Came early on a Monday morning to celebrate our college grad. Customer service was overall great. For a Monday it wasn't too busy but some of our food was late to come out. The food overall was good, I also had the vanilla iced coffee which was delicious. I would be open to trying this place again in the future.

This place is very nice and aesthetically pleasing! Very flowers/garden vibe. The food is also really good and not crazy expensive. The carne verde benedicts were amazing! The customer service?!? Wonderful!!! The girls were super helpful! My friend took her 2 year old and one of the ladies even offered to cut his food before bringing it to him and brought him plastic utensils. It's honestly the little things. We will go back to try the guava pancakes!! Yall should check it out if you're by the Cinemark tbh

This was definitely my second attempt trying to come to Casa Brunch, and I'm glad it finally worked out because the concept alone is already a win for me -- brunch all day long. Honestly, I hate when life gets hectic and suddenly breakfast hours are over, so this idea speaks to my soul. Now, I'll be honest... I wasn't really in the mood for Latin food. I know that sounds funny coming from a Latina girl, but when your mom makes amazing homemade Latin food, going out and paying for it just usually isn't my thing. So instead, I went for the guava cheesecake pancakes, which felt like the perfect half-Latina compromise, and they were absolutely delicious. My dad ordered the gorditas. Personally, I love gorditas stuffed with ground beef, but he got them with just cheese which honestly made them feel more like pupusas to me -- still good though! What really made the experience stand out was our waitress, Victoria. She was so sweet, friendly, and genuinely attentive. We told her we were headed next door to see the Michael Jackson movie afterward, and she made sure our food came out quickly so we wouldn't be late. That kind of service really makes a difference.Good food, fun brunch vibes, and great service. I'll definitely be back again.

So good! I love their chicken mole! Large portions so everything is definitely shareable. They also have a patio that I usually can bring my laptop out at and work from. Overall a chill, casual spot. Will be back!

The only thing I didn't like was the food I got the green chicken chiliques and the chicken didn't have flavor and the chips are stale I will give this place an other try but not the same thing I will try something else But the service was great Also it was bit warm inside so we sat outside for the fresh breeze

We were on our way to brunch, somewhere else in the area, but we saw this place and decided to go here instead. I have to say that hubby and I do not regret coming here instead. The food plates were so good! The chorizo on that Breakfast Sizzle was with a crunchiness to it that we liked. I liked their rice too. The omelette was also bigger than we expected and tasted good. The potatoes, like the other reviews, are a hit or a miss but I'd say they can pass as the main dish on the plate was good! The calamari was alright. Yes, a little pricey but for us, it was worth it. The drinks were also okay. Will def come back and probably try other drinks next time. Service was good, our server checked on us and asked how things were going and if everything went well. Ambiance was relaxing inside. Cute designs on walls. And they accommodated us, placed us in a spot where we had room for a stroller for our baby.

We tried Casa Brunch in Downey and it did NOT disappoint! The food was so good. The Breakfast Sizzle was packed with flavor and came out hot and fresh you can tell they really care about quality. The huevos divorciados were honestly some of the best I've had in LA! Tostadas were crispy and never got soggy even with the sauce. The sauces were flavorful, perfectly balanced, and those beans?! SOOOO good. Like, don't-skip-the-beans good. My daughter ordered the kids pancakes with a fruit side they were fluffy, delicious, and perfectly portioned. I really appreciated that they cut the grapes in half such a small detail but so thoughtful and mom-approved. I ordered the Floor de Casa margarita and it was really good lots of flavor and the Tajín rim was on point! It paired perfectly with brunch. My husband ordered a cold brew and the flavor of the coffee really stood out smooth, bold, and done right. The decor was beautiful very modern, bright, and totally IG-approved. The vibe overall was great and the service was friendly. My only tiny complaint is that it was a smidge warm inside, but nothing that would stop us from coming back. Overall, such a great new brunch spot in Downey. We'll definitely be back!

    (American) breakfast burritos with steak.

This place is amazing! My first visit I tried their (American) breakfast burritos with steak. It was full of flavor and they were not stingy with the meat. Also they have a coffee bar and the maple matcha is good! I had also tried their brown sugar shaken espresso w/ chocolate cold foam. Simply the best!!

Ate breakfast here on a Thursday morning, wasn't super busy so we were seated right away. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The ambience is chill, but did get louder as more people started walking in (though this is expected it's a restaurant) The food was great, but the portions are huge. I ordered the top sirloin omelet with potatoes on the side and it was great. A little too much cheese for my liking but everything was delicious. Asked for a salsa verde on the side and that was also super bomb. Also started with a coffee (brown sugar shaken espresso) and it's was amazing 10/10. Would come back here again to try other menu options.

Been here for brunch and today dinner. The service is really really good. Everyone is very friendly and talkative. The bar has very unique drinks. The food and music was a surprise, they had a gentlemen playing in the patio and everyone was joining in. The bar TVs, bar set up is very classy. Great job with the lighting. We are told they have a DJ on Friday nights and Saturday. We will be returning. Glad to see people enjoying a Sunday evening dancing in the patio and enjoying the ambiance.

sizzling plate with steak, tendon, egg, corn and that crispy side, add serranos trust me

First thing I notice when I walk into a spot is the coffee. If that's off, everything else gotta work twice as hard. Casa got it right. Coffee actually hits. Espresso got that real bite to it, not watered down at all. Feels like you somewhere in Italy for a second. You could tell your girl you're taking her to Italy and just bring her here, she'd understand. Food wise, I don't even really like pancakes like that. They usually leave me feeling heavy and sleepy after. But theirs are different. Light, still got substance, and you end up finishing the whole thing without thinking twice. Sizzling plate is where they really did their thing. Get it with tendon and add a side of serrano peppers. That little kick brings everything together. One of those orders you wish you got sooner. Haven't even gone through the whole menu yet, but you can tell this is one of those spots. Not just about the food, it's where you bring people, where you stay a little longer than planned. Casa Brunch feels like a place you come back to without needing a reason.

The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.
