Used to love Casey's but the quality and cleanliness has gone down lately. The pizza just isn't what it was.

I've been for dinner and brunch and every time and without fail the food is amazing, the staff is wonderful and knowledgeable, and you can't beat the ambience! I love the fact the indoor space has such a large bar with lots of seating. I'm excited for the warmer weather to partake in the beautiful outdoor space. Plenty of seating! This is such a great addition to Village Point!

The restaurant was very busy for a Friday night. I wasn't expecting it to be so large, but there is plenty of seating, including bar area and outdoor seating. The décor is modern and inviting, with lots of plants and beautiful gold accents. For drinks, we tried the Donatella, which is made with gin, grapefruit, honey, and lemon. We also had the Pomegranate Mule, which was light and refreshing. For my entrée, I ordered the Braised Short Rib Marsala, served with beech mushrooms, snap peas, heirloom carrots, and black truffle risotto. My husband had the Chicken Parmesan, which came with crushed tomato sauce, aged provolone, mozzarella, Parmesan, and rigatoni. Both meals were delicious and full of flavor. My short rib was tender, although a few pieces had a bit more fat than I would have preferred. The prices were on the higher side, but when the food quality is this good, it's hard to complain. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back.

Pizza Quest -- Episode 3: Built with Love…read more The campaign continues. Next stop: Piezon's Pizzeria a neighborhood stronghold with a robust menu that offers plenty of choices without feeling overwhelming. For this session, I picked up: One slice of the Oh Mio Dio One slice of the Mahalo with jalapeños The standout of the encounter was the Oh Mio Dio. The combination of fiery chicken and cream cheese landed exactly where I like my pizza builds to be--bringing the perfect balance of heat and coolness in every bite. The Mahalo took a different path. Built with Canadian bacon, pineapple, and cream cheese, it already offers a unique take on a Hawaiian-style pizza. Adding jalapeños gave it just enough kick to complement the sweet and savory flavors without overwhelming them. I can see why it's my wife's favorite. The menu itself deserves credit. There's a lot to choose from, but it never feels complicated. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a first-time visitor, finding your next slice feels straightforward. What stuck with me most, though, was the atmosphere. The walls are filled with stories and adventures drawn by kids, while pizza trays signed by Husker fans cover the space with messages and memories. Everywhere you look, there's evidence that people care about this place and that this place cares about its community. Heart 18 (+4) From children's drawings to signed pizza trays, the entire restaurant feels built on memories, traditions, and community. Wisdom 16 (+3) A menu with plenty of variety that remains easy to navigate and approachable for any adventuring party. Dexterity 17 (+3) The Oh Mio Dio balances heat and coolness with precision, while the jalapeños on the Mahalo add just the right amount of extra movement to the build. I reached out ahead of time to share my frustration, and I really appreciate how quickly and professionally the team responded to make things right. Once we got there, everything was great--as expected. The brunch was delicious, and the service was spot on. To top it off, the manager even stopped by our table to personally apologize again for the earlier communication issue. Situations outside of everyone's control can happen, but what really matters is how they're handled. In this case, the team's response truly made a difference and left us feeling just as positive about our experience as if nothing had gone wrong in the first place.

I prefer to eat outside on the patio and up on the top patio when the weather allows! Pitch is always busy- try and call to get a reservation if possible. This past visit about a week ago- my friend and I popped in on a Thursday evening for a drink and quick bite to eat. There was room at the bar and so we sat there avoiding the wait time. The bartender is Ashley and also the one who serves us. She seemed to have no positive expression on her face the entire time we sat there. We did witness a machine malfunction and her ask the manager Jim for help, and there really seemed to be issues between the workers there. Jim appeared to me like he did not know how to fix it and carried on with his tasks. Ashely then asked him to get her ice. He pointed at the other workers behind the bar who could help. Ashley manages the bar and that should be her specialty from my understanding... Whereas Jim manages the restaurant. I was quite embarrassed and concerned for other employees while sitting there witnessing the situation between Ashley and Jim with what seemed like distaste for one another. The work atmosphere definitely seemed like it has problems and I hope this reaches where it needs to in order to improve whatever needs to be done in order to fix it for others. There was a lack of professionalism it seemed between them and there are probably deeper issues between staff there, sadly. Besides that issue- The restaurant was very clean! Always has been! All of the other staff I've encountered are wonderful (if there's deeper issues within- I hope they are fixed. No one deserves to work at a place and treated negatively) The food has always been good and I continue to return!! This past visit I ordered the scotch espresso and bruschetta. It is a staple to always order the fries and flight of sauces! It's a must!!

That first impression matters. Our server Paul was a true professional. The best way I can describe him is that he represents what hospitality should be. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. His wine recommendation of a Barbera d'Asti with the braised beef completely surprised me in the best way. What really impressed me was Jen checking back in after seating us to help get our toddler's order in quickly. She read the situation perfectly while we were managing both kids. That awareness is what separates good service from great service. Highlights from dinner: Squid ink tagliarini with crab (fantastic depth of flavor) Braised beef (comforting and refined at the same time) Pizza that made our 2-year-old very happy Excellent wine guidance from Paul The service honestly reminded me of Michelin experiences I've had -- not because of formality, but because of how intentional and thoughtful everything felt. This was hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in Omaha.

It was a fun event with good wine and complimentary margherita pizza. Some slices were great, though a few had burnt crust. We came back another time to check out their happy hour. The drinks and food we ordered were fine, nothing special, and it took quite a while for the food to come out. Their happy hour ends at 5, which felt a little early. Overall, the ambiance is nice, and it's a solid spot, but given all the hype we'd heard, we expected to be a little more impressed.
