I walked down the street I can smell the fish frying. A little info about this place, I frequented this location back 20 years ago, when my friend use to stay around the corner. We used to order minutas for those unfamiliar with the terminology it's a Spanish fried, boneless snapper sandwich. It's on a Cuban type burger roll, with onions and ketchup. I had them to add some lettuce and tomatoes. This sandwich is only $4 and with fries for $5.50, not a bad deal for something that is freshly cooked to order. I also ordered a Coca-Cola. When I bit, into my sandwich, can I say I was salivating, it was so perfectly seasoned and crunchy. The filet was very moist, adding the French fries completing the meal to a perfection. About this whole in the wall, it's been at this location for over thirty years. It's open everyday, except Sundays. On the weekends they sell a seafood type paella which literally sells out, so I recommend you come early. They also sell fresh seafood, (fish, shrimp, lobster, etc.) Hours: Monday thru Friday 8am-6pm Saturday 8am-3pm My favorites and highly recommended, Minuta sandwich fully loaded with fries and fish soup with either noodles or rice. Don't knock it, till you try it.
