Quick, professional, fair pricing, really zero issues. My computer was overheating, and now it's not. Would recommend.

If you're looking for the type of experience you'd get from a big box store (established customer service, a storefront, etcetera...) then this business isn't for you. However, if you value a highly skilled tech, exceptional responsiveness, and a surprisingly fast turnaround then this place is for you. 10/10 will be going to King County PC Repair again. read more

So helpful and knowledgeable. Quick to respond, professional, and quick turn around too.

Great pricing, very fast service (same day) to replace macbook screen. Saved a $1000 laptop for a fraction of the price

Great service! Michael has done two repairs for me and each time the response and repair time has been very quick, many services are offered, and the price is fair. Highly reccomend. read more

Excellent service. Good communications. The first was within moments of drop-off. Nothing could have gone faster, except deliveries from outside vendors. Acquiring parts, now. Given a vintage laptop, that was a short run model anyway, is tough. He was helpful in providing likely spare parts providers, and quite fast at that. He was also spot-on to start with a $7 part. It cost a couple of days, but it proved I had a dreaded mother board problem. Old motherboard vs. 'newer case'...? I chose an eBay "open box" laptop. He quickly data downloaded to the hard SSD drive I provided, and uploaded all of that data to the 'new to me' laptop. I am operational after logging on a few places, and entering passwords. Any and all of my issues are about the delay in acquiring parts, and for having such a niche laptop. One part I could have boomeranged in 90 min., the eBay lap top in one day, but neither place allowed in-person pick up. Uff da read more

Thank You!!! .....I say that to start off with because Michael Higbee was very professional. Quick to respond and quick to solve the problem. He even SAVED ME MONEY... gave me the link to the computer that I have to save me money...Honestly who doesn't love that!!?? He could have did the opposite I would have never known. That customer service is a rare service these days and in this economy. I will definitely be back and refer any one I know who is looking for someone reliable, Honest computer care..because we ALL do love our computers when we need them no matter how old or new! read more

King County PC Repair - my get it done ‍ . - IT Services & Computer Repair Near Me - Seattle, Washington

There aren't a lot of recent reviews out there for Computer Repair businesses in West Seattle, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was really happy about Mike's excellent service. He responds very promptly via text and got my work laptop up and running again in just a few hours. Cost is reasonable. He isn't too pushy about upgrades. I would 100% recommend Mike. Tech can be finicky, even in this current day and age, but Mike's got your back. We're very lucky to have him here on the Westside! read more

Excellent service, completed my laptop repair quickly, and at a fair price. I would highly recommend King County Repair

Mike was terrific. He texted me back within 10 minutes and then called to clarify what sort of service I was looking for. He was honest with me--told me straight up that the data I'd lost was irretrievable. And he was very kind and very sympathetic. I will definitely call on him should I have other computer issues in the future. read more

My 3-year-old Dell laptop was overheating and the fan would intermittently spin up so loud that folks on the other end of virtual meetings said it sounded like a jet engine. Michael diagnosed the failing fan within minutes of me dropping it off to him, and sent me a link to order a replacement. I had the new fan sent to him and he replaced it as soon as it arrived. Only the delayed shipping of the fan took some time; everything Michael did was fast, informative, and affordable ($100 + the cost of the fan). I would definitely use Michael again. Thank you, Michael! read more

I thought the service was exceptional and I will recommend to all my friend. I feel they're more honest and up front and service costs are very reasonable. read more

I'm happy to write another rave review for King County PC Repair. My laptop was acting strange - it was deleting whatever I was writing (including gmail, Word docs, etc.). I called Mike, and he suggested that I try cleaning the backspace key before we do something more extensive like replacing the keyboard and/or the motherboard. Well, his suggestion worked like a charm! I cleaned the backspace key, and voila! - everything is fine now. Resolved with a quick, free call. THANK YOU, Mike. (Note: He's also great with major repairs, of course - and his rates are reasonable.) read more

Very fast turnaround, less than 20 minutes to fix my laptop DC port. No nonsense, very reasonable pricing, kept me updated on his progress via text. Highly recommend! read more

Mike works super fast and has really affordable pricing. He works out of his home so he's available at all hours, which was great since I work during the day. Work was completed without error and he was up front about making sure he could do the work before charging for anything. Nice to support someone's small business AND get a great deal. I'll definitely go back next time I need a repair. read more

