I'm sure it's beautiful in the evenings. I had the Royal with cheese as well as the Caesar salad. The burger was solid - it is a smash burger with two patties, pickles, tomato, lettuce and a good sauce. I wish that it had onions on it - I think that would have pulled it all together! The salad was not your usual Caesar salad, with corn and bacon bits. Overall, it was a solid lunch meal. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I would love to come back to try their happy hour or brunch menu!

The food was all super. Great flavors. Fresh. Tasty. Unique. The drink menu was fun too. A good list, and lots of unique options. I had the Soylent Green which is a play on the Incredible Hulk. This time, we showed up around 2pm, the oxtails were cooked- so she ordered the oxtails and grits, I ordered the shrimp and grits. Can I tell you how disappointed I was?!? This plate of shrimp and grits, the cream sauce looked like it had been reheated from frozen in the microwave. It looked a little curdled. I'm always down for an adventure- so I ate it. The taste wasn't bad, it just wasn't really good. Sad to say- it was mid at best. Plus, the shrimp still had the tails on. Imagine that! My sister said the oxtails weren't cooked enough- she had to cut the meat off the bones. Hopefully this was just a really off day. Based on my first experience, maybe I should stick to morning visits.. but I'm sure I'll return.

I'm not from this area so it looks like a few locals eat here and homeless people are out here begging for money while I wait for my food. We ordered at the window and only waited a few minutes for our food. The Cuban bread was extremely dry and the croquetas were raw and not the ham ones we ordered, they gave us chicken ones. As for the Texas toast bacon egg and cheese sandwich that bread was super thick and dry. It had no flavoring of Texas toast, it was just old thick white bread. The actual bacon egg and cheese was decent but hard to taste through that old stale thick bread. Needless to say I will never be coming back.

The restaurant itself is beautiful and has almost a speakeasy-type vibe, which I really loved. The staff was also super friendly. Our waitress answered all of our questions and made great recommendations. At first, we weren't sure about getting the flatbread, but she assured us it was delicious and made in-house.
