As a person who loves "Buddha bowls" I can't be more excited being able to find bowl places besides chipotle. Those Mediterranean flavors are absolutely amazing. Being able to get falafel, hummus and fresh salads on top of your bowl was an amazing treat. I don't even eat brown rice but I ate there with the super greens, got a scoop of 2 different hummus's and a sauce, any toppings I wanted which like corn, pickled red onions, olives, tomato cucumber salad it's so many to choose from so make sure to mess around with your flavors and have fun when ordering. They have a lot of good sauces so if you want them on the side and add as you go you can do that I just threw mine on top and I was a happy camper. Ordered takeout from Cava tonight. Just got home and there is no protein on bowl. My order specified chicken and there is no chicken. I also ordered an avocado add-on, and the avocado is hard as a rock and inedible. This is after I waited 15 minutes at the store, having ordered for a 6:30 pickup and not receiving my order until 6:45. Overall a bad experience and not the first time I've had an order messed up by this location and I'm at the point where I don't trust this location to be consistent or get my order right ever. read more

Everyone was friendly & helpful. Line was quick & painless. We took a table outside as did most people. Food was excellent, with portions large enough to fill me, with some left over for a snack later. Menu choices seemed unimaginable with not that much difference between main courses. Then suddenly, someone turned on the background music full blast. It almost knocked me off my chair! They turned it down. But, shortly, it blasted again. Happened several times -- once is annoying; repeatedly is unforgivable. We left with a negative impression because of this one incident. I am so sad to see this place now. Came here a while back had excellent service. This time... not so much. First the cook looks like he's going to rip someonea head off! Then the young lady behind the counter didn't even say hello or look my way (I was the only one in line). She definitely saw me but continued doing her side work filling the food bins and ignoring me. I leaned back on the guardrail waiting patiently for a "hello", a "get out", "we're closed" something, ANYTHING! I was starving and was craving the yummiest of cava that I've known and grown to love. About 3-5 minutes passed before she assisted me and still NOTHING. When it was my turn she stood there, looking at me like I was an idiot who wasn't speaking. So I broke the awkwardness and said hello, looks like you are so busy! Then she served me, no personality, not that that is my review ratings but customer service should be a part of the job serving customers?! Well, I ordered some pitas (there were 4 in the bin that I could see). She went over to the fryer and made more. I thought "wow, this is great! Fresh pita... yum! She redeemed herself " NOPE she put the fresh ones in the container and gave me the older ones which had WAAAY too much pepper WHILE I WAITED for her to cook the new ones! I just chuckled and not in a good way. Later she left telling her fellow workers she was heading to another job. The other young man stood out by the counter on his cellphone the whole time. Worst attitude ever. Came on January 22 on Sunday at 2pm. I stood there for around 5 minutes before anyone helped me, no one looked at me no one said I'll be right there, nothing. Seriously this is our go to almost every day location for lunch, and we have eaten a few dinners here. We love that you can get a very healthy relatively inexpensive meal and a very quick time frame. I've had Cava at multiple locations in Virginia and DC but for some reason this one stood out to me as being extra special. I ordered a green and grain chicken bowl for pickup with a lot of toppings and sauces, they give you the perfect mix of sauces while leaving the dressing on the side and as much as I felt the bowl was too large to finish, I was able to finish it in one sitting. I wish there was one in Durham or Morrisville near me because I really love the freshness and healthy yet insanely delicious food this place had to offer. read more

The food here is INCREDIBLE. I absolutely love the grain options, including the black lentils. The Hummus and sauce options are unique and can really elevate your meal. The pita is fluffy and perfect also. Service is quick and simple. The only problem is it is a small dining room, where most of the seats are only suited for parties of 2. We have come here several times with coworkers and can't find a table to sit at. The food is so good though, that I will keep coming back, just maybe not with more than 1 other person. read more

