The staff was so amazing and helpful, I'm new to Haitian cuisine so I had an inordinate amount of questions about every menu item our server was super patient and detailed. I tried the squash & beef soup which was delicious and huge...I had to share it with 2 of my friends so I could keep some space for the main course : fried goat & Jon Jon rice. The rice is black and made with peas and some kind of mushrooms - the serving size is huge and it has a unique flavor. The goat was more tender than I expected for a fried meat but was still a bit dry and also a tad salty for my taste. A friend who was with me had the fried turkey which I preferred. Upon entering my cousin and I were greeted by the lovely Michou who was very patient explaining the menu and alternate options to replace my rice. There do not have neutral gender bathrooms however the ones that were provided were sparking clean. I ordered the fried snapper and fried turkey. The snapper was so good; it has just the right amount of crunch and and spices to sweeten your tongue. Instead of rice iI asked for more plantain and a salad. The salad was super fresh and just the right serving size. The turkey Tasso was everything; it was flavorful and juicy not dry. There was a refrigerator that contained a variety of beverages from water to fruit champagne soda; I got the pineapple soda and the watermelon. I preferred the pineapple soda. Two thumbs up Chex Nous! I will definitely be back.

Shoutout to Dave, who took care of us. He gave excellent recommendations, and provided great service.
