Curry goat with rice and peas
    Love P.

Got there late at night and I'mI'm on my way home from the JFK and was craving Caribbean flavors. This place was open and although they were short on variety, the curry goat with rice and peas was speaking to me. I got it to go and got home and it was fantastic.

Large curry goat with Rasta pasta and rice and peas

Excited to pass by a Jamaican spot that I haven't tried. I was so excited to see patties when I walked it but forgot to order it as soon saw I saw curry goat. I got a large and it was $17 + tax. I got mines with Rasta pasta and it was creamy. The curry goat was pretty good. The rice and peas were a bit of a disappointment, although my family loved it. I added sauce on top and it probably overpowered the coconut flavor in the rice. The beans were also too small and I didn't get the texture. The service was fast. The restaurant had booth tables, but most people take their food to-go.

    Chicken patty

It's so crazy how hard it is to find a Jamaican patty in the heart of Flatbush Brooklyn now a days! Before, there were so many places to go that would have them. Now, it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack, which is so troublesome for the neighborhood. That really indicates the level of change this area has gone through in the last couple years. Insane!!! Nevertheless, i was walking around searching for something to eat on my lunch break, and i really wanted a patty. It seems as if nothing in this area is affordable anymore. Thankfully, as i was walking i noticed CC's Jamaican restaurant. I've walked by this place a million times, and it's always packed. So in my quest of looking for a patty, i decided to go in and see if they had! They did!! Score!! Walking in the ambiance was good. They greeted you upon entry, told me where to go to order, they had the radio playing 90s R&B, hip hop and reggae. There's multiple booths for people to sit and enjoy their meals. As i was directed where to go to order, the cashier was very nice and welcoming. I asked if they had what i wanted, they did! Finally!!! I was able to find a patty by Flatbush junction! I ordered a chicken patty, (they didn't have coco bread :(), but i got the patty. It was $3.50. A quick, delicious lunch for under $5. Definitely a score! I'll go back cuz their hot food section looked and smelled amazing. Unfortunately i didn't get photos of the inside. And i almost finished the patty before realizing i have to take a pic. I think the patty is curry chicken. It's delicious, flaky, taste homemade, and the filling has a bit of a kick to it. All in all, pretty good. See pics below

Medium Jerk Chicken and Peas & Rice

I ordered some lunch from CCs off Doordash the other day. I got the Medium Jerk Chicken, rice, and peas and for the veggie I picked cucumbers. On DoorDash, I felt the vegetable selection was quite odd. There was a selection of either, lettuce, tomato, or cucumber. I would think they would come together as a salad. I went and chose cucumber. When my food arrived it was sealed fine and had no spillage. There was a fork and knife with my jerk sauce & bbq sauce on the side. There was something wrapped in foil and upon opening it, it was my side of cucumber. There were only two pieces. On to the food. The peas and rice were really good and flavorful. The rice wasn't soggy as well. The chicken was good despite not having sauce but the jerk sauce did give it that added spunk that was needed. The portion size was perfect for a medium and it was a good meal despite the two cucumbers. I would suggest updating the vegetable options to balance out the meal. In all, I would see myself ordering from here again!

Great food ,big portions . Authentic as it gets . This place is clean and nicely kept ,plenty of choices like Curry goat ,oxtail ,Jerk chicken ,Jerk Pork. There Mac and cheese looked awesome but it was sold out as I approached the counter .I traveled all the way from Staten Island to this place ,cause I know if you want good Jamaican food you got to go to my old neighborhood on Flatbush .

It was sort of an odd time so the spacious restaurant wasn't very busy. We studied the menu for too long and after much deliberation, here's what we ordered, in order of spice level: - Oxtail ($35): Not spicy, super flavorful, "Trimmed and sliced chunks of oxtail seasoned freely with fresh spices and simmered to tender perfection." - Curry goat ($29): Mildly spicy, "Goat meat marinated and cooked in curry spices and herbs makes this an exotic dish." - Jerk chicken ($20): Apparently incredibly spicy so I steered clear of it, "A Jamaican delight. Spicy, delicious chicken baked with this unique combination of spices from the island." The dishes I could handle were excellent, with no drop of sauce left unmopped. On the sides front, the rice and beans, roti, steamed vegetables, and plantains were all tasty. The entree sizes were hearty. Our server seemed like a cool dude: easygoing with a sense of humor. It was kind of chilly in the restaurant, not sure if we were in a warmth dead zone or what. The bathroom was frog-themed which was a cute touch!

Very island spiced and cooked well - Goat was also really strong - Reasonable prices - service with personality What's to jeer - they were out of the jerk chicken unfortunately which I really wanted to try - place is pretty low key and not swimming with ambience

I discovered Kokomo because I knew I wanted our wedding celebration to be in Williamsburg -- a neighborhood that holds so many memories for me growing up in the Bronx and exploring the city as a kid. We flew in from Los Angeles and truly made it a full wedding week experience. I planned the wedding myself, so I had been communicating with Joel for months leading up to the event. We reserved the Champagne Room, which felt like its own beautiful oasis. As a Jamaican-American woman, it meant so much to know my disabled mother would feel culturally comfortable, welcomed, and safe in the space and with the food. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and calming. Our server especially helped ease my nerves while we were finalizing seating and guest details, and after that, I genuinely did not have to worry about a thing. And the food? Absolutely incredible. Truly perfection. As a vegan, it meant so much to fully enjoy every part of my wedding meal without compromise. The rum punch was fantastic, our guests loved the open bar package, and the entire evening flowed so seamlessly. The aesthetic is pure island luxury -- elevated, warm, vibrant, and beautiful. The communication from the owners and management team was excellent throughout the entire process, and I even had the chance to finally meet Joel at the end of the night after months of planning together, which was such a lovely touch. I was also able to personally thank the chefs. We even accidentally left my bouquet behind, and the team kindly helped us retrieve it the next day. Kokomo NYC is officially a staple in our family now. I already know we will celebrate future milestones there and visit often whenever we are back in New York. It makes me proud to support a Black Caribbean-owned business that creates such meaningful experiences with so much care and excellence.
