Update! Seattle's CC Attle's will be reopening on Capitol Hill sometime in June. I guess they had major delays with the city issuing permits for them to move forward with the construction of the interior of the space. I just hope they still get to reopen! read more

CC's is one of my very favorite hang-outs and I go there quite often. Lots of room for socializing or playing a game. People who hang there tend to be really friendly and welcoming. The drinks and food are reasonably priced and they have great bar food. And there's the staff. There is a person or two that isn't always friendly (who can always be friendly in a fast paced service job?) but most of the staff is great. Marcus is one of my favorite bartenders in this city. Mikey is always a sweetheart. And you've also got Toby and Bubba on security. Nice guys and always helpful. If you frequent CC's, the staff all remember your name after a little while too. What an awesome place to come and get your drink on! Generous portions (for both food and drink), quick and super friendly service, and at uber low prices! The bar isn't that big, but don't let that fool you. It's warm atmosphere, friendly folk, and great music video collection will change your idea of the 'tiny bar' concept. The burgers are delicious and so are most of the regular crowd. read more

How're you gonna only have one bartender and not only that, serve one half of the bar while ignoring the other half? I sat there for 10-15 minutes and was not served or acknowledged by the bartender. Like everyone says: cheap stiff drinks! Long Island was $7 and tasted fine (the liquor came premixed from a bottle). Wouldn't recommend the Tokyo tea as it tastes like cough syrup. Still a great place to pregame and start the night. Crowd is on the older side, but everyone is welcomed. What makes this place 5 stars is the staff, especially the security. There was a peeper in the bathroom who stood in front of the low toilet door, looking directly at me as I used the toilet. He rushed out before I washed my hands. I warned the security person and he was very responsive. He immediately shared the info with other staff and they kept an eye out for the creep. I have been to all gay bars in Seattle. I would have to say that CCS is one of my favorites. They happy hour and drinks are really good and inexpensive. I come here to pregame before I head to the eagle or Madison pub or r place. . Overall good quality bar. I recommend it only if you are starting off your night. Clementine-Related World Records aka someone neither Chris nor I will likely and hopefully never ever see again. However, The Good Lord aka Jesus Christ Our Savior has definitely thrown me some screwy curveballs over the years. I am sorry but I cannot answer that question for Christopher. What I do know is we were at this chuckle fest party in Chicago for the Oscars or Tonys or Teen Choice Awards or just to celebrate Cher or Madonna or some other gay thing the gays all say 'YES! we need to throw a party for this specific event or person or dance craze or it is absolutely necessary to show off a welcomed new addition to life like a fashionable yet functional dust ruffle or a really sweet crown molding job well done hopefully with the carpenters--meaning the steaming hot men who installed said molding not the 1970's dynamic vocal powerhouse, although if they showed up at my party I'd let them in BUT! to sing only as it's not a soup kitchen here The Carpenters! while in seattle, one should visit this capitol hill staple (so i hear). went here with a friend and his boyfriend, who were regulars (well, used to be) and a second night alone. pretty cool joint with two bars and nearly two different atmospheres. while the decor and videos could certainly use an update, the folks were friendly and the service was good. their food was pretty good, and the portions were huge (as were the prices) but you could easily share one of their run-of-the-mill bar snackish menu items. i would definitely recommend this place for a solo traveler who likes local bars. cheers! read more

I come here every now and then. I was here last night for a bit and the drinks are still really strong. The food was better than most bar food places. It's usually pretty quick to get drinks here even when they are busy. Bartenders are friendly. The crowd is mostly older men but with a splash of younger men. It's a great place to watch the Seahawks game as well. read more

OUCH! I rarely go to out to Cappy Hill gay bars, but every now and then I do love escaping my boring neighborhood for a low key, welcoming gay bar. Something Seattle needs more of... personally, I'm not into the crazy bars with piercing music and condescending vibes. So tonight I was inspired and I decided I would take the bus from my neighborhood and check out two bars on the hill. A low key gay pub I've been to a few times before, and CC Attle's. I had one drink at the Pub and chatted it up with a ton of guys! People were happy, flirty, and real. I should have stayed and met more people, but I wanted to check out C.C. Attle's. I'd been there once before, and thought it was pretty nice. I finished my one (1) whiskey at the Pub, grabbed a burger, and hoofed it to C. C. Attle's. Welp, Yelp, I never made it inside, as I was accused -- by the bouncer -- of stumbling up and vomiting outside their establishment. He said he could tell because I was "wiping puke off my face." Nice. That's never happened to me before, and I don't understand. I was/am upset, because I've never been cut-off or denied entrance anywhere, ever. Yeah, I've been drunk a few times in my life, but tonight I was completely sober (except for the one (1) whiskey). I discussed my frustration with the bouncer, who was calm and cool, which I respect. He then admitted that he may have made the wrong call, but that he still couldn't change his stance. What?! Maybe I should have asked to speak with a manager, but I was utterly speechless, so I just left, completely embarrassed. It only matters because I rarely go out to gay bars and there're only a few gay bars on the hill that I want to go to. I have never felt so out of place in my entire life. I usually love going to gay bars because everyone is so friendly and just wants to have a good time - there is no gay or straight, just people having fun. The night that I came, I was the only woman and I definitely had some glares directed at me. All I wanted to do was play a game of pool and have a beer, but it was so crowded and full of bad vibes. Even if I did not feel this way, this would probably not be a place that I would frequent. It was dingy, divey, and sweatier than a sauna. I have never seen so many old, out-of-shape, shirtless men in one setting. Yikes. It doesn't matter your age, race, sexual orientation, whatever - I don't want to see you half-naked in a place where I eat and drink, just like others don't want to see me half naked. If I wanted to see naked people I would go to an actual nightclub or strip club where I know what I am getting myself into. Awkward. read more

I get the idea that it's supposed to be rustic or "under construction" in design and butch and all that...but no, it just comes across as incredibly ugly and unfinished. Fun place to hang and great drinks but.....Need to stop telling customers that frequent the place (and in general),they are loud. A bar is about having fun, and having drinks with friends. I'll just go to a library if they want customers to be quiet. There are a couple people that work there that seem they are against having fun and/or certain people they think are "loud". Not good.
