Went to Cc's Jamaican restaurant in Flatbush, Brooklyn NYC. Curry goat, curry chicken, rice and peas, macaroni salad, coleslaw slaw and fruit punch. Fruit lunch was loaded with fresh ginger. Wowza!!!! Really enjoyed the curried meat. Staff and customers very nice. Music is loud. Cash or credit same price. Long line to order but moved quickly. Grab a seat if dining in first. Was really craving oxtail for lunch and decided to order from CC's Jamaican Restaurant. We ordered the oxtail, curry goat, and stew chicken, plus the fruit punch and pineapple ginger. Everything came packaged nicely, though a bit of oil from the curry goat did leak out. The oxtail was the standout. Super tender and falling right off the bone, and the gravy soaked into the rice and peas perfectly. The curry goat was rich and flavorful, with a subtle coconut note that added depth without being overpowering. The fruit punch was way more ginger forward than I expected. It definitely surprised me at first, but once I got used to it, I kept reaching for more. Overall, CC's Jamaican Restaurant really hit the spot. I just wish their online menu had more options, because I would absolutely order again and try more dishes. read more

I came by here with my family back in November '25. We just were getting some takeout for lunch while we were preparing for my grandmother's repass. The food was too good. As a Jamaican and a lover of curry goat, I always judge a Jamaican spot based on whether or not their goat is good and listennnnn. It did not disappoint. Excited to pass by a Jamaican spot that I haven't tried. I was so excited to see patties when I walked it but forgot to order it as soon saw I saw curry goat. I got a large and it was $17 + tax. I got mines with Rasta pasta and it was creamy. The curry goat was pretty good. The rice and peas were a bit of a disappointment, although my family loved it. I added sauce on top and it probably overpowered the coconut flavor in the rice. The beans were also too small and I didn't get the texture. The service was fast. It's so crazy how hard it is to find a Jamaican patty in the heart of Flatbush Brooklyn now a days! Before, there were so many places to go that would have them. Now, it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack, which is so troublesome for the neighborhood. That really indicates the level of change this area has gone through in the last couple years. Insane!!! Nevertheless, i was walking around searching for something to eat on my lunch break, and i really wanted a patty. It seems as if nothing in this area is affordable anymore. Thankfully, as i was walking i noticed CC's Jamaican restaurant. I've walked by this place a million times, and it's always packed. So in my quest of looking for a patty, i decided to go in and see if they had! They did!! Score!! Walking in the ambiance was good. They greeted you upon entry, told me where to go to order, they had the radio playing 90s R&B, hip hop and reggae. There's multiple booths for people to sit and enjoy their meals. As i was directed where to go to order, the cashier was very nice and welcoming. I asked if they had what i wanted, they did! Finally!!! I was able to find a patty by Flatbush junction! I ordered a chicken patty, (they didn't have coco bread :(), but i got the patty. It was $3.50. A quick, delicious lunch for under $5. Definitely a score! I'll go back cuz their hot food section looked and smelled amazing. Unfortunately i didn't get photos of the inside. And i almost finished the patty before realizing i have to take a pic. I think the patty is curry chicken. It's delicious, flaky, taste homemade, and the filling has a bit of a kick to it. All in all, pretty good. See pics below read more

First the food is overprice and the oxtail was mainly fat/ bones. The food was tasty. I order a large plate for $24. It's is crazy that a medium plate is $20, which is a $4 different. This was my first and last time spending my money here. I can get my money worth someplace else. I wouldn't suggest doing business with them to anyone. read more

I ordered some lunch from CCs off Doordash the other day. I got the Medium Jerk Chicken, rice, and peas and for the veggie I picked cucumbers. On DoorDash, I felt the vegetable selection was quite odd. There was a selection of either, lettuce, tomato, or cucumber. I would think they would come together as a salad. I went and chose cucumber. When my food arrived it was sealed fine and had no spillage. There was a fork and knife with my jerk sauce & bbq sauce on the side. There was something wrapped in foil and upon opening it, it was my side of cucumber. There were only two pieces. On to the food. The peas and rice were really good and flavorful. The rice wasn't soggy as well. The chicken was good despite not having sauce but the jerk sauce did give it that added spunk that was needed. The portion size was perfect for a medium and it was a good meal despite the two cucumbers. I would suggest updating the vegetable options to balance out the meal. In all, I would see myself ordering from here again! read more

