Yes. It's a hole in the wall, but it's clean. Yes. There's a bit of a language barrier with the staff but they are friendly. The food is amazing! My wife and I are visiting from Indianapolis and we have nothing like this. I highly recommend eating here. The portions are big, the flavors are bold and the prices are reasonable. Usually one of my fav spots but today I walked in at 9:25 and all the food was "put away" the person working said they close soon so they were preparing to close and can't service anything other than just rice and chicken. Y'all close at 10pm so explain why you had to put away all the food 35 minutes early lol? I work In food service so I understand tryna get ahead of your closing tasks but to put everything away and refuse service to anyone coming in the last half hour or so is upsetting won't be coming here anymore. read more

I went to cava for the first time today. It was pretty chaotic and slow. Staff seemed stressed trying to keep up. They did not have any falafel, which confused me since I came here expecting a falafel restaurant The staff was working extremely hard and I felt bad for them that that their management hasn't properly staffed the location That said the food and cucumber juice I had was delicious. I ordered my food in advance for pickup. After walking several blocks in the 92 degree heat to pick it up, they forgot to put paper in their printer and had not started making ANY takeout orders for some reason...duh, I wonder why nobody is ordering takeout today??? I waited at the restaurant for 20 minutes past the time the food was supposed to be ready, along with a huge line of other hot, hungry and upset people. After waiting for my "pickup" food for 25 minutes, I asked for a refund because I had to walk several blocks back to my office before a meeting, and I no longer had time to wait. The lady at the register refused to give me a refund, and told me to use the app to get a refund. I told her I don't have the app, and that I ordered only. She told me I have to "go online" and ask for a refund...what?? Who do I ask? How do I do that? She refused to help me and just started talking to someone else. So I walk several blocks back to my office (now 95 degrees outside), and log into the website, and there is no way to request a refund. So, at this time, they have stolen my money, made me miss lunch, refused to refund the money when they did not provide the food I paid for, and told me to F-off. read more

Don't order online. Logistics are terrible. Other guests ordered after me online and after in person yet received food first. Sat waiting for 20 minutes, 25 minutes after online pickup time. Was 2 people in store when I arrived and 4 online orders visible, including mine. About 20 people served in person before me and about 6 online orders before me. Very confusing. This is a casual/fast food place. The food was delicious and the portion size was huge. I got the Pita with honey chicken. I had Taziki, Eggplant, and Spicy hummus as the base. The toppings included pickled onions, crispy strips, tomatoes and onions. I had dill yogurt and lemon vinaigrette as the sauces. The place wasn't very clean is the reason for the 4 stars. Cava is just great. Their concept is delicious and their slightly changing menu is perfect. They don't try and change it up so much you get confused but their new dishes are just slight spin offs to their current staples. Had the spicy falafel bowl today and it's different enough from the regular bowl to keep it interesting! The downtown location was packed at lunch time and no one left when they saw the line - which just shows how dedicated people are to the deliciousness. CAVA - This looks messy but that's because I tore it up. - Salad Near Me - Denver, Colorado

DO NOT ORDER VIA MOBILE APP . . . unless you have an hour or two. I got there at 1:30 pm for my mobile order. Close to 30 people were inside in line and waiting on their mobile orders. The staff was working hard to get the orders out and did well to clear out the in-person orders at the cost of the mobile orders being further pushed back in the queue. People ahead of me were waiting on their orders that were supposed to be ready by 12-12:30 pm. While I know the location is fairly new, it seems that they're not yet staffed sufficiently to handle the crush of lunch/midday orders. The ironic thing is that they're next to a Chipotle and Chipotle somehow manages to keep up when they're slammed with orders. Another Customer was yelling at the staff and words were exchanged amongst him and the various staff members. Thankfully nothing that was TikTok worthy or anything that involved the police. I'd say at the very least, the store manager should consider staffing better during opening/midday to improve online orders. It can be disappointing to place a mobile order and wait an hour plus for a bowl that Chipotle next door could've made on time or within a few minutes of entering their store. read more

I ordered at 10:50 for a 12pm/noon pick up and still had to wait for 25 minutes. There was sauce dripping off the side of the bowl and I think the lamb was undercooked. Admittedly, they were slammed, but that was a long wait for a pre-order. The staff were working hard, but this store needs support if they are going to be this busy. I go to the 9th and Colorado location and have never had these issues. Love CAVA, but downtown location is overwhelmed and I have other good options for lunch instead of this. This place is a slightly upscale Chipotle with Mediterranean flavors, adding things like hummus and harissa to meat options like falafel if that's what you want. Tasted good, more typical protein also available, if I lived closer to one it'd be a solid 50/50 split on this or going to Chipotle, despite CAVA being a few dollars more. read more

All of the employees at this location are friendly, social, and high-energy. Lily and Elesium, especially, remember my name, ask how my day is going, respond sincerely when asked how they're doing (none of that 'good, now what do you want face'), and load me up on food. The first time I ordered from this place I did so online, I went to pick it up and it wasn't ready so they made it right there, props for that, but the salad bowl was soggy and there was hardly any greens in it. But I fell in love with their pita chips! So I went back today. I figured I would try one more time and maybe ordering in person would work better (I did get it to go, so I can't speak for how it was to eat there in the restaurant, but it looked fine. Fast casual ambience). All I can say is I'd give them 10 stars if I could! ETHAN made the perfect bowl for me, even asking if I wanted the dressing on the side which was nice because I'm prone to forgetting to ask. And MAX was super friendly and when he heard me ordering the pita chips he offered to make them fresh for me! Someone give these guys a raise for good customer service! Honestly I'm sick of always being asked for tips everywhere, like dude all you did was put my order into a tablet, you didn't even take one step away from your station and I have to get my own food, no I'm not tipping; but for good service like this I wish they accepted tips.
