Nice shop in the downtown shopping district in Bend. This one had caught my eye because I was curious about permanent jewelry, which I couldn't find in Eugene (though I guess maybe there's a place around there that does it). The standard jewelry that Nahselle carries is lovely, and it's well displayed--lots of sparkly baubles to catch your eye. The permanent jewelry application is fairly quick, and I didn't need an appointment though I'll bet it can bet crowded on some days. I picked my chain, which was $10 per inch, and I could have selected a charm or addition if I wanted. I liked the sapphire piece they had but they only had one in gold, and I don't like gold. Sad for me but not for my bank account. The woman who helped me was really helpful and friendly. I was satisfied with my experience here and would return if I was in Bend. read more

Passed by this shop, it was closed and both of my daughters wanted to stop by later when they were opened. Both girls wanted the permanent bracelets and I was going to get one too. so we made a trip back to Bend. We walked into the shop, and there were several workers and NOT one customer. NOT one! No one greeted us, no one spoke. The most snotty people I encountered in Oregon. Both girls felt unwelcome as well. I wouldn't go to this shop ever or recommend. As a Yelper that never gives a negative review this pains me to do but must share my honest review! I have visited the Old Mill Nashelle Store 4 different times in the last year. One time, I went to match some jewelry to outfits purchased next door at Vanilla, another to browse, one with a friend and this past time to buy a piece for a beloved family members birthday coming up. Each and every time I have been in the store the sales girls are lazy, rude, playing on their phones and act like they aren't even working. This past experience was the worst. Jen - as I was so blown away I had to ask her name- was eating at the front counter with jewelry surrounding it. After not greeting me, she proceeded to eat loudly until I finally gave her a look, then went in the back to finish her meal. I stood there in disbelief and once again thought where do these gals get their training? Not a "Hello, welcome, may I help you find anything?" NOT ANY ONE OF THE 4 TIMES VISITING THE STORE. I took a picture standing there as Jen went in the back room and as I purposely made noise she finally came out to give a sharp- "You want to see something?" I said no thank you just looking and she went away again. I am high volume shopper but I have to admit after this last visit with Jen, I won't ever be back. I loved Nashelle jewelry and purchased necklaces for when my son was born. I just recently purchased stackable rings and hoop earrings...three weeks ago! When I placed my online order I received confirmation and it said that all of the pieces are handmade and would be shipped WITHIN three weeks. It's over three weeks and still no e-mail of shipment. I just called and was told that production is running behind and it should ship out in a day or two taking 3-5 business days. I understand that the pieces are made to order but the time is ridiculous!! And not within the 3 weeks! Not happy and it makes me not want to purchase any more pieces. 03/15/2019-my online purchase order from 02/11 still has not shipped. Customer service told me on the 03/13 it would be shipped the next day. The USPS shows a label created but nothing shipped. When I try to contact Nashelle it goes to voicemail. I have sent an e-mail requesting a refund three times and was sent a $20 off coupon for my next purchase. I will not be purchasing from this jewelry designer in the future. I've been sent e-mails they are behind in production...it's been almost 1.5 months since my purchase. I have contacted the BBB. read more

Horrible customer service! I ordered a custom necklace and received s call it was ready to pick up! After driving 30 minutes, I arrived to a hand written sharpie sign saying "lunch break" no information on when someone would return! I waited 45 minutes after calling Bend store and being told lunch breaks were 30 minutes long...low and behold that is clearly not the case at this location. Nashelle is my go-to necklace store. When it's Mother's Day, or my birthday, I tell my husband to go in, close his eyes and point, and I will love anything he gets me. This place is very popular among high school students, so I thought I would take a look. The jewelry is beautiful as pictured, so I decided to purchase a few items while the trunk show was going on, when I went to pick my things up, I was not only greeted by two young ladies who had a very unfreidndly attitude, but was not impressed by the quality of my jewelry. I was very disappointed in the flimsy, thin texture of the product. I left feeling like I had been completely judged by the two girls working there who looked my up and down with a rude glare, and then practically threw my jewelry at me. When I left, I maintained a smile and said "have a great day thanks you guys" (or something similar) only to be replied with "yuh". I will not be coming back here again. read more

Our staff pitched in and spent a total of $149 for a necklace for our boss. We were all surprised by the final product. It looked cheap and dinky. We probably could have spent 60 at Kohls and gotten something better quality. The packaging was even a let down with no color or sparkle just recycled cardboard box. I've debated a one or two star review, because they do have some pretty things. The problem is that, should THEIR shoddily made piece break, expect that YOU will pay for the repair. Unreal. I have really debated about leaving this review, I hate leaving bad reviews especially on local businesses. I have been a big supporter of nashelle jewelry for the last 5 years that I've lived in bend. I own many necklaces and rings by her and love them. The last couple times I've been in there tho I have been very disappointed with the customer service. The first time I went in a few months ago was to get a ring that was made by them resized. I was very rudely told they wouldn't do this and I had to buy a whole new ring. I loved the ring so much and couldn't wear it because it was too big so reluctantly I bought another one. About a month ago I popped into the store to check out a necklace Id seen online at Nordstrom. I wanted to try on the necklace and see how it would layer with the two other necklaces I wear. The girl at the desk ignored me as I walked in and looked around. She was very busy on her phone, much too busy to actually do her job and help a paying customer. When I finally approached her with some questions she treated me as if I was bothering her. I asked her why the necklace was $115 in the store and only $105 at Nordstrom. She said she didn't know. I asked her if they would price match. She said no, that was the price. I asked her if there was someone she could call to find out if they could do this, mind you I'm already wearing over $400 in Nashelle jewelry and about to spend another $160 on a new necklace and longer chain for it and she said no. I said that seemed silly that Nordstrom would be cheaper than buying locally and that I was just going to buy it there and she replied with "do what you gotta do" and went back to her phone. To be treated like this by a business I've supported is so disappointing. I won't be shopping here again. They preach their good cause yet treat their customers like trash. Very disappointed with ordering a necklace at a trunk show at Nordstrom. I was promised it would arrive 5-10 days and after waiting 1 month, I was contacted by Nordstrom to come pick it up. It was made completely wrong! It is now September 25th and I have still not received the corrected piece. I ordered it July 20! It was for a birthday gift that has long since passed. I am going to be very honest and say that I have never had a more awful customer service experience that I have with Nashelle. I understand it is the holiday season, but I have had absolutely no luck in getting any real answers from the few people I have been even able to reach. Here is a timeline of my situation: Order placed 11/29 and credit card charged 11/30 Made numerous calls starting 2/12 trying to reach someone to get an update on my order as they said it would be ready to ship within 1-2 weeks. No answer, no option for voice mail as it indicated it was full. Sent an email to 12/14 to customer service that was never responded to. I finally reached someone on 12/14 and she told me my item was up for shipping out on 12/15. I never received any notification that it happened. I continued trying to reach someone 12/19, 12/20 and 12/21 to get updates as I still had received no email with tracking information. No answer when I called and again there was never an available voicemail option. Out of desperation, I finally called the retail store on 12/20 and talked to an employee who stated she was going to research and get back to me end of business day. I received no call back which at this point was no shock to me. I placed continued calls to customer service on 12/21 with no answer. I left a voice mail with the retail store which was not returned. I sent a final email to customer service on 12/21 and again no response. I finally contacted my credit card company on 12/25 to file a dispute. The sad part of all of this is the it is not surprising that customer service stinks these days. This is absolutely above and beyond anything I have ever experienced, but not surprising none the less. All in all not getting a cheap piece of jewelry is not a big deal, but this was from my son to his mother and he was really looking forward to giving it to her.
