I've gone here a couple of times now, and I'm obsessed! I ordered the Steak & Feta. Even if it's busier, the lines go by quickly. Staff is always super friendly. I went around 11:20am and the three women at the front were so nice! Reminding me that I can change out ingredients if I'd like to. I was bummed when I tried to leave a tip & was told they don't accept them! They deserve it! A yelp review will have to suffice. Thanks girls (:

I got to try CAVA for the first time after spending an entire school year hearing all about it from my friends. Once we ordered our food and sat down, it got awfully quiet because we were busy eating it up. I built my own bowl with greens and grains. I absolutely love the variety of green options that they have, but I went for the arugula with basmati rice. Next, I added some chicken for protein. I also put red pepper hummus, regular hummus, and feta cheese. Then I went to town with the toppings -- pita crisps, pickled onions, corn, and cucumbers and tomatoes. The food was great, service was friendly, but there weren't many seats since it's such a small restaurant. My friend and I were lucky that one opened up after we ordered our food.

This CAVA is right next to my gym, so it's super convenient for a post-workout meal! It's always on point and hits every time. The only downside is they sometimes run out of certain proteins, which is kind of a bummer.

Never been disappointed with my cava bowl until I went to this place. Both the brown and white rice were hard! Don't know if it was undercooked or overcooked but it was not good. Long wait during school lunch hours but shouldn't be an excuse for hard rice..

Healthy and yummy! You have to figure out which sauces you like to mix with your bowl for the best experience. I didn't have meat. Instead I ordered sweet potatoes and falafels. The sweet potatoes are the best. I choose only those next time. Thier service is great. This restaurant stays packed. 1st visit: Yummy!! Their bowls taste amazing and healthy for you. I don't like brussel sprouts, but they taste great at this location. I will be back and I'll bring a friend.

This is my first time at Cava. Small, fast casual, mediterranean restaurant. Very similar to a Chipotle but for Mediterranean food. Make your own bowl or pita wrap with different types of rice, greens, meats and other toppings. There are about 5 to 6 tables inside and no outdoor seating. The entire store facade is made of glass which brings in a lot of light and gives the space an open feel. The Nice modern interior and the pop music playing in the background gives it a good vibe. The AC was turned on at a perfect temperature. The noise level was medium to loud. I got a bowl with greens as the base. For meats, i got the chicken shawarma and the grilled beef. For toppings i got 2 types of hummus, grilled corn, tomatoes, cucumbers and pickled cabbage. The bowl came with a complimentary but optional slice of greek style pita bread. They also have fountain drinks. The greens and dressing was really good. On the other hand, the meats were not tender at all, cold and dry. As i was making my bowl, i barely stuck my hand over the food bar window to remotely point at an item in order to ask my hostess what the item was. Before she would even answer my question, and as i was already retrieving my hand, she unnecessarily snapped and asked me to remove my hand. And then she rushed me through the rest of the process. I understood why but it was still unnecessary. I did not appreciate that but i kept my cool. Prices are consistent with other similar fast casual food restaurants. My bowl was a little over $17. The amount of food was just right. Not too much nor too little. Based on this experience i would probably not go back but you can try it for yourself and formulate your own opinion. It would still be a good spot for a quick lunch especially if you are vegetarian or Vegan.

Yes...as previous posts say...get your wallet ready. The food is tasty but not trying relinquish my right arm for some Mediterranean food. Ugh. In the words of John Travolta Faceoff....What a predicament? Thr pita chips are slap yo mama good. What's a hungry chick to do?

Very disappointed with my CAVA order. I paid around $28 for a bowl through the app, and several items I selected were missing. The bowl was basically filled with sauce with barely any rice greens or protein. The amount of steak was extremely small. I called to complain and was only offered a free bowl if I came back to the restaurant. I ordered delivery for a reason and they couldn't even offer a delivery solution. For almost $30 this was completely unacceptable.

