okay so listen the food was good, i was full my biggest downside was it did take 45 minutes to get our order out and it maybe might have been a random system error but we did wait with good music just wished the kitchen ran a bit smoother. Overall The food was good i just wished they threw some other cajun and garlic in the eggs or grits they came cheesy for sure and they tasted good simple but with some cajun powder on the chicken and a bit more seasoning i would of given 4 stars even with the long wait. Regardless the staff was nice it was not a lounge environment just a typical breakfast place with loud music (which was good) and tables. But for the wait i wanted some more seasoning but their prices are very good and the food portion is good so you know what I'll come back just throw some cajun for ya girl. The hot sauce packet for my grits did do some wonders but the chicken would hit so much more w more seasoning! Can't lie tho i left wanted to try the fried biscuits because they give more beignet dessert vibes but with the wait being long i'll just come another time and see what's up! Worth your money though we paid 24 dollars w drinks for 2 people, and nowadays breakfast even at ihop is about 30 dollars why not support a local business and get a bang for your buck better than a chain that does not care about anything other can customer turnover in and out rather than quality

Go at your own risk, but rest assure you might not want to go on your lunch break. I ordered breakfast on my break it was fried snapper, grits and potatoes. First of all it took 50 minutes yes 50 minutes. Once my food was ready you would think they would apologize for the wait NOPE. They handed me my food and got me out of there immediately before other customers heard my complaints. Then the snapper omg the snapper was old and hard. In 5O minutes they could have caught a fresh fish and cooked it. Just horrible and I'm definitely showing yall a picture of this old fish. I thank god i didn't get sick. 1 out of 10 I would not recommend

Soul Food time!! I was visiting the area and I was looking for some soul food so I found this place online and checked it out. I ordered the catfish sweet potatoes and macaroni and cheese. The sweet potato had some type of seasoning on it that I do did not too much care for. But other than that everything else was really good. The customer service was great the ladies at the counter were very friendly and giving me their personal opinion of what to order on the menu since it was my first time. Definitely worth you stopping by if you want some soul food and you are in the Miami area. All the food is at a good price point as well.

First time trying this and I must say the grilled pork chops were top tier. Pork chops were seasoned to the bone, so amazing. The rice of the day was elite, just wish I added gravy on top and that would've set it over the top. Mac and cheese was decent, but still fresh and hot. But the grilled pork chops were the star of the show, can't wait to go back. 8.7 out of 10

Wow. Just wow. This food exceeded all expectations. Flavorful! Large portions! Seasoned to the T! Oxtail & grits 10/10! Oxtail was fall of the bone tender and cooked traditionally in Caribbean spices. They put plenty of gravy! and the grits were the perfect accompaniment. I've never paired the two before but it was delicious. Shrimp & grits 10/10! Creamy, cheesy and well seasoned. They were generous with the shrimp and portions overall. 10/10 recommend and will be returning to try more items from the menu.

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!!! I am literally writing this with oxtails on my fingers that's how goomuch this review can't wait! I ordered through a delivery service and everything arrived quickly and still hot! Where do I even start? Everything is seasoned downnnnn! The fried chicken is crispy crunchy delicious! The Mac and cheese was definitely Mac and cheeeesy! The yams were flavorful, the greens were tender and just the right amount of flavor not too salty or too much vinegar, just right! The green beans had a classic flavor. The rice and beans were amazing and definitely cooked to perfection! And the winner....the oxtails...now let me tell you something. They did their thannng on the oxtails, they were tender, flavorful and plentiful! Wow!! Chefs kiss, I am so happy I took a chance and will definitely order again, and again! Ohh and I forgot to add the nice touch with the extra Texas Pete! I mean comeeee on now!!! Pat on the back Ikrave, you did the damn thang!

My last day in Miami and my friend decided to finally take me here as it's 1 of his fav spots to buy food from when he's in town. Small spot to just grab food and go. I was craving oxtail and decided to try. Now I will say the oxtail and collared greens were all seasoned and flavored well. But it was dangerously salty. Like heart attack lol. I had a slight hangover and was super hungry so i I still tore it up but they def need to work on that. The mac was delicious He loves the food so I figure it was an off day. The young lady behind the register was super friendly and helpful. I'll be back to give it another shot.

I came to Miami in search of a good soul food place. iKrave was questionable at first - however - I love to try for myself. The owner greeted us. I ordered the Dark & Lovely with macaroni, collards and rice. Everything was SEASONED to perfection! Portions were great. I was truly satisfied. The owner refused to serve us macaroni he said wasn't ready or warm enough. The respect he gave us to be honest was very pleasing. The environment is very friendly and welcoming. I loved the food.

Chicken is insanely crispy, tasty, cooked perfectly. The macaroni and cheese surprisingly had peppers in it. The green beans were mush and oddly vinegary. But the collard greens...holy hell those were the best I have ever tasted. Flavor, crispness and the meat inside those collard greens melted in your mouth. I would order this again. They have a lot of choices for side dishes so I will be exploring other options!

