Yes, yes, 1000% yes. See, the only conch salads I'd ever eaten before now were from Chef Creole - vinegary with a kick, and inconsistent chunks of conch (sometimes smooth and perfect, other times gritty and inedible). Tropical Conch has made me realize what I'm supposed to expect, every time. Stopped in to the small building on a Wednesday, which was perfect as the $10 cup was half priced. 1 please! (Possibly two or three had I had some sort of refrigeration in my car). Parking is weird - there's a dedicated lot, but with the food trucks parked, you can't really squeeze in. Luckily I got a street spot right before three cars pulled in at the same time. It also shares a space with a nail salon, so there a bit of that smell but not enough to affect the separate kitchen area. The owner/chef/man in charge was super friendly and when I asked for extra spicy, chopped up a scotch bonnet right then and there. He had a steady stream of customers while I was there, so I know I'm not the only one who is in love with the coach salad here, which is proportionately packed with sour, spicy, salty, and a little sweetness from the pineapple slice. I ate it all in one sitting, wiping my nose every other bite because the spicy was so so good. No fuss, no frills, well priced, fresh and delicious conch salad. read more

One of my go to places for conch salad!! Absolutely delicious! It has a nice flavor and plenty of conch in the cup. Even though it's advertised as tropical conch, it really isn't and I love that. It had that one piece of pineapple on the top and that's it. I do not like those conch salads that has pineapple and even mango through out. Yuck. I love the simplicity of this. When you order the pack the cup with conch first and then pour the juice. So believe me when I tell you that you're getting your monies worth. Depending on how you like your conch salad, you may have to add a little seasoning or hot sauce but they have all the seasonings readily available. On Wednesday's, you can get the $10 cup for $5 or something like that. Or maybe it's a BOGO free. I just know it's something on Wednesday's and often times I send my mom to get it for me because of their hours vs my work schedule. If you've ever had the conch salad from Jazz in the Gardens or the youth fair, this is what you had. That's how I was introduced to them; at Jazz in the Gardens. Y'all, let me tell you that this place is the bomb!!!!! The day I purchased conch salad from this location, only moments before I was around the corner purchasing conch from another seafood restaurant. This conch wins! It was authentic, with the different citrus juices and peppers and large pieces of conch. I was in heaven. I ordered the $10 bowl and that was enough for me to have some the next day. If weren't living 3 states away, I would have ordered a jug of the conch salad because it was so good. Now, the location of this place is horrible, but that doesn't change my review. This place is a restaurant slash nail salon, so it was kind of weird, but that didn't stop my from placing my order, plus, the owner/chef was really nice. There aren't really many places to park, so if you come here you need to have a designated driver who can drop you off, circle the block and then come back to pick you up. I found this place (Tropical Conch) by word of mouth through Jackson Hospital employees. I kept seeing these empty white foam cups all over the place. So, I finally ask today, what are these white cups? The nurses all said gurlllll..... (popping the tongue and rolling of the eyes...yeah, just like that. No joke) this place on 12th Ave and 45th sells the best conch salad in all of Miami. I said, word.... so here I am. This place you will easily pass by because it's so unassuming. I've always wondered what is this building. The exterior is painted nice but clearly the building is dated. The Interior when you enter on 12th avenue (the east side) Will blow you away. Its not at all like you would imagine it to be. It is absolutely nice and clean and airy. This place is a 3in1. As it encompass an area where they do taxes, a nail station and an area where this "Miami Best" conch is housed. Yeah.... talking about a hookup. They got it going on. LOL...The prices for the conch salad; are $5, $10 and $20. I ask for the $10 cup. I handed him My $10 and off I went. The Taste. Amazing. Simply amazing. If this doesn't remind me of the Bahamas I don't know what else does. This is absolutely delicious. Extremely fresh, cold and just has a burst of flavors going on. Perfect blend of spices and fresh juices. If ever you're in this area and lover of Bahamian style conch salad, try this place. You won't regret it. I was in the neighborhood doing a Real Estate transaction and passed by and read Conch outside. I was hungry and figured this was the perfect spot to get a nice conch salad. I was pleasantly surprised indeed. Wednesdays they have the $10 cup for $5 so I was surely in luck. Very tasty conch with a mixture of citric juices and it was simply delicious with a lot of conch in it. When I opened the door I saw ladies getting the hair done and did a double take. The conch is at the rear left and everyone was friendly and corteous. Very tasty conch salad, good price and excellent treatmemt. What else can you ask for? Not fancy but great conch salad. A new twist to my favorite dishe, conch salad. This tropical conch salad is so fresh, so tender, so much conch and the juice had a mixture of flavor that I have never had before. It's a blend of bitter lime and sweet tropical, I love it. I also enjoy the Italian ice mixtures that are serve with a slice of pineapple on the side. WOW! Best conch salad I have ever had in my life. Was amazing. Wish it was a little more conch and less soupy but holy smokes that was the best conch Dallas I've ever had in my life. And the guy that runs this spot I like him too. He is a HUSTLER! Man was painting nails, answering the phone, making conch salad, like what can this man not do!? Was for sure a weird location to be buying conch slaked out of but it just goes to show sometimes those little hole in the wall places have the best hidden gems. Will be back for more! read more

I first tried Tropical Conch at the Fair. We looked up a list of the food contest winners and when we saw conch on there we had to give it a try. The conch salad and fritters were out of this freakin' world!! We loved them so much that I drove all the way from Kendall to get one of each today. The space is very tiny and parking is difficult (I suggest pulling into the side without the food truck). The entrance is in the back of the building by the truck. They share an open room with a nail salon which is funky but the chef and owner runs both which is amazing! He is soooo friendly and hospitable. Their conch isn't too chewy like most, but rather tender and flavorful. The fritter is one giant flattened fritter rather than a ball. Unlike your average conch fritter stuffed with bread to fill it, this is stuffed with almost all conch chunks and served with a delicious dipping sauce! I could eat these every day! Fritters are $3 each or 2 for $5 and the smallest size of the salad was $3. On Wednesdays you can get your conch salad half off! Guess I'll be back soon ;) read more

So i was at "The fair" this year and i was walking with my daughter & friends when i was just admiring my surroundings when the word "Conch" caught my eye!! & I LOVE CONCH SALAD! So it was a MUST to get some conch!.... I bought the conch & let me tell you it was the best conch salad I've ever taste (I explore conch salads in Miami). I got their card & noticed they have an actual spot, Crazy how it was so close to my area too!! I went there on a Wednesday & they knocked me off my foot when i heard the Wednesday specials!!