The food and the service is phenomenal here! The food is amazing! We had the curry chicken, jerk chicken, salmon, mac and cheese, plantains, cabbage, rice and peas, sour soup juice and ginger and pineapple juice. No complaints! Food is average. I usually only buy the jerk chicken. When I tried the jerk pork it's not to desire and won't order again because it's cold , dry and over done . But the most unpleasant thing about this restaurant is the rude unpleasant attitude of some of the workers . I would ask for something and they would role their eyes and not give you what you ask for . Management or owner need to train it's workers on hospitality and business etiquette if they want to gain more business from the general public. Ambiance is what you'll expect from a neighborhood takeout of this standard. I would love to see our race and people successful in their business endeavors with that being said hope they can take constructive criticism which is really meant to make your business better and fix existing problems . read more

Their breakfast Kidney and callaloo were horrible. The kidney wasn't cooked throughly, and the callaloo was very salty. The server didn't apologize but rather told me that I was the only one to have complained about their food, of course, because I was the only costumer that sat to eat. read more

My aunt told me about this place so came here for a quick dinner. We ordered takeout and got the medium oxtail and medium jerk chicken. The oxtail literally melted in your mouth and was cooked to the point where the meat literally fell off the bone (we love that). The jerk chicken was well seasoned and the tangy sauce added was *chefs kiss* Normally, rice and peas aren't always my go-to bc usually the rice tends to be dry. But this was rice was not only seasoned well but I literally would have been fine eating it on its own. We also ordered the peppered shrimp which was okay but not too spicy like I'm used to. I just ate sweet chili wings with rice, peas, gravy, mac salad, and carrot juice. The wings were great - sweet and a bit spicy. Rice and peas were good, and the gravy made it better. I also called to ask for oxtail gravy for my rice along with sauce for the chicken and they put everything I asked for. CC's really hit the spot. Just moved to the neighborhood and this was our first takeout meal. I had the medium brown stew chicken and my fiancé had the medium jerk chicken with oxtail gravy. Definitely rivals Fisherman's Cove. We weren't a fan of the Mac and cheese but the beef patties were good. Great price and huge portion sizes. There are seats in the store but it's a bit tight. The food, is great I use to go to other restaurants in the neighborhood now I'm a regular here on days I choose not to cook, on days my family isn't cooking or even a long day at work this place definitely will fill your soul with satisfaction and joy. I am very picky and particular where I choose to eat out at or who I choose to eat from but here I am , I gave them one shot and I have been a dedicated customer along with my family and friends ever since the 1st try. The ambiance, is decent but overall the food is great I've never had a bad experience with the exception of 1 very short lady who works the counter/cashier very bad attitude. So glad I walked a bit to get to CC's for lunch. Folks were very nice and my lunch was amazing. I love jerk chicken and the flavor of it here was nicely smoked and spiced. The chicken was also tender and well cooked. The plantains were also on point. Same with the rice and beans which had a hint of coconut. I was glad CC's recommended I get oxtail sauce on the rice. Nice. The music here, a reggae radio station toasting over hip hop bangers, also made lunch delightful. read more

It was my first time trying food from this restaurant. I decided to order delivery from doordash. Was craving Jamaican food, and they did not disappoint! I had the jerk pork, rice & peas, plaintains, macaroni salad and fruit punch. Everything was delicious! Every. single. thing! I was pleasantly surprised, even the side of plantains were cooked well-each one was perfectly ripe and soft. Let's have a moment of silence for the fruit punch that I just finished. It was magical. Yes, it was that good! Wow. Extra points for providing extra sauce on the side as requested in my order notes, packaging the food well AND putting a smiley face with an "Enjoy" message on the bag- great personal touch and very much appreciated! I devoured my food too quickly for a photo, but I do have the bag as evidence lol. I will definitely order again from here and plan to try more items from their menu. read more

I think it's about time to review this place. I gave this place a try through Ubereats and I kept going back! The oxtails and jerk chicken are my go to hands down the best! I did a pick up once and the place is small and "fast food like" service. People were nice and place was clean. Yes it is a bit pricey but I do not order it often, maybe once a month or so. I've tried their fried chicken, it is good but sometimes it's too salty for me. So far it is my only place to go for when i want jerk chicken/oxtails. You guys have my business!! read more
