I've been to the location in Atlanta twice and enjoyed the food. This location is nothing like the one in Atlanta. I honestly was expecting this one to be better since its in Miami. Interior: As soon as I walked in I was shocked how small this place is. This is a take out restaurant only. The location in Atlanta is much bigger and have dine in tables and a full bar. Much nicer than this one. The Opa Locka location only have a few chairs to sit down to wait for your order. As you walk in you immediately see the order counter. They have their menus on the wall and to go menus on the counter. Nothing special inside. Food: I ordered the shrimp platter that came parsley potatoes and garlic corn. And 6pc lemon pepper wing and fries. The shrimp platter was okay. The wings were ridiculously small. It was $11 for tiny baby wings. They really shouldn't sell no one wings that tiny. I was definitely disappointed when I opened my box. It tasted more like salt & pepper wings rather than lemon pepper. I tasted a bunch of salt. The fries were a bit salty too. Location: Its located in a plaza. Right next door to a Spanish bakery and a banquet hall. The parking is decent but depending on how busy the plaza is you may not get front door parking of course. Customer service: I was greeted immediately when I walked in. It was two people working in the front, a girl and guy, they both was nice. After I ordered, the girl told me it will be about 15-20mins for my food. Which I kinda expected a bit of a wait. I have been drooling over Crabman 305's Instagram posts for years. I finally gave this place a try via Uber Eats. Everything was cold, which was kinda weird because it was only a 15 min delivery with no stops on the way (gotta love the track feature on food delivery apps). The pictures of their food on social media looked amazing, but in person, my food didn't wow me. The side of fries was very small and needed more seasoning. The crab was served over the crab rice, so all the buttery goodness that I would have liked to dip my crab and shrimp in got absorbed by the rice. Overall, it was just an ok meal. read more

Crabman 305 has always been pretty good on the many weekend trips I've taken to Miami. This is not an establishment where you can sit down and dine in so don't even think about it. On my last visit I actually saw a few people picking up call in orders, which I thought was pretty smart since the wait for food can get quite lengthy. My favorite thing to order is the garlic snow crabs with two sides. For my sides I always get the potatoes and corn but decided to try the pasta instead. I wasn't a big fan of the pasta since it was very oily and just did not compliment the crabs well, but the rest of my food was delicious. As far as pricing goes, expect to pay at least $20-24 for crabs with or without sides since this is the 305. read more

First things first... I'm in Miami with a group of friends for a bday trip and some of the girl's insisted on getting some seafood. So glad that we did! I got shrimp pasta and added steak and it was so FIRE! Really great flavors, pasta cooked great, and the meat was so tasty! I tried a little bit of everyone else's food and it was equally delicious. We tried their lemon cake and blue velvet cake and they were so moist, fluffy, and flavorful. They make their own juice also, kinda like kool aid and once we tried 1, we went back to grab some more. I ordered the lobster and shrimp combo with a side of Mac n Cheese and Corn on the cob. They give you an excellent portion of food for your money. The lobster was delicious and the shrimp as well. I like the idea of crab rice but they used imitation crab and I'm not a fan of imitation crab. I would have preferred they use real crab in their rice. The Mac n cheese is good it reminds me of how my makes it. The corn on cob is nothing to write home about. Anyway I would definitely order from them again. What a waste of $70+ for two small crab dinners with garlic potatoes and Mac n cheese and a side corn on the cob. First of all, the attitudes of the female employees is just despicable. It's like that nasty ghetto hood bih attitude that you wouldn't expect when going to spend money at their place of business. It's like they're doing the paying customer a favor they really didn't care to do in the first place. The "angry black woman" stereotypical rude attitude. It's f'n exhausting. Second, both plates the crabs were still cold as if they weren't cooked long enough. Who tf wants to eat half cold stringy stick to the shell crab meat? And for the "up charge" that they claim is due to "a crab shortage" The Mac and cheese was off too, very dry. The garlic potatoes were alright. The corn tasted like it was frozen Green Giant corn that was soggy and unappetizing. I would've called to inform them that the crab was still cold inside but decided against doing so in order to keep my peace and not have to deal with unprofessional ghetto messy attitudes. Meaning the main course with sides, so don't play yaself spending cheap. You have a lot of options such as snow crab, lobster, conch, and shrimp plus a variety of sides. I promise you, your biggest issue when coming here will be deciding on what to get. If you do feel like having two different seafoods they have that option. It's not a sit down restaurant more of a pick up and go place. It is a little pricey but you're having the best seafood of your life so it's worth it! I supported Crabman when he started out from his garage and a few times once he opened his location. I moved and just so happen to be in the area and decided to stop by. During my visit they were out of lobster and steak (understandable during these quarantine times) I decided on the shrimp with crab rice dinner. I was VERY disappointed...the shrimp was dry and apparently the crab in the rice is imitation crab. There is no mention anywhere they use imitation crab. The price for this meal should not be that of a price you'd pay for real crab.
