Peak weekend they had five types of freestones; get a sample and give them a few days to rest and you have the best peaches money can buy. Made a huge mistake this trip only getting one box of tomatoes - minimum two next time; you're not making a great tomato sandwich with grocery store tomatoes. Watermelon from Mason too. None of that silly "seedless" stuff, filled with runt white (not)seeds. It is so worth the extra effort to seed a proper watermelon.

They have a cafeteria with tables and chairs that sells your standard fast food options, and they sell things like homemade salsa, jam, and of course bottles of wine in there too. The thing I like most about Wildseed: they have a path you can walk around that stretches between their vineyards and ends at a little fence facing the mass of wildflower fields that bloom in the spring with red, blue, and yellow wildflowers. If you go at the time it's in bloom, you'll be blessed with SUCH an incredible view, and all the little butterflies and bees zoom around while you walk the little trail/path. I think it's so lovely that it's been around/available to walk all these years. They do also have a little garden aspect at the beginning of the trail with a pond etc. that you can look at. Everyone did the Ranch Flight tasting, but I chose to do the Silver Label since I love Red wine. Kim was really nice and let me switch out the Libelle, so I could try the Cab from the Ranch Flight tasting. My favorite was the Cuvee Alice! Since we had already eaten breakfast, we only ordered some fries which were yum and their bread/olive oil to accompany our tasting. My sister is a member and had many good things to say about them, so we had to try it out! We did a small family trip and this was one of my favorite wineries that we visited. First of all the vineyard is so beautiful and the patio area outside. We had a fun time taking lots of pictures and videos of ourselves! We originally had a reservation for the inside, but since it was such a beautiful day we asked if we could sit outside on the patio and luckily they had a big table available for our group. We ordered a couple of Caesar salads and pizzas for the table. We got the Stout's special and the Texas pepperoni with jalapenos. Everything was really yummy! A few of us did the Classic wine tasting and we also ordered a bottle of Absolution. Overall the wines were really good and we had an amazing time. I would totally come back on my next trip to Fredericksburg!

In the beginning they produced some "OK" wines and provided a nice "winery setting", but it seems as if someone from Disney World took over and it's a laugh among serious wine people. From the moment you enter the property you get a hard sell to join their club. If you're not a "club member" you're treated like a third-class citizen. Can't enjoy the nicer patios, can eat at the restaurant (but that's OK, it's a rip off with below average food for the area), and get snubbed at every turn. They have questionable on the grounds. Had horrible experience a few years ago and never went back. There's a good reason for Yelpers only give this place a 2.9 Rating. Learn from fellow Yelpers, before you waste your time. There are dozens of wineries that APPRECIATE your patronage and welcome you to their properties, AND they have much better wine than Grape Creek.
