I ordered a PC in December 2022 to be built from this guy when he had his shop on 99. I know he was attacked and it messed his business up but I gave him a year to refund me and it's been a year and eight months and he still hasn't given me my last $500 even though he said he would do so since the beginning of 2024. I believe I have been patient enough so I am now going to leave a one star review for this shop to let people know that he ripped me off. To make things worse he even asked me to "borrow" $300 in January. So I'm glad I didn't loan him that either or else I'd be out another $300. Edit: you paid me interest that was agreed-upon for holding onto my money for so long. Had I done a simple chargeback that money would've gone back into my bitcoin account. I lost thousands of dollars by letting you hold onto my money. Then you asked me borrow $300 this January when we discussed the last $500. So if you're saying you can't afford to pay me the $500 now, how would you have afforded to pay me back the $300 you asked to borrow? I didn't feel comfortable loaning you that $300 because you still owed me $500. Now you're trying to spin it to make me look greedy when it seems more like you're now not going to pay me the $500 you owe me because I didn't loan you $300 more. Not to mention I had to chase you down and text you repeatedly to get you to refund me. Which is why you started paying me extra. Every time I wanted payment in full you offered me $500 so you could hold onto my money for another six months. So don't act like you did me the favor here. This is not me asking you for extra money. This is money you agreed to pay me in January. You said you would pay me $250 on August 17, then again on August 30th. I will revisit this review if you pay me as you said you would. read more

I panicked when my laptops cooling fan went out. I had just had surgery and couldn't drive yet. I had my dell laptop crashed four months ago. Last week finally I got time to browse over yelp to find a good vendor to diagnose and give a fair estimate. I gave it to Chris, CE computer repair and he did a honest job Took 15 minutes to diagnose my laptop and figured out hard drive is crashed (which I guessed when I did my own diagnosis) and need to be replaced He has a display board in his store which has price for all types of computer repair work in which hard drive replacement costs $120 with whatever os installation you need to do. I ordered the needed hard drive from amazon and after two days gave it to him for replacement . He did the work in 4 hours with os installation. Now my laptop is in perfectly good condition. He said he'd be there. When I arrived after a 20-minute drive, there was no one there. I called his number from the porch (the business is in a home), and it went to voice mail. He said sounds good, see you then. I show up the next day about the same time of day (4:30pm). Walk up to the door with computer in hand, the door is locked and there's no answer. Look through a window and no one is there. Try calling him and phone goes straight to voicemail. I waited 5 minutes then decided to find another business. All my components worked together but it wasn't loading windows, but I thought it was the BIOS, but wasn't sure and resigned to take it to someone.
