Small but delicious, it's a family run business but they put a lot of love and dedication into their products

Best spot for haitian food! I was in North Miami waiting on my mechanic and decided to look for…read moresomewhere to eat. I google haitian places nearby and saw this one, when I got to the location it was a little hard to find because there's no sign with the name of the restaurant but once you turn into the parking lot you'll see it written on one of the windows. I got there at 11am, because that's when Google said they would open, but I got there and saw the opening time is actually 11:30. Luckily, we pulled up at the same time as the owner and she welcomed us in allowing us to order, which was very kind of her. We were the only people there so it wasn't noisy or busy. Throughout the process of ordering she was patient and attentive which I appreciated, customer service was definitely a 10/10. I ordered turkey with white rice and beans and plantain and when I tell you it was amazing.. I mean it! I also got another plate of grilled chicken with rice and plantain which was also delicious. The chicken was seasoned well and flavorful and the rice was good too. I come from two Haitian parents and this is the only place I've tried that has come close to resembling my mom's cooking. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area, or if you want to try Haitian food for the first time and want a good first impression.

Food: 6/10 for the wings and 10000/10 for the plantains. Everything was hot and fresh. The wings are crispy on the outside and so tender on the inside. However, they were very salty so it was a little hard to enjoy. I would still go back and try again and maybe let them know. Service: 8/10 It was ok. I was in and out within 20 minutes. Considering it was an early Saturday afternoon, I actually expected it to be a little bit more busy but I'm definitely not complaining. Ambiance: 0/10 They could definitely work on decor and comfortability. There are no decorations. The restaurant is not air-conditioned so I was very hot while waiting for my food. They had one of those giant orange industrial fans blowing some air but that looked pretty tacky. I didn't get to take a picture of the fan. There aren't enough chairs for people to sit while they wait for their food. They don't have tables. They are a take-out restaurant, you cannot dine in. I thought they would've changed some things around during the last few years considering it's been 10 years since I've known about them. Overall, they have a lot more dishes that I would like to go back and try. But I've always been a fan of their wings and plantains. Could definitely keep this as a quick local joint to grab some fast Haitian food.
