COUNTING THE WAYS IN WHICH WE'VE BECOME FANS ACROSS THE YEARS: 1) We've had batteries in multiple watches replaced here several times and my hubby's father's wrist watch - a sentimental value item - fixed so it can be worn on occasions when my husband wants to most remember his dad. 2) We've had the links in metal watch bands removed to provide a custom fit. We've purchased new watches here and new watch bands too. 3) We've had rings and earrings cleaned..and they never charge us for that while we wait. 4) We bought a replacement wedding band for my hubby when he "misplaced" his after 25 years of daily wear. (Better to misplace the ring than the spouse I guess, although on some days I wonder!) 5) We've had rings resized to make them smaller. 6) We've had necklaces repaired. (They repair pearl strings too I hear.) 7) Family members who have purchased gold chains and earrings here have been very happy with the quality and good value prices of the purchases. 8) The MO for these good folks seems to be that they want their customers to come back and so they keep their prices at a level which allows them the business to thrive but also results in their customers receiving a good value. 9) The owners, watch repair master extraordinaire Larry and his charming wife who works the sales counter and is so knowledgeable about jewelry are both such nice people. We went to Cascade Jewelers to get 2 watch batteries replaced and chose it based on the Yelp reviews and were so happy we did. At first, it seemed like it might not be the best choice as it's inside a dying mall location but the service we received from Betsy was top notch. First and foremost, they replace your watch batteries while you wait so there is no need to return. Second, we aren't planning on purchasing wedding rings for a while but she happily walked us through sizing and showed us some options within our price range so we know what to look for when we are ready. We wish we could take advantage of their customized option! Overall, a lesson in not judging a book by its cover and realizing a great jeweler doesn't have to be in a fancy store. read more

Amazing don't go anywhere else I visited cascade after reading the great reviews about it and needing my watch battery replaced and link put in. Had no idea it was inside a mini mall by Albertsons - do not let that stop you from visiting I had such a WONDERFUL experience....Laurie greeted me graciously and helped me figure out if my band should go up a size or not on my watch, put the battery in and replaced a link in less than 10 minutes! I think I paid like $12 dollars. My toddler was with and she let her play with some costume jewelry which was so kind of her. I then asked her if they cleaned rings out of curiosity since I hadn't had this done since I moved to the area. She asked me to take my ring off, checked the prongs to make sure everything was in tact and cleaned it in a few minutes! I asked her how much and she said they don't charge for this! I haven't had this kind of service from someone in a long time! Really kind, super fast and I can tell they care about their customers.
