    Delicious Classic Eggs Benedict

What a lovely time with family at the delicious and quaint Catherines for Easter brunch. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic high quality gourmet cuisine, look no further.

    Beautiful Farm Table

8 of us went to celebrate my daughter's birthday for brunch and we were not disappointed at all! The service was outstanding, food was delicious. They made my daughter feel so special. Would LOVE to go back for brunch Pro: Crab mushroom soup-amazing, interior decoration and the garden is charming, service was very friendly. BYOB is always a plus! Cons: $15.00 cork fee per table, the day we went it was beautiful outside and they are only able to accommodate a party 4.

The ambiance and service were out of this world. The place is so cozy and cute, and the servers were wonderful. The crab mushroom soup was outstanding. We went for brunch and had a lovely time. The lemon-ricotta pancakes looked so beautiful, but were lacking in flavor, as was the burger. I would like to return for dinner to try the food then.

We've been to Catherine's for dinner twice now, and will be back again. Our first time was on a snowy night, and the setting was magical (and the food matched). We especially love the crab and mushroom soup, and the desserts are out of this world. Love that it is BYOB! Also, the owner is a hoot, and so accommodating. Only con is that parking is tight, but there is open parking at the little league lot just a few minute walk down the road. Forget the congested main line - this place is worth the drive!

Catherine's is so cute!!! I've been 3 times and all for brunch, so I need to make a point to try dinner. Unionville is such a cute little town with old homes near Kennett. It's so worth the little back road trip to get to Catherine's. Love that it's BYOB. I highly recommend bringing some champagne and ordering juice for a little breakfast cocktail. Their OJ is great, as is their pomegranate cranberry juice. On my most recent visit I had a delicious goat cheese salad and my friends both had crab cake sandwiches. Everything was amazing. The service is great, the interior is cute and the whole vibe just makes you feel happy.

I have driven past here hundreds of times and never stopped in! It is a cute upscale special occasion type restaurant. All delicious homemade foods. I had mushroom/crap soup and a goat cheese/berry salad. Just those were about $35. It is not an every day type meal place for me. My companion loved her eggs Benedict, we tried the famous thick-sliced bacon, and she had key lime pie. Everything was delicious!!

I dined at Catherine's today as part of a group. We went for brunch for my friend's birthday. I am writing this review mainly because I found so many of the comments here on yelp to be confusing and incorrect in the end. First off, the location is absolutely charming. Lovely decor and to top it off the restaurant had a large chalk board where they had written a special birthday message for the birthday girl. The table was beautifully set as well. All the food was good but the highlight was the bananas foster waffles. We shared this as an appetizer, but it would also make a great dessert. The main thing I would like to clarify is the BYO policy. There is a $10 corkage fee per table. This means that you can open as many bottles of wine as you like for $10. This is completely reasonable and in line with other local BYO restaurants that I have no idea why there are so many negative comments here about the policy. We will definitely return soon!

    Salad special

the food is A M A Z I N G !!!! So unassuming, almost hard to find but it's such a hidden gem. The mushroom crab soup is the best in the world just as they claim. Tuna was fantastic and cooked perfectly, and the cheesecake??!! Best cheesecake I've had in my life. Also- Adam's such a personable server (great stories)!

Catherine's in Unionville - We wanted a place to eat near Longwood Gardens so I think someone in this group recommended it. It has a very charming outside and inside setup - kind of farmhouse chic. We got the seared tuna with blackberry jalapeno coulis, black angus cheese burger, very thick cut applewood smoked bacon and eggs benedict - all extremely delicious. It is also fairly wheelchair accessible ( at the table next to us someone was in a wheelchair although I don't think the bathrooms had accessible entries) Great find if you don't want to deal with the long lines at the crowded Longwood eating options.

I actually ordered off the vegan menu because these tacos sounded so good and they did not disappoint! Our burrata was a yummy starter too. Purchasing the suggested pairings (ahead of time) added to the overall experience. We also had wines that were brought on preference and the paired wines won out every time as they perfectly complemented the prepared courses. Our two servers were friendly and attentive, explaining every course and refilling our wines without asking. Present, yet out of the way. The atmosphere is very cozy in the back of the cafe at Talula's Table - the original table as opposed to the smaller kitchen table added a few years back. Reservations still take a year (though it's easier to snag a cancelation or weekday as they recently added online reservations in April 2026). However, it was well worth the wait (and I'm not sure why I waited so long to try it)! We left stuffed between the hors d'oevres, eight courses, bread, surprise course, and plenty of wine to wash everything down. We experienced the Spring 2026 menu and look forward to dining again in another season.
