiance was nice. Stop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed.

It's a little far for me. I'm in Coconut Grove, walking into this place. The music was amazing. I sat down. The Lady was very friendly in the bar didn't smile much. but she gave me what I wanted. Everything was amazing. I sat down and I got my favorite breakfast. LOVE IT

I want to start by saying the dish is exactly what it's suppose to be. The fish was fresh and tender. My only suggestion is they put garlic butter on the fish and veggies, It would take the dish to a 6 out of 5! I ordered mine to go so I didn't interact with the staff too much but they were welcoming and nice over the phone. I was really skeptical about the Mac & cheese but they checked that box off with honors and that pushed it to 5 stars. I can't stress garlic butter enough though ijs lol

The food was amazing!! We got the oxtails and jerk chicken. The rice and peas, mac, and cabbage were great sides. The customer service was great. We were greeted and seated once we arrived. There is a dance area, a nice bar, and even room for live music. The location was easy to find, but parking is limited. Definitely fresh and authentic.

My jerk chicken was decent for the most part . They use what appears to be a dry rub (very visible) in addition to the already seasoned chicken . I thought the combination was ok but not my favorite flavor profile for jerk chicken . Perhaps the amount of the dry rub was just too much or something but it was just ok to me . The rice and peas was abit dry as well and didn't taste of the typical coconut milk but helped by the side of oxtail gravy . The plantains finally weren't super ripened as I'd like them but were ok . The meal didn't come together nicely enough for me to say that I really enjoyed it . Everything individually was just ok . I also was able to sample the bbq chicken and it was very similar tasting to stew chicken . I don't know if I like it or not but I did notice grill marks so I know it was atleast made on the grill . Speaking to one of the workers, Brittany, I also found out that the mac and cheese and the potato salads are made with eggs which are no-no's and for all that I've mentioned, I am personally one and done with Clyde's .

We found Clive's Café on the best of Miami list. I am so happy that we did. I ordered the jerk chicken with macaroni and cheese and plantains. My son ordered the jerk chicken pasta with a side of macaroni salad and plantains. We were both blown away with how delicious the food was. The jerk chicken was to die for. I cannot even explain the flavors. The plantains were the best I've ever had. The macaroni and cheese was pretty good as well. Best of all we were served by Clive himself. Clive is a very personable man with a great smile. The restaurant itself has a nice ambience.Overall, I say Clive's is 10 out of five stars, but that's not an option. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Clive for a wonderful experience.

Nice spot for Jamaican cuisine. We had the jerk chicken, jerk pork, and pasta dishes. All were good. Would definitely return when in the area. It's a nice size location with plenty of seating. Some music playing would be a nice addition to dining in.

This was my delicious meal. I don't think I could put my grandchildren photos in here so this will do.

Well, I thought I had written a review for Clive's Café. We all went here as a family and had delicious food when I was in Miami in December visiting my grandchildren. I definitely want to come back here again. It's located in liberty city which was nice and pleasant for the day and only good things to say what a great restaurant delicious food!

    Spice beef patties

Me and my son just came back from a cruise and since we were in Miami I had to get some Carribean food. My cousin who is from Homestead recommended Clives in Little Haiti so I decided to give it a try and was glad I did. My son ordered the 3 spice beef patties and I ordered jerk chicken, with plantains and rice & peas. I must say that this was by far the best jerk chicken Ive ever had and Ive had some good authentic jerk before. The plantains were cooked perfectly and the chicken was delicious, especially the jerk sauce. The waitress was very nice and the establishment was very clean. i will definitely be back next time Im in Miami.

Curry Goat To Go - it was perfect. Good portion, flavorful with a hint of spice. I recommend - my new go to spot for lunch.

