After trying out Cava once when I was on a short time crunch and craving Mediterranean food, I can see why people are a big fan. Everyone knows that Mediterranean food is good for you and has been a large craze for a while but could be quite expensive. I'm glad that there is now a decently priced option. I will say that any extras like guac or anything else is a bit pricey and they don't give you much. The harissa avocado bowl was delicious. It was the right amount of sweetness and spicy. The staff were very friendly and generous with the portions. There is a lower level and upper level to sit in with a lot of natural sunlight. I tried a couple of their crafted drinks and lemonades. The cucumber mint lemonade was delicious. I am a pretty big fan of Cava. Semi healthy fast Mediterranean food. I haven't ever been in there store but I order from them quite often. Delivery always arrives on time and warm. My favorite is the Chicken and Rice bowl. Perfectly cooked grilled chicken, brown rice, tzatziki, hummus, feta, pickled onions, tomato, arugula, greek vinaigrette. Its the perfect medley and bowl. I recently tried the steak and harissa with feta, red pepper hummus, tomato, cucumber, slaw, and brown rice. I found it to be very salty and unsatisfying. I also have tried the blueberry lavender lemonade. This tasted heavy of lavender and felt very bitter. I was not a fan. The best think on the menu is the pita chips. I eat them just how they come and would order from Cava just for the pitas. Absolutely delicious. read more

Typically I'm not the kind of person that goes to chain restaraunts when I am out of town, but the work group wanted this for lunch so we took the walk down here from the convention center area. The walk was not too far and this is an easy walk from that area, it sits along 16th street walking traffic. This CAVA is not necesarily large, but we were able to find seating for our group to enjoy our meal. IN general CAVA is a great place to eat. You can creat your own mediterranean meal and it will be to your liking. The ingredients are fresh in my experience with CAVA and this location was no exception. There was a line when we walked in (lunchtime) but it moved relatively quickly. Good experience overall. read more

Used to go here so so so much. I think in 2025 we were going here on average like twice a week. But the quality has just flatlined. They skimp on the portions SO HARD. It's laughable. Dude tried to give me nine little kernels of corn and looked at me with a straight face. This week they took the shawarma away, which was really the best protein option. The falafel is pretty good but their grilled chicken is gross and has a chewy texture. Today I actually bit into a rock. Not just a hard grain or rice that didn't soften. An actual Little Rock. About the size of a tooth. Gonn have to go to the dentist now. Company gave me a refund and that's nice and all but seriously I have jaw pain now. Also as we were leaving I saw some employee wiping down the counter and getting old food the dirty rag touched back into the trays of food, they're wiping garbage into their rice and stuff. Ugh!! This place is disgusting. The fact that this is their culture, skimping, serving rocks and whatever other garbage falls from the counter into their dishes, I have to recommend you stay away from these people. They have so many protein and topping options so you can always mix it up everytime you visit! Their regular chicken is always my favorite, paired with their Harissa and Red pepper hummus. I usually order online and just pick up for take out. I would recommend doing that for this location because since it's off 16th street, there really isn't much parking. Twice, I realized ingredients were missing from my order once I got home, and once, my order wasn't ready for the pick-up time and the store seemed to have list the order in the system, and it ended up taking forever. Each time I have come in, there has been a slow-moving line, so don't count on this being a quick stop! That all being said, I still like Cava and the food quality here seems fine, and the space is clean. The staff likely just need some time to find their groove and beat the chaos. read more

The falafel here is just unique and different and tastes so good. I've been having the basaltic date chicken bowl. Oh man. I would eat this everyday if I could. They are focused on satisfied customers despite what is clearly a rapidly growing clientele. Busy in the evening and busy at lunch. Chipotle has a competitor in town that just went public with their IPO This Cava on 16th street is not the easiest for me to get to since I have to drive from the highlands and find parking, but it is always worth it. I come to Cava when looking for a hearty and healthy meal whether that eb for lunch or dinner. Something about this location on 16th street they are very generous with portions vs other locations and this will keep me coming back. The seating areas available here is really clean and nice. The Food taste is delicious. If you have not come here before it is like a Mediterranean chipotle. Definitely plan on coming back read more

The food was fine. Nothing spectacular, but good. This location does need to do a better job of managing their online orders. From talking to the people who place large orders at this location, I know that this location accepts huge orders on the fly instead of requiring 24 hours notice like other fast casual restaurants. Which I suspect makes them super popular with people who can't plan a group lunch more than a few hours in advance. But it seriously screws up their service. When I've ordered one pita online it has taken over 2 hours to get my lunch. And the app's estimates are way off. Once I ordered at noon, got an estimate from the app that it would be ready by 1:45 (after I paid with no easy way to cancel), and it wasn't even ready after 2pm. There are so many good fast casual restaurants that aren't chains in downtown Denver who deserve our support. I'd have more sympathy for a mom and pop place that is super popular and still figuring things out. But I can't recommend this chain that can't get their shit together. read more

Super crowded but pretty good. The line is long during peak lunch times, but I think it's worth. The online ordering seems unpredictable, but if you want to skip the line maybe order 30 minutes ahead. I like that you can pretty much add unlimited toppings, which taste more premium than chipotle next door. I would eat this if it were close to my office frequently. I've come to this store quite a few times in the past year and have had good experiences but today was a completely different story. Placed an online order for pickup at 11:45. Showed up and it was a complete zoo. Everyone asking for a status on their order, the employees being fairly dismissive or just ignoring some people. Finally after taking a list of the people waiting, that didn't seem to do anything at all, we got our order at 12:15. My order was completely wrong, missing my favorite ingredient and including one I strongly dislike instead. They also didn't include our free pitas we had ordered and when we asked for them they seemed annoyed. I like the food here a lot, but it's incredibly frustrating to have an order be half an hour late during a busy work day, and be completely wrong, and the experience was just a complete mess. As a HUGE Cava fan, I was very excited that the new LoDo location has finally opened! Since opening, I've already been going multiple times a week during the work day. This location is very clean and open and the staff has all been incredibly friendly. I like to build my own bowl mixed with arugula, saffron rice, chicken, and lots of vegetables. I highly recommend including the olives and pickled onions and adding the lemon tahini and greek vinaigrette dressings! It can get very busy with in-store and to-go orders between 12-1 so plan accordingly if going during the week for lunch. Highly recommend Cava, specifically this location, and I will definitely continue to keep it in my lunch rotation! read more
