Consistently good service at this Cava location. I must have eaten at this location over 30 times because I work nearby. It dawned on me that not once was I let down. My only negative is that I am spending way too much money there (but that's on me). Friendly staff, good hygiene, clean displays, clean facility and they take Covid safety measures seriously. The food was good, but not the greatest. The Feta Cheese and Tzatziki gave the rice, chicken, lettuce taste great. The brown beans I found a little to crunchy. The place got busy in waves, but that was okay by me. It shows this restaurant delivers something good. The sparkling water was delicious, but the button to get the water always seemed to get stuck. The manager...one of the managers found this very irritating. The bathroom could use a touch up in the cleaning department, but the bathrooms are unisex. The icon for the unisex bathroom I thought was a joke, but the icon is real. Nice. All in all, I will be back for another lunch. I might even try the juice next time. read more

Great opening day! I was so surprised how smooth everything went. I was 65th in line out of 150 for a free meal and drink! The staff was on it today for sure we were in and out really fast considering how crowded it was and how it was the first day. I will for sure come back to this location soon! I left a few minutes ago and I honestly can't believe how bad this place is for vegetarians who want protein in their meal. 4 pieces of falafel, charged me extra without telling me spicy falafel is more. Woman who put falafel in my bowl put an extra one and instead of just leaving it, took it out of my bowl and threw it in the trash. What a waste of food. I look over and my friend's bowl is packed with chicken. This should be a place that caters to plant-based people, but it's the opposite. Great consistent food and service. A couple things to note: please make sure the person that runs out to deliver the curbside orders manages what else they touch when coming back into the restaurant/kitchen or changes their gloves. It would also be nice if there was a trash can on the patio area near the other restaurants. It seems there is a trash can on the side that faces Gosnell Rd but not one on the side facing route 7. So if you're sitting outside, and you want to get rid of your trash, you have to go inside the restaurant or all the way to the other side of the patio to get rid of your trash. read more

For comparison, it's like a Chipotle style of ordering food, but the food is Mediterranean and it tastes so much better! My first time trying CAVA, I knew instantly that it was an establishment I would visit regularly. I got the grains bowl with brown rice and lentils which made an essential base for the meatball protein (4pcs) and on top- are limitless toppings. The meatballs are seasoned generously, it wasn't too salty but packed with robust flavors. Toppings I usually get are cucumber and tomatoes for freshness and acidic taste. I also get the pickled cabbage for the tartness. The beans add more protein to the bowl and I get the peppers for those spicy bites. The sauce I'd recommend is the green harissa and yogurt dill because it's a balance of spicy and the relief of a creamy sauce. read more

I have ordered from here several times, and they typically get the order right. However, whenever I ask for sauce on the side I still get it on the dish. They used to put the take away orders on the pick up rack. However, last time I went they had it behind on the counter and did not acknowledge that I was there as I was clearly waiting for my pick up. After several minute I asked for it and they picked it up off a back counter and handed it to me. Which meant that I waited for it for several minutes while it just sat behind the counter and the employee just watched and talked to each other. read more

I'm giving this one star for several reasons: the biggest being that the lentils were undercooked. Besides the fact that it can chip a tooth, undercooked lentils can be DANGEROUS and harmful to the liver and GI tract. My $14 meal was asolutely ruined with pieces of hard lentils everywhere. Moreover, this location is filthy and one of the employees was wearing food service gloves and holding her phone creating a bowl for someone. The floor was filthy and they were mostly socializing, especially the guy. There was no one in line. Not great for a place that's next to better, cleaner options. This location was really disappointing considering I love CAVA. I ordered two bowls to go, and there were so many things wrong with it including missing ingredients and incorrect portions (ex: ordered 1/2 chicken and 1/2 falafel, and got one falafel in my bowl when it's usually two; missing at least four ingredients in my husband's bowl due to the receipt paper not printing his entire order). The crazy feta had way too much liquid, isn't it supposed to be a dip? Chicken was flavorless and the bowls barely had any chicken bits. I probably should have checked the bowls before I left, but I don't think the missing ingredients are my fault. I get that this place opened only a few months ago, but the employees seemed disorganized considering there wasn't too many folks for Sunday supper. Next time I will drive the extra few minutes to go to the Vienna/Maple Ave location. I've never had any bad experiences there and the employees were way friendlier. read more

Let me start this out by saying I love Cava. I've never had this problem with any other location. This location has repeatedly had so many issues with getting my order correct, regardless of if I'm ordering in the restaurant, doing curbside pickup, or getting my food delivered through Uber Eats. This past order was the third time in a row they have messed up. I always get a greens and grain bowl with a few toppings and they keep missing half the ingredients or adding ingredients that are not even close to what I ordered. The portions at this Cava are also laughably small compared to every other location I've ordered from. DO NOT eat here!!! Love and miss CAVA being in San diego now. My favorite go to is the spicy lamb meatballs... so yummy! I usually do the power greens for my salad. Love the countless ways you can pick your dips/sauces and toppings. Its a wonderful light and filling healthy option. This was my first time visiting this newer location and its very clean and organized. They have really interesting drink combos to try. Ask for a fresh pita on the side if they forget. I just went for lunch at this new Cava & got back to my office to extreme disappointment. I got a Grains + Green bowl with Falafel and the entire meal was ruined for me. The brown rice is overcooked and crunchy, the yogurt dill sauce I got on the side is runny, and the falafel is overcooked and hard. I understand that this is a new location but it's been open for almost a month now. It was not during the crazy lunch rush, but after 2 pm so it can't be blamed on that. I also felt skimped on the toppings especially compared to other Cava locations. I love Cava and expect a certain standard of quality at every location and this time I was extremely disappointed. It makes me not want to come back to this location again. I will say that the establishment itself is nice, plenty of seating & decorated just as the other Cava locations. The establishment is located at the corner of the intersection but parking is all the way around the building, which is shared with the shopping center. If you have never been to CAVA before, think Chipotle, but Mediterranean food... and better. The food is all incredibly flavorful, vibrant, and you can make your meal as healthy as you'd like. If you're not from the area, you may take a second to find the entrance, or where to park in the parking lot. There's patio seating.
