My wife was sent this spot as a reccomendation seen on IG. She could not wait to get here lol. We were greeted by Cooper who answered any and all questions we had. She was super nice. Ms. Cooper's energy had us cracking up We ordered the $50 platter that came with fried shrimp, fried conch and conch balls and fries. This was definitely enough for 2 to 3 ppl as it states on the menu. We were then given a number and told to wait in our car because she would bring the food to us. We waited about 10 or so mins. It was not crowded nor a line. Our food came out hot and delicious. The batter was so light, the shrimp was hugh and the conch was tasty. Honestly, this was our 1st time eating conch. We were throughly pleased. We were so pleased, we ate everything right in our car.. in the parking lot. We didn't want the food to get cold, so we just enjoyed it there. Happy we did. I saw this place on Facebook featured on Miami Food. I decided to stop today for lunch and it was a good decision. The food was very good I ordered the Conch and fries it was fresh the portion was very generous service was great. You place your order, they give you a number, you put the number on the hood of your car and they will bring the food out to you. The only thing I would suggest is that the owner maybe invest in some Fabuloso maybe to spread around the food truck the smell is not really totally bad but it could be better. I love the food at this place usually but I ordered it through Uber eats this time and that was a mistake .i spent $55 dollars on 2 conch salads and they arrived warm and one of the cups had a little crack in it so there was no juice in the conch salad it was all in the bottom of the bag. I really enjoyed the fried shrimp & the conch salad. Everything about the shrimp were perfect and the conch salad was authentic Bahamian style conch salad and not the red tomato juice version some people make. The conch balls weren't bad but you could kind of taste the oil in them. The hot honey sauce paired with the conch sauce ( Venezuelans call it "pink sauce") was perfect on the shrimp. The conch salad was really good but it felt like it was missing a little something to take it over the top. I had the tropical conch (spicy). They offer different condiments on the front of the truck, so I may take advantage of that if I go back. The food truck is located at the gas station across from 7/11 by the car wash. It's clean and the order process mimicked something you would see at chic-fil-A. It was prefect efficient even though the wait time was about 45 minutes(they did have a lot of orders and cars). It's definitely was a solid 8/10. For the entire meal and it's definitely worth a try. It was a great Caribbean/Bahamian cuisine. Was super eager to try this place since people have been raving about it online anddddd of course since it's a black-owned business. They had flashing lights and music playing and it really helped in setting the tone. Service was also good. They give you buzzers to indicate when your food is ready which I really loved the idea of since there is limited parking. Conch here is superrrrr good and fresh. They don't have varying sizes for cups, but they make sure to give you plenty of conch. Lovedddd the dressing for the conch. It was superrrr flavorful and I loved how all the veggies were finely chopped. Onto why they got 4 stars instead of 5. I was reallyyyyyy looking forward to a water ice and was told they didn't have any at the time. Superrrrr disheartening especially considering the fact that the menu isn't all that vast, so you'd expect them at the very least to have plenty of the things they DO offer. It was also disheartening because we weren't given an explanation or a time frame on why they didn't have any water ices??? No signage or anything. Speaking of signage they also didn't have any visible menu prices listed (weird). We ended up paying $47 dollars for two cups of conch and an icee (since there was no water ice). All in all though I would recommend this spot for all my avid seafood lovers who don't mind paying because the conch was delicious and the water ices look phenomenal (via their social media) and I still really want to try one!