I placed a pickup order and was originally told it would be ready around 12:37 PM. At 12:37, I received another message saying the order was delayed, and it ultimately wasn't ready until 12:55 PM I wouldn't have minded waiting a little longer if the order had been correct, but after getting home, I realized my bowl was missing both the chicken and tomatoes I ordered. The bag label even clearly listed chicken as part of the bowl. It's really frustrating to wait an extra 15 minutes for an order and then find out that one of the main components of the meal was completely left out. I paid for a full meal and expected to receive what I ordered, especially after the additional wait. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience.

I visit Cava at least once a week! I am going to have to find another eatery. They are giving Chipotle vibes, with giving half scoops and charging more for veggies. As much as I frequent their establishment, there's no way I should have been charged for five more halves of Brussel sprouts. I am vegan, give a girl some veggies...sheesh And the student making the food and the manager were rude. Do better Cava, when they first opened they were extremely nice and generous, now you can't get a decent size bowl. Hoping another one opens in OC! read more

This place is complete and absolute trash. We ordered via Door Dash and they left off more than half my toppings (avocado, which was not cheap, tomato and onion, feta) and on top of that they were completely stingy and skimped on the servings. They also didn't give my son his apple juice. I'm pretty sure they do this on purpose with to go and Door Dash orders because they know there's nothing you can do about it. Why open a business if you don't actually have the money to run it? SKIP THIS LOCATION. read more

This review goes towards DoorDash orders. I love Cava but every time I've ordered my bowl with avocado and paid extra (which isn't cheap), they seem to forget the avocado?? It's happened more than once and I'm not sure why. It's a hit or miss when it comes to ordering online and usually more times than not, there are things missing from my order. read more

I am a first-time customer and was extremely disappointed! I was super excited that a place like this opened up in my neighborhood, but they let me down BIG TIME with my bowl waaay less than filled up ($18..BEWARE of XTRA SECRET Charges). Super weird to see the guy in front of me had a bowl more full than mine. This is the first time I did not feel guilty for not tipping. Workers/management here are unprofessional and deceitful. As I was ordering I wasn't being offer some of the common things offered with every bowl. They didn't offer me rice and some other toppings available. When I ordered some sauce the worker only put it half way of myplate and then proceeded to put it away. I then asked to continue and fill the plate. They also are very greedy with the meat. For the price of the meal they don't pool it enough meat on the plate. They also didn't have alot of the condiments for the bowls. No cucumber, no onion, no steak I wouldn't recommend going here. Rather go to chipotle. read more

I love Cava and was so excited that there was one opening up near me. I came on a Monday around 7:30Pm and they ran out of a lot of ingredients. Ran out of a few greens, tzatziki sides, corn, pickled red onions and even the pita bread. Was so hungry I just got a simple bowl but the bothered by fact we have to pay full price when they ran out of everything we wanted in a bowl. Hopefully cava realizes the demand is high in the area and can use this as an opportunity to be more prepared for the future. read more

I only come here for the food, but other than that management has to go. Every time I walk in the line gets crazy long for no reason. With more than 6 people working and yet they have 1 person in the front. I understand having one per station-front, back, and take out-but you have 1 for the front and everyone in the back, and who I assume are managers Blake and Ivan are just doing temp and doing inventory, or other side task that you can do while still helping the front, or even set aside during a quick rush to help, and some staff just slow in general, like after helping one person they need a 5-10 min break for every customer and they walk to the back for no reason just to talk then come help afterwards. It's crazy funny seeing management run this restaurant. I feel bad for some staff! Put a tip jar in the front, some staff need it more than others. Especially during moments like I encountered walking in today 1/9/25 at 6:30pm. read more

I am a CAVA fanatic and was beyond excited for this location to be opening. However, prior to giving this location a try, I actively went to the Brea location (as they opened before the Fullerton one). After I came here, I was so disappointed in the amount of food being served, the service, and the additional fees that they charged. They charged extra for an extra scoop of rice (something that other CAVAs not Chipotle even does) and the amount of food they put in the bowl made me think back to Chipotle's atrocious serving sizes. I understand the perils of working in the food industry, but the customer service was so disappointing. The worker that was charging me was borderline rude. All in all, I will not let one single bad experience deter me from going to CAVA, but I would not come back to this location. Honestly, if you are craving CAVA, go to the Brea location! They give so much more in terms of portion sizes and are a bit more friendly in terms of customer service. read more