This is one of my favorite places to come pretty much at least once a week if not more. I always build my own bowl when I come, half greens and grains and then all the toppings I love. I also do half veggie and half falafel, you can do half/half of whatever proteins you would like so you can get the best of both worlds. It's a large serving size and usually I eat it for two meals. It also comes with a small pita on the side. There are other options besides just getting a bowl, I have yet to try them tho because I love making my own bowl so much. Not only is the food amazing here, the employees are as well! Every time I come whomever is working starts conversations, offers recommendations, and keeps me laughing the entire time! They're wonderful people and cava did a great job hiring them. I highly recommend this place and specific location to anyone, and I will be telling my friends and family! My only recommendation is for the app- there just needs to be a button to allow you to put all dips/spreads on the side like the dressings tab has! read more

The only reason I gave two stars is because the food is great. The customer service is hands down the worst of any Cava I've been to. The staff was nice enough; however, it was just a bunch of kids behind the counter and no adult to be found. Our takeout food was 30 mins late, incomplete, and the order we did receive was wrong. I had to interrupt their dance party to ask for help. The lack of awareness, immaturity, and unprofessional idk was astounding. I'm not asking for fine dining service, or anything out of the ordinary, just a complete, on time order. I would understand if this Cava was understaffed, but it absolutely wasn't. We counted 14 people behind the line, a few kids bundled around one another laughing and having a great time. Have fun at work, please do, but at least do your job. Come to work with a sense of pride, have a smidge of integrity. Management and staffed should be embarrassed, but I doubt it. Indifference and mediocrity seemed to be business as usual. The environment was visibly off-putting to more than a few customers, not just my husband and I. Do better. read more

I came to Cava for a quick decently priced lunch. I didn't have high expectations but this experience was pretty bad. Overall the bowl I ordered was okay but the dining experience was terrible. I noticed a few sanitation things as I was going through the line and at the drink counter. There was a large plastic bin full of tea just sitting on the drink counter instead of in a drink dispenser. I saw this and just figured maybe someone briefly left it because they were busy but it was there for the entire time I was in the restaurant. Then, I went to the bathroom after I ate and saw the food sanitation rating. It is an 86.5! I was immediately disgusted. I have worked in many restaurants and know that you have to disregard many things to receive a B health score. In the bathroom, there is no soap dispenser just a large bag of soap that is supposed to go inside of a dispenser. All of these signs in the dining room and bathroom tell me that I don't even want to know what is going on in the kitchen. Maybe I will try Cava again one day, but definitely NOT at this location. read more

I have never found a place that I don't get sick of after eating time and time again, but I also don't feel guilty after indulging. I came after work, it was pretty cold but honestly the pita (with chicken, harissa, pickled onions, crazy feta and lots of sriracha yogurt) was so life changing that it was worth making the stop for. At the end of the day, we all tend to get a little ratchet, but Robert was there making everyone smile and killing it with amazing customer service! Really crowded at lunch. Line almost out the door and the service was slow. They ran out of chicken and they jammed the process up even more. It was so loud in there that I couldn't have a conversation with people I was there with. I grabbed a canned drink and when I got to the register noticed they had other drink options. I let the cashier know it should be obvious at the start of the line that the drinks there aren't the only option and she said she hears that all day long. Ok- so why not fix it? The food itself was OK but I like CoreLife better. The soda choices looked good (if I drank soda) and were interesting and different. Sorry, I don't have a pic but I visited here over the weekend. It has a nice layout inside. As far as the food goes, I ordered a bowl with grains (rice) and chicken and got the three dips. I like that they don't charge extra for superfood greens. My favorite dip was crazy feta. With that said, the layout is very similar to Chopt. I think the reason for the three dips is because the grains and meat don't have a lot of seasoning/flavor. You do get a pita bread side, which I asked to be warmed up. The server said it was already warm (which it wasn't). Although $10 was a decent price for the freshness, I will stick to Chopt. I wish I could give it at least 3 stars but- not this time. read more

I've never been to CAVA. This one just opened this month and it's closer to where I live so I decided to try it out. It's pretty much a Mediterranean style chipotle. I loved it. I'm a huge fan of the sauces. They are vegan/vegetarian friendly as well which is awesome! I would probably come here again. read more
