We ordered door dash a few times this past week for lunch and it was AMAZING. That was hands down the best chicken salad sandwich I've ever had. Another day I ordered the bagel and lox - YUM!

What a serous gem this place was! Originally, we wanted a simple coffee but ended up ordering much more which I'm so glad we did. We were kindly greeted by two beautiful ladies at the counter and they were full with positive energy. At first, I was planning on ordering a simple iced caramel latte but after hearing my boyfriend's order, I knew I had to order more. Along with my coffee, I had their mushroom and goat cheese breakfast sandwich which blew me away as I typically don't consume mushroom for breakfast. To my surprise, this duo was heaven sent and with the brioche buns, it made it taste even better. This had to be the best and quite frankly, most healthiest breakfast sandwich I ever had. Enough about my order-- my boyfriend kept his simple with hot coffee + a bacon/egg/cheese on a bagel. He loved his order and obviously I enjoyed mine too. Overall, it was a delicious experience !

$8, 3 eggs, parking and a bathroom. all things I love in the morning. I am a big fan of Mary Pat's Provsions and The Market at Liberty Place. I was hoping for scrapple but the bacon was very good.

The food never disappoints at Mary Pat's! So nice to have a spot like this in Kennett. In my opinion, this is the best option to eat at Liberty Place. My mom and I love to come here and get the breakfast sandwiches, but this weekend I decided to try their salad special which was delicious! The cold brew here is also super good

    Egg Shroom Sandwich! Absolutely delicious!

Excellent chicken salad, ample seating throughout the building but it does feel a little dark if you are not near a window.

Very good chicken tenders and wedge salads. The fries are often stale and it's hard to justify asking people to pay for ketchup.

Healthy and unique food. More towards vegan style. There isn't anything on the menu that doesn't taste good.

We finally asked our waitress and she was surprised that we didn't get the "dinner menu". Yeah, we were surprised to find out there was more than just sandwiches for dinner. She apologized that the person who seated us just didn't give us the dinner menus even though it was just about 7pm! So she said if we wanted, they would let us order from the dinner menu and give our original food to someone else. Honestly, by that time, we were sitting there for more than 45 minutes and we were starving, so we just told her we'd take our sandwiches. I have to say she was extremely apologetic about it, and was genuine. We appreciate that, but it's still unlikely we'll return.

Thankfully, we got there a bit after 10 on a Saturday and didn't have trouble getting a table outside although as mentioned, there are only two out there. There is a good spread of food and drink choices. I enjoyed my pancake platter (came with side of fruit - strawberries and blueberries - a protein, and two eggs, all for 10 bucks). The only drawback I saw apart from the limited seating is I felt like we had to ask for everything, from water to pancake syrup to napkins. There was one girl manning the counter and bringing out food and the aforementioned pancake syrup and napkins so I felt bad asking for things. I would have liked some ketchup with my eggs but as mentioned, I didn't want to ask too much since the one girl was doing a lot of the work. There's got to be a way to streamline the process so guests can access the water, condiments, cutlery, napkins etc they need. Maybe have those available somewhere inside? This place is only a 10-15 min drive from Longwood Gardens so it's a great place to grab a bite before going to the gardens.

The highlights were a delicious beat and burrata salad, a lovely cheese board, and bangin' bread with whipped butter. We had mixed feelings about everything else. I liked the lobster roll but my companion was not impressed. The truffle cheese fries had unmelted shredded cheese on top; I have to believe someone forgot to put them under the broiler. I liked the quinoa fritters (they had a falafel-like herbaceousness), but my companion said they tasted like nothing. My companion liked the short ribs: I thought the meat was yummy but wasn't into the carrots or the gnocchi. (Dear chef, consider serving the short ribs with the truffle cheese fries; that would be an amazing combo if the cheese were melted.) Lastly, my English Garden cocktail was a little weird, like a cucumber bellini. I was expecting something else, I guess. I could be persuaded to try it again, though. In spite of the criticisms, a good meal and good experience. Would absolutely go back. Their brunch is also recommended.

We made the reservations for happy hour specifically to sit outside and listen to the live music. When we arrived, even though we had reservations for their happy hour, we were told there were no places outside and they wouldn't even honor their happy hour menu inside. They later came back after realizing they were in the wrong and said they would honor the drink prices but not the appetizers on the happy hour menu. We saw an empty high top table with no chairs outside that we would have stood at, but that wasn't even an option. Instead, we were told we could purchase drinks and walk around outside. Since we were there for a birthday (indicated on the reservation), this was upsetting. We left and found a nearby restaurant with delicious food and all-day happy hour nearby.

The food gives you that fine dining experience without the pretentiousness. The staff is warm and friendly -- shout out to Chet for his amazing service. They were also very accommodating to our son who was in between napping when we began dining, setting up a high chair for us in a way that would allow him to continue sleeping in his car seat. We started the meal off with some seared scallops that were perfectly arranged. Next, my wife had some seared tuna while I ordered the Colorado bison -- both items off of the special seasonal menu. The dishes were incredibly flavorful and the veggies that surrounded the meat added a nice complement. I also really enjoyed my California cab, as did my wife with her house Manhattan. We will definitely be back next time we are in Delaware, and highly recommend to anyone visiting the Hockessin area!

(Server rectified) The pasta carbonara was prepared using guanciale instead of bacon or pancetta. I found it too rich and almost over cooked. The duck wings appetizer my friend had were excellent. The fresh fish entree was delicious. The cheesecake dessert was a thing of beauty. I would probably try again, but it's a half an hour away. (We passed way too many other restaurants to try)