If you're looking for something unique to try at the Citadel, Manjay is worth a shot. They serve Haitian cuisine. Portions were generous and in general, the food was kind of heavy. Many of the components I believe were made to order, so there was a short wait. Here's what my wife and I ordered: Appetizer: * Caribbean Conch Fritters ($14) - Manjay pikliz, honey mustard remoulade These were big and tasty. Six pieces, like giant hush puppies with conch inside. The plate came with pikliz in the center. Pikliz is like the Haitian version of coleslaw, made with cabbage, carrots, onions, and peppers. Manjay's version was spicy and yummy. Bowls, each with 2 sides and 1 sauce: * Honey Jerk Chicken Bowl ($18) - breaded and tossed in Manjay's homemade honey jerk sauce; with red beans rice and sweet plantains and scotch bonnet mango aioli * From Haiti with Love (Griyo) ($18) - Deep-fried Kreyol-style slow-braised pork; with banan payzay and toofay Both the chicken and pork were very good and flavorful. The pork was served bone-in. The rice and beans and sweet plantains were comforting and addictive. The scotch bonnet mango aioli was spicy. Banan payzay are Haitian pressed plantains. These were savory and starchy. The toofay ("legume") was good too. It's a hearty vegetable stew, essentially Haitian ratatouille. Our cashier was Roniqua and she was nice. During our visit, I think Manjay had the longest line (a good sign). After walking around, looking at the other food court options and seeing Manjay's high rating on Yelp, we were sold on Manjay. We dined in so we got real plates and silverware. We actually took everything up to the rooftop bar and ate up there. Our trays were bussed by the staff on the roof. Along with this location at the Citadel food court in Little River (just north of Little Haiti), Manjay has a casual strip location near the Miami airport in Doral. This Citadel location is the original; it opened in February 2019. The Doral location opened in 2024.

The vibe of the space feels like they brought in the murals of wynwood to their interior design. The music selection was rap hit after rap hit, loved. We sat at the bar. Our server was Marcus. He was so helpful and attentive. Gave us his menu recommendations, which we followed suit. We ordered the duck dumplings and the sweet potato croquettes from the HH menu. From the regular menu, we ordered the bbq toro and the oxtail udon. The duck dumplings had a rich au jus, great. Our favorite app was the sweet potato croquette. Slightly sweet, a satisfying crunch, but soft in the center with tender brisket. The white bbq sauce and parm gave it a nice smoky nuttiness. Ordered another round, they were so good! The bbq toro had an amazing smokey flavor and a nice citrusy butter as the sauce. The cut was perfect. The oxtail udon was really hearty, and by far the best dish we had (though all the dishes were seriously incredible). It comes with a cured egg yolk, which they mix for you tableside. How does a brunch reservation get confirmed for a time when the restaurant isn't open? I decided to give it another try this weekend and went at 5 PM to sit at the bar. The hostess told me there was a "Hungry Post" event happening. I asked about the price and she said it was $100 per person. Okay, fine -- but when I asked what the event included or what it was about, she seemed unsure and said it was "just a party" and that you just go in. No explanation of what was included, no specials, nothing. Charging $100 per person just to attend a "party" with no clear details feels odd and poorly communicated. I genuinely want this place to succeed because the food and drinks are great -- I just wish they would focus on that and improve communication and organization instead of trying so hard to be trendy.

The croquettes are flavor bombs with the lime salt sending them to the next level. The empanadas are good and full of meat filling. We had 4 different entrees and shared them. My smoked pork was a tad dry but the Smokey presentation offset the texture. We did have to move the smoker off the table as it got eye irritating. I would have also liked a plate to move everything to after the wow factor. (I should have asked for one). My wife's fried fish is served whole in chunky bites. Flavored well it was great on its own. She thought the chili oil sauce had an Asian flare which felt off theme. Our friends dishes were the flank steak (good size and flavor) which was cooked to his required doneness, and the Marabu Charcoal pork. Both dishes were delicious with their sauces. Marcia suggested a fiery sauce if we liked heat. We told her to bring it and it did not disappoint. Heat at all levels left a good lingering heat for minutes. It was good with everything. We skipped dessert as we were full and chose to window shop in the mall to walk off a full belly. Highly recommend, ask for Marcia and we will be back.
