I went to this location to invest in a electric guitar, i found one i really like and the layaway period is way better than most other places. As well i have had nothing but excellent customer service experience! Ive been dealing with a guy named mike, bit have had nothing but upmost customer service from everyone at this location! For a pawn shop i do like there selection of items and in all honesty is fair value, even for a pawn shop! Guitar i pit on layaway brand new is $1,000-$1,400 depending on who you purchase it from, they had it for sale at $700, and final payment needed is 6 months from contract! As we all know it's been rough over the last couple of years and has only been compounded the complete and utter ineptitude of our fellow citizens who continue to vote in our failed geriatric leadership in government. So when you add to all of the above the wonderful tragedies of life that can befall us at any given moment like say the death of your grandchild it's good to know that there's is a hand full of company's still out there that are willing to slightly bend the rules to help someone out on a personal level. For this I am truly greatful to the cash connection and for that I'll explain why only 4 stars. So as I was already going to be late to pick up my loan as I work out of town. I called on the due date but to my complete shock and surprise the younger gentleman I spoke with was unwilling to hear me, very robotic also. This is a great way to destroy your loyal customer base at least in my 25 years of hospitality industry experience, but I digress and decided then I'd be picking up everything I had in pawn there never to return. But the next day something told me to try again since all of my prior interactions had been great with the rest of the cash co. Team, long story short I did call talked to Scott, he said he would hold them until I could get there Saturday, great. So I pack my bag start the journey from salem to bend when it happened. So I had to call again for the third day in a row with another reason I can't make it although this time it was literally a life and death situation (I can only assume they were probably rolling their eyes) but the good news is they are once again willing to work with me and for this I am grateful. If only more companies could relate on a humanitarian level choosing people over profits we would all be much better off in my opinion. Although it's more likely they choose to take the Switzerland approach by choosing people and profit as I can only assume the interest is still piling up. Either way it's a great help thank you cash co team! Minus the younger gentleman with the shoulder length hair that seems to enjoy the power he has to literally ruin someone's life. In my opinion Some with so little life experience should not be in a position like that, unless running customers off never to return is what they're going for? went to pick my gun up for the transfer was notified of delivery by FedEx, the Girl working gave a silly lecture " if I'm going to use them in the future please just wait for the phone call don't come in wait till we call you " with a nasty tone ! Really I'm paying money and a polite person 70 years old and this gal needs to grow up and pay attention to the customers that's paying for a service . She also got side tracked and was chatting with everyone under the sun except me . She was passive Aggressive and I don't appreciate it . Really don't know her status at this pawnshop. But my gut says she knows better and would not act like this if the owner was standing there . The othe employees were polite but I must add they were complaining about having to many deliveries from FedEx, Geez don't they realize deliveries equals money and is good for the owner and being able to the bills! read more

We drove from Washington to look at a mini electric bike. After speaking with my husband they held the bike behind the counter for almost a week to save it for us until we could make the trip. When we arrived everyone was super friendly and helpful, and they even had the battery fully charged for us. They let my son test it out in the parking lot. At first I thought this was a great place to buy and sell things. That it might be different than other pawn shops. Then I brought in a couple nice watches which they weren't interested in. That part was fine but then the female clerk who helped me added a comment that neither of the watches were worth anything. They weren't Rolex or invicita but they are certainly worth something and are far from cheap watches. Up to that point I thought the customer service was great. Their true colors showed through. She must think she's quite the watch expert. I've been buying and selling watches for twenty years but what do I know. By the way, both watches were purchased by their competition. read more

The Cash Connection is one of those " one of a kind stores" that You my be lucky enough to discover. Although a "pawn shop", a name with so many stigmas, I have never felt more at home during my shopping experience. My husband and I have frequented The Cash Connection regularly over the past 2 years and we've purchased an array of products, movies, tools, televisions, etc. and we've never had a problem with items we've purchased.