I can't say enough good things about KCPR. Michael really knows what he's talking about and his customer service is phenomenal. I corresponded with him via Yelp for two weeks while I was comparing quotes and he was always communicative (avg response time was 15 minutes) and patient. His quote never changed and when I told him that another repair shop said I needed a new hard drive and quoted me X price for the part, Michael immediately priced out cheaper options. I went with my gut and went with KCPR and I'm so glad I did. I dropped off my laptop and 15 minutes later he messaged to let me know that I didn't actually need a new hard drive and that my laptop would be ready in an hour. This is incredible considering I waited seven days for a diagnostic from another repair shop AND they were going to charge me for a part I never needed. To add, Michael's quote was 75% below the other shop. He continued to answer any questions I had even after he fixed my laptop and a small detail I noticed - when I picked up my laptop from the place I had the initial diagnostic done I noticed a lot of smudges and debris (not a big deal but just made note that I needed to buy screen cleaner) but when I picked it up from Michael, he had cleaned my screen. Just a small detail, but shows his customer care. KCPR is the hands down the best at being honest, transparent, fast, friendly, professional, and laid back (he can work around your schedule)! Highly recommend - I won't go to anyone else! read more

Quick assessment, quick fix, fully transparent towards customer and all of the options available!

Saw how high the ratings were at King County PC Repair today so I contacted Michael and he responded with minutes. I was absolutely amazed by the turnaround time. With less than 2 hours he fixed my mom's laptop. I had a similar repair before and it took over a week. Michael also sent me text updates on his progress very often which was incredibly helpful and reassuring. He was transparent with the pricing and made sure I was okay with the price before he proceeded with repairs. He truly goes above and beyond throughout the process. I now have a new go-to business for my PC support. Thanks, Michael! read more

Awesome service. Fast, efficient and affordable! Would definitely use Mike again for any future repairs!

Mike is great! Computer repaired in no time at all. Completely up front about all aspects of repair and cost. Willing to work with his customers needs and schedules. I have found my new computer tech. I will be using him from now on. I would not hesitate to send anyone to him. read more

I'm happy to recommend this small business. I spilled water on my laptop and needed a new keyboard. Michael diagnosed the issue, recommended replacement parts, suggested a place to pick up a temporary low-cost external keyboard, and then installed my new keyboard in the laptop. All for a fraction of the cost of a new laptop. Michael is knowledgeable and customer focused. He works out of his house in West Seattle, but it's convenient to those of us coming over the bridge. Super fast response. Arrived on time and was able to fix computer. Breath of fresh air after last experience with local pc repair facility that tried to push multiple "clean up and firewall" products and charged double Michaels price read more

Michael did a good job in recovering my music files from my old computer. Faster than the time he estimated.

My laptop received a bad Windows 10 auto-update that messed up various drivers, including the sound. Over 5 days, I spent 12+ hours with Microsoft Customer Support and they were not able fix the problem. Did a google search for West Seattle computer repair and decided to give Michael a try. Michael was able to quickly fix my laptop in under two hours. What an easy process. Highly recommended. read more

Mike is amazing! Very affordable and works quickly. I was able to bring my laptop to him after I got off work (after 5 pm!) and throughout the process, he gave me frequent and informative updates on where he was in the repair process. Definitely will be returning to him with any other future computer needs. read more

Excellent service! Mike was super knowledgeable, patient, and excellent at explaining exactly what was wrong, how he fixed it, and any future work I might want to consider but was not necessarily needed. Specifically, one of the M.2 ports was busted on my laptop, but since I had a second one that was unused, he said that I could get the port repaired, but since I had an extra one that was working properly, there wasn't a large need to fix the broken port. Mike listened well, thoroughly explained what the issue was, how he fixed it (because I asked), and has fair prices. I will not hesitate to go back to him or recommend him to others. Mike did excellent work and had my laptop back to me within a few hours (as I had expressed the need to have it back quickly if possible). read more

Contacted him via text regarding a cracked screen on my laptop 2-in-1 that was causing confusion for the touch-screen (it kept detecting I was pressing the screen, when I wasn't, making the mouse go crazy). He responded right away to clarify, provided a rough quote, but also gave me a suggestion to fix the problem without having to spend the $$--something I could do on my own, for free. Although he didn't make any money out of the deal, he's definitely earned a fan and a return customer, next time I face a computer problem! read more

Michael did a great job on repairing my computer and he was extremely quick! He was communicative, giving me various options as well. I've used other commercial shops in the past but as Michael is a small business owner he tailored his approach, which was refreshing read more

Michael was great. Came to my place on time and got what seemed like an amazing amount done in the 2 hours he was here. I felt comfortable with him in my home and he was helpful in helping me get my computer issues fixed while also willing to explain things as they were going on to give me some insight. Possibly the best part is how willing he is to help over the phone for quick things here and there for the little stuff that isn't worth a full visit. I can see myself coming back to Michael for any future computer troubles. read more
