I love Cava and was so excited that there was one opening up near me. I came on a Monday around 7:30Pm and they ran out of a lot of ingredients. Ran out of a few greens, tzatziki sides, corn, pickled red onions and even the pita bread. Was so hungry I just got a simple bowl but the bothered by fact we have to pay full price when they ran out of everything we wanted in a bowl. Hopefully cava realizes the demand is high in the area and can use this as an opportunity to be more prepared for the future. read more

I am a CAVA fanatic and was beyond excited for this location to be opening. However, prior to giving this location a try, I actively went to the Brea location (as they opened before the Fullerton one). After I came here, I was so disappointed in the amount of food being served, the service, and the additional fees that they charged. They charged extra for an extra scoop of rice (something that other CAVAs not Chipotle even does) and the amount of food they put in the bowl made me think back to Chipotle's atrocious serving sizes. I understand the perils of working in the food industry, but the customer service was so disappointing. The worker that was charging me was borderline rude. All in all, I will not let one single bad experience deter me from going to CAVA, but I would not come back to this location. Honestly, if you are craving CAVA, go to the Brea location! They give so much more in terms of portion sizes and are a bit more friendly in terms of customer service. read more

We went yesterday for the first time and the staff were pretty rude. As I was finishing up ordering my bowl this one staff couldn't hear me and obnoxiously asked, "what!?". I let it go but after that I was waiting for my side of pita chips as they said they were going to be ready in 5 minutes, as more than 5 minutes go by I ask again just to see if it was ready and got the same attitude from a couple more of the staff there, asking for my receipt and asking if I paid for it already. Which I kindly answered with "Yes I paid for it already but didn't receive any type of receipt." We come in today to try again but ordered on the app this time. As I was thinking nothing could go wrong, maybe yesterday's staff just had a busy rough day. Well off the bat I picked up my order and had a glimpse of my food and thought everything looked fine at the moment, I get home to find out we didn't get our garlic dressing on the side and in one of our bowls we didn't get our garlic dressing and tzatziki dip. I wasn't too mad about it just because the drive to CAVA was only 5-10 minutes away. Honestly the flavor is good. I'm iffy on the portions of the base. Maybe I'll have to pay for extra rice and lentils? The bowl was like 1/3 filled only. The lentils weren't completely cooked. I paid for double portion of falafel but got 5 pieces? Out of broccoli and Calamata olives? But like I said the flavor is bomb. I can't justify $16.50 plus tax for this unfortunately. But on pay day I'd consider it lol. The sauces/ dressing/ hummus was really good and probably provided most of the flavor.