Support local business'(; This place has the best chicken and waffles in Miami. I ordered a quick little Togo order and even then the quality doesn't disappoint. I got a small Raspberry tea, the Exotic Fruity pebble Waffle with chicken strips, a Salmon croquette and some Strawberry Banana pudding for dessert. The Raspberry tea.. ughhhh so good. Not too sweet and super refreshing. Wish I would've went with the large. The Fruity pebble waffle and chicken strips never miss. (I've tried the Red velvet ones too and this one is my fav). The waffles are sooooo fluffy. They drizzle some kind of frosting on it so you don't really got to add syrup but I did anyway :P the chicken strips were perfectly crispy and tender. But the both of them together just makes the perfect combo. If you're feeling something sweet&savory, I recommend. The salmon croquette looks more like a thick salmon patty. Strong fishy smell and taste but it tastes pretty good. The Strawberry Banana pudding was the cherry on top. I like it more than the regular banana pudding because it has that tarty touch to it creating a nice balance. I was able to see the inside when I picked up my food and it looks super chill with cozy booths. Love the neon light signs and the music. The cashier was welcoming. A great spot to enjoy some soul food and nostalgic tunes. The prices are super affordable as well. I can definitely see myself bringing my kids here :) They loveeeeeee tasty food 10/10

I recently ate here for the first time while on vacation and it's literally some of the best food I've ever had. I ordered an oxtail meal and everything was made to perfection. I highly recommend!

Best morning diner breakfast style food I've had in all of South Florida. They have such a unique taste and spin on typical breakfast food and different flavors and style of waffles. The chicken and waffles was spectacular! Take a look at these pictures. I would recommend this for breakfast 5/5 times and I will be returning to try a different dish on the menu !

One of the best smash burgers I've had--juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and just stacked right. The sides were just as impressive. Solid Smashburger Gem in Wynwood…read more Went last week on a whim after a neighborhood recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. Cowy Burger is tucked away on a side street off one of Wynwood's busier drags--but don't let the low-key location fool you. We arrived just before noon and walked straight up to the counter; minutes later, the lunch rush (and what felt like busloads of people) rolled in. Perfect timing. I ordered the Cowy Burger, and as someone who's not usually a smashburger fan, this one worked for me. It was juicy, not overly thin, and--crucially--not overcooked. The grilled onions were a great touch. I'm not a fan of American cheese, and while it didn't ruin the burger, an upgraded cheese option would absolutely elevate it. The waffle fries on their own were excellent. The version with cheese and bacon, however, was a miss for me--the cheese tasted like American/Velveeta territory and felt a bit cheap. A sharper or more thoughtful cheese choice would make a big difference here. Drink selection was pretty standard (mostly carbonated options). There's a real opportunity to add something like iced tea or lemonade to balance things out. Pricing was fair, the space was clean, and while seating is limited, the vibe was good--just be prepared for takeout or a short wait during peak times. Where Cowy really shines is customer service. The cashier walked me through the menu, brought the food out, checked in when things ran a bit behind, and made sure everyone was taken care of. That level of attention is not typical for Wynwood spots and definitely earns them a plus. Final take: a solid four stars. It's already a great option, and with a few tweaks--better cheese choices on burgers and fries, and a slightly broader drink lineup--this could easily become my go-to smashburger in Miami, not just Wynwood. Big potential here.

There is something sacred about brunch…read more Not rushed breakfast. Not quite lunch. But that magical middle moment where time slows down, glasses clink, and the only real agenda is conversation. Brunch is where stories get longer, laughter gets louder, and the morning gently stretches into afternoon. That spirit was alive and well thanks to the beautiful comfort-food magic coming out of Morgan's Restaurant. Instead of sitting in the dining room, we did something even better -- we brought brunch home. The delivery arrived like a celebration in bags. When everything hit the table the first reaction was simple: good heavens, that's a lot of food. And thank goodness it was. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and friends... those waffles were nothing short of brunch heaven. Light. Airy. Fluffy in that almost cloud-like way that only a truly great waffle can achieve. There was just the faintest whisper of vanilla running through the batter -- subtle, elegant, and absolutely perfect against the savory crisp of the chicken. Each bite had that beautiful balance of sweet, salty, and indulgent comfort. Around the table the feast continued to unfold: * An overstuffed omelette that looked like it had been engineered by someone who believes breakfast should be generous. * Stuffed French toast that bordered on decadent -- golden, rich, and begging to be shared. * Eggs Benedict, silky and satisfying with that classic brunch richness. * And bacon prepared two glorious ways: - one beautifully crispy and savory, - the other brushed with a hint of maple syrup, delivering that irresistible sweet-smoky finish. And then -- because brunch deserves a little sparkle -- we opened our own prosecco. For the next two hours, the table became what brunch tables should always become: a place of stories, laughter, catching up, and the simple joy of being together. Because the truth is this: Time should be savored. And it is best savored with good food, good friends, and a table that invites you to stay a little longer. Morgan's delivered the food in spectacular fashion. We brought the conversation. And somewhere between waffles, prosecco, and a second helping of bacon, the morning turned into one of those perfect brunch memories you wish you could bottle and pour again next Sunday.

I added black beans to the dish as well which I would highly recommend for others to do the same. My partner had the day's catch and was offered a piece of fish which was pretty delicious, but for $30 it was a bit too much. The picadillo a la habanera had good criolla sauce, which defined the flavor of the dish. We ordered a flan and an arroz con leche as well, and both desserts were tasty and decorated beautifully, especially the golden sugar crust on the arroz con leche, which almost resembled the crème brûlée sugar top. In terms of drinks, the piña colada didn't taste like an alcoholic drink, which could be a hit or miss depending on who's having it. The guava juice tasted very fresh, which subsequently made it not very sweet, which we were more than okay with. I also felt like the instructions for water were not very clear, because it seemed like my partner was led on to believe that still water was free, but we were charged $14 for it at the end. There was also a 20% service fee which I clarified with the waiter that it didn't count as tip. However, the suggested gratuity was roughly 7% to 12% based on the bill.
