I normally don't review fast food but it would be sinful not to review the delicious wings I had from this place. I came here with my sis cause she eats only Fish and swears by their fried pickles. Unfortunately they didn't have the pickles in this location so we opted for their orca side instead. But anyway, I first want to say the employees here are great and super patient. We were a bit slow at the ordering cause it was my first time and I was also ordering for my mom. No one rushed us and they were really nice. I think the girl who took my order was in training since she had a coworker help her with some parts. But she did great. On to the food. I got wings with fries and a slushy. The guy that was helping the girl made sure to let me know I could mix them and I ended up opting for that. Strawberry and I think blue raspberry or something. The slushy was good tbh and I would definitely get it again. As for the wings.... those wings. They are the reason I'm here. This is a damn fast food place. You think I'm reviewing the big Mac at a local McDonald's? No! But those wings. They need the respect. So here I am telling you that the wings at this place (lemon pepper fyi) are to die for. I ordered the 10 piece thinking I'll eat half later.. no I ate it all. I gobbled it all up. I ate it at home and I dropped a piece at one point so my orange cat (Charlie) ate that piece. Let me tell you. That cat knows good chicken. His eyes widened and I saw my little prissy mostly indoor cat become the feral animal that he is. I could not eat the rest of my wings without have an arm out fending against the wild beast. Charlie tasted the wonders of Snappers wings and can never look back. He ate his kibble later in disgust cause nothing beats those wings. The fries I won't lie they were whatever. They're fries. I'd rather eat McDonald's fries but then again McDonald's fries don't make me review them on yelp so... do what you will with that info. I got my mom the 10 piece tender not realizing theyre big. But it worked out. 1) my mom absolutely loved them and 2) my bro and his kids were visiting so they ended up eating some pieces. She was working at the cash register when I tell you this girl was drunk out of her mind it was 100% unacceptabl. I attempted to go to dinner to Snappers with my husband, my granddaughter and I friend. The restaurant was not full and 2 tables of 5 were readily available. The manager refused to sit us down as she claims those tables had to be specifically for a party of 5 there was also 2 tables of 2 available and she also refused to place them together to Make it a table of 4. I have never seen such poor guest service on a manager. We attempted to sit at the bar as we waited for a table of specifically 4 became available as there were tables of 4 with 2 and 3 guests at those tables of 4 not sure what the difference was with the table of 5. Obviously and this I understand we were not able to wait at the bar cause of my granddaughter. As I approached the manager again she said we would need to wait for the table of 4 or we could leave! I couldn't believe my ears when she said that and of course we left after that comment. As we left she was laughing with other staff most unprofessional manager award goes to her and I will never recommend this restaurant to anyone. We took our whole office to lunch here today. It was amazing. We had the chicken wings, snapper, talapia, small shrimp, jumbo shrimp, conch. The breading was delicious, the sauce was perfect. This particular Snappers (54 st/7 ave) is atrocious! I ordered the signature dish (Snapper), and just about barfed. The #1 comes with coleslaw; but, I had to go back to the counter to ask for it. (How many drive-thru customers get ripped-off; since they're not likely to return after discovering it missing.) The fish was rubbery and black. I had to pick thru it all to find any white meat. Although they have a refund guarantee, it requires returning the dish. I had picked thru so much that I figured they would not honor the "guarantee". Close it down... Close it down... You can never go wrong with good ol Snappers! I love this place. I ordered the snapper and shrimp platter. It came with 2 full snappers, 10 shrimps, and fries. You must get the lemon pepper seasoning on top cause it'll make it taste all the better. The snapper was fresh and the shrimp was seasoned perfectly. Both were fried to perfection! Today I had the opportunity to eat at Snappers Fish & Chicken for the first time.... wow, was it delicious! Everything from the shrimp, to the tilapia, to the conch was so fresh and so crisp. Their lemon pepper seasoning is absolutely to die for and the rice with peas was divine, as well! The owner, Aziz, was particularly attentive and helpful throughout our meal. This is my spot when I'm having a taste for some shrimp with pigeon peas and rice since I don't like the fries. The food is always fresh, you might have to wait a while for certain items but it's worth it. I finally tried the whole red snapper (alone $12.99) and it was delicious, has to ask for extra lemon salt because the fish don't have any season except that. I'd kind of stopped going to Snappers once Lemon Pepper came along. Not because of food quality but merely because of convenience. Lemon Pepper is super close to my house and had become a preference. Lately I've been driving that extra mile or so simply because Snappers has more to offer than just fries. I think that is what sets the two restaurants apart and will always keep Snappers relevant. While all that Lemon Pepper offers is fries, Snappers has greens, Mac and cheese, etc. With the lunch specials, Snappers even allows you to change the fries to peas and rice or yellow rice. I love that. Sometimes you just get tired of fries. A few times when I have gone to Lemon Pepper, I would ask them to hold the fries anyway because I just didn't want them. They're always soggy anyway even if you ask them to fry them hard. I mean it's not like they're McDonald's fries. I don't think I will ever get tired of McDonald's fries. Anywho, I think it merely just boils down to preference and what you have a taste for that day. Food wise, they are comparable. No one place seafood is better than the other to me. The custoner service was absolutely terrible! While in drive-thru the cashier got an attitude when I was trying to ensure the order was correct because it was a fairly large order (total of 6 meals). She basically started rushing me at this point, but after paying and waiting quite a long time, we got the food and two orders were completely missing. This was completely upsetting after they tried to rush me in the drive-thru for making sure they got our orders correct. I highly doubt I will ever come here again. Everytime I visit Miami, I make sure to visit this specific location, off the beaten path in Little Haiti. Granted there are other Snappers throughout Miami, this is the one that I prefer most, and have been coming to this place loyally my last 4 trips to Miami. I love the place so much, each time I bring different set of friends and introduce them to the place and they get hooked as well. Everytime I go, I always make sure to get me a #22 combo, which is the Wings & Shrimp combo. Added to that, I always get a jumbo Pina Colada Slush (Those things are addicting!). I don't know what it is about Snappers, but their fried wings and shrimp always taste awesome. It helps that they put that white powder on top of your food before closing up the white box they put the food in. One thing that I really like about Snappers is the amount of different condiments they give you. They know whom they're catering to, and as such, they know that folks who love wings and seafood certainly enjoy adding the various condiments they provide with their meals. I always make sure that when I go, I always order myself a to-go combo of the same, so I can heat up late night when I get the munchies LOL. This last time we went to Miami, we did so over Memorial Day Weekend, and so, while we were fortunate enough to have enjoyed the wing combo, we weren't as fortunate the day after Memorial Day LOL... Apparently over the holiday weekend so many people flocked to the place that they ran out of chicken wings. No biggie, we were in town for a few extra days, so I made sure that I was able to go back the day prior to leaving before enjoying another #22 combo. Anyone visiting Miami definitely needs to give this place a try. I visit this location today and purchase lunch for myself and a coworker... We both agreed the chicken was not fresh, the fries were soggy and there was no lemon pepper which I asked to make sure it was on all the food. Why is food being served at 12:30p.m. not fresh???? I will not be returning to this location again.... UNSAFE: It looked great and I am sure it is good! but beware if you have a shellfish allergy and like to eat fish.