This location never fails to disappoint me. The most recent incident was when I ordered my bowl online for pick up and when I got it they didn't include all the ingredients I picked. I was missing 2 of my hummus options, pita crisps, and one of my dressing options. Also the side of pita bread they gave me was way smaller than the bread I've gotten in the past. ALSOOO the chicken had too much fat on it for me to chew and that isn't the first time that's happened at this location. I don't typically write reviews but since I spent nearly $14 on the bowl and it tasted bland I got frustrated. I guess I learned 2 lessons today, always check your food to make sure it got properly made and just go to the Brea location for better service. I'd also like to mention I didn't order it close to their closing time in case anyone is considering they maybe just didn't have those items prepared and even if that was the case It would've been nice for a heads up. Anyway probs just gonna throw it away bc it's kinda grossing me out which is annoying bc I could've bought like 2-3 chipotle kids meals with that money. read more

I got a chicken bowl. They barely gave me any chicken after everyone else it line got bigger portions. They ran out of pickled onions when it came to my turn. The lady didn't wait to refill just passed my bowl along. At the very end they ended up spilling my sauces and they gave us new ones but they were the wrong sauces. The pita they gave me was cold and smaller than usual. Overall all the workers were rude throughout. I thought Cava was supposed to be better than chipotle but now I'm not so sure. read more

CAVA is the mediterranean chipotle. The servings can be a hit or miss depending on who's prepping your bowl. Today I made the mistake of ordering steak instead of my usual chicken. I was served a really small portion of steak and the rest was veggies and greens. The steak was extremley disappointing. No flavor and very tough to chew. Not worth the extra dollars. The quality overall is pretty average, nothing impressive about it. read more

Nothing extraordinary, since it is just a chain co, but I will say I would definitely get this again if I wanted some quick, to-go poke. Workers are also really chill and service is quick, which is a huge plus if you are looking for fast takeout. Only problem I had with this location is parking, since it's in the same strip as a huge gym and cava--so parking was a little crowded, but other than that I really enjoyed my meal!

So my coworkers have been raving about this place and today I was craving it... I ordered through the door dash app and when it arrived, a third of the items were not in the bag. Big sad. I called the store and spoke to the staff and they told me that this is the third time today this has happened (delivery theft, driver fraud, etc.) and it's been happening a lot lately.....bigger sad. They said I can swing by and they replace the missing items. I walk in, and realized I made a big mistake ordering delivery....the staff were all so welcoming, big smiles, just an all around beautiful and solid staff. We've been waiting for this Cava to open for months!! They so didn't dissapoint. This was probably the best Cava I've eaten so far and l've eaten at Cava from Philadelphia to San Diego and all points between. Had a horrible experience at another location last night felt sickening to my stomach. But at this location didn't chintz on the portions and everything was fresh. The Harissa Chicken was just spicy enough and all the toppings were bomb! It was worth the wait, and the staff were extremely welcoming. We will definitely be making this a weekly treat. I usually hit this spot after the gym, this has been my 3rd visit this week. Everything i walk in, they greet you But it gets busy a bit after 8:30 PM. Honestly though, its worth the wait! My friends always recommend Cava & today's the day that I finally tried it out! I walked in and the place was very clean and inviting. The workers were also so nice and helpful. Right when I walked in I was greeted by the employees, I've been to other Cavas and I think hands down this one is the one I will be coming back to. The food was good everything tasted fresh. I love their Garlic and shug dressings! Also Garlic and balsamic is good combo if you're looking for something sweet! Wow, wow, wow! Cava blew my expectations out of the water! I built my own bowl and loved that I was able to customize it exactly to my taste. Highly recommend the shoog (if you like spicy) and garlic dips added. Both locations that I visited had friendly folks and good service and the spot itself was clean and nicely set up.
