Unfortunately, I can't give this restaurant 0 stars because that's what it truly deserves. We were a party of 10, and our experience was terrible from beginning to end. Our server was Cristina C., and the manager was Evelyn. Three of the meals were unacceptable. One of the steaks was ordered medium well, but it came out literally raw. On top of that, there was water dripping from the ceiling due to condensation. The water was falling into our drinking glasses and onto our food, which is completely unacceptable. We reported both the food and the leaking ceiling to the manager. By that point, we had already paid--we weren't asking for a refund or free food. We simply wanted to make management aware of the serious issues we experienced. Instead of listening, Evelyn was rude, dismissive, and acted as if she already knew about the leak. She didn't apologize once. If they were aware of the problem, why would they seat customers at that table in the first place? She also ignored our concerns about the food. At the end of the conversation, she simply said that the steaks had been cooked the way we ordered them and that "overall the food was very good." I responded, "What part didn't you understand? The food was not good." She turned around, walked away mumbling, and completely dismissed us while we were still trying to speak with her. The lack of professionalism, customer service, and basic courtesy was shocking. We left feeling ignored and disrespected. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

To start off this place has such cute decor, they recently remodeled it. Restaurant feels like you are in the jungle or Tulum MX. It's clean and the staff is so friendly especially Charlene, she a doll so sweet and attentive. I had the carne en su jugo which is so tasty, it's as if a family member made it. The breakfast burrito is so hearty and packed with meat, a must try item on the menu. Then there's the pozole which is full of flavor, add all extra condiments and don't forget the oregano. As for their coffee & drink bar, their Michelada does not disappoint. The matcha with banana syrup and cold foam is delicious. Their coffee is strong and taste like it made with grade A beans. For dessert you've got to try their Riccota French toast its different bc its crispy, sweet and savory. P.s. PLENTY OF PARKING. (I would love bigger spoons for the soups but that's just a personal preference) If you are in the downey area this place is it!

    Breakfast sizzle with chorizo

Came back here to have brunch with a friend and I know I should have gotten something new that I haven't tried from the menu but I still wanted their breakfast sizzle with the chorizo. At the same time, I wanted to see if they still had the same crunch like how it was the first time we were here and I gotta say, it still did. I got their cookie butter latte as well which actually tasted like cookie butter, unlike when you go to other places where you can't taste the flavor. We were seated outside since we had 2 strollers but were covered by the umbrella so wasn't too hot around 10:30-ish when we went. Our server also checked on us a couple of times to make sure we were okay and that everything tasted good!

The service is great as we were seated ready right away without having to make a reservation even though it was Saturday afternoon. Our server kept refilling our water which was good because it was a hot day, and for that reason we asked to be seated indoors. The inside is quite nice, charming giving the vacation vibe because they were showing sceneries of waterfalls, ancient pyramid ruins from Mexico, and beach resorts on the TV monitors. As for the food, I ordered chilaquiles with green sauce with the regular toppings including scrambled eggs- it was delicious and what I expected. However, my husband tried the chilaquiles swisas with chicken and it tasted a little dry. But both needed more cheese in my opinion. Later on a different server brought two side dishes with beans but I didn't enjoy them because it seemed it made with some sauce so I mostly saw sauce rather than beans. Maybe it's a different style of beans not sure. The only minor thing that was uncomfortable is that indoors the tables are really close together so you can hear conversations from table next to you or look over to see what people are eating. I would come here again for brunch but probably sit outside.

Very disappointing experience. Our group of 10 was seated under an A/C vent that continuously dripped condensation onto our table and into our food. No one warned us about the issue or offered to move us. One of our steaks was served nearly raw. When we asked to speak with the manager, Evelin, she was rude, dismissive, and offered nothing but excuses. She blamed the A/C units for the leaking and then told us there was nothing she could do because we had already paid our bill and that it was our fault for not mentioning the steak sooner. Not once did she apologize for the leaking over our food or the undercooked meal. Our server, Cristina K., also had a poor attitude and made it clear through her facial expressions and demeanor that our group was an inconvenience. Between the food safety concerns, poor service, and lack of accountability from management, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had.

Came here today with a friend, I got the Mexican burrito and she got the chilaquiles. My burrito was absolutely delicious, and she thought the chilaquiles were pretty good too. Food came out super fast, but the server was just okay. She never checked back on us and didn't clear our plates when we were done.

Came on a Sunday and there was a wait, but it wasn't too bad, about 30 minutes. They do take reservations, which I definitely should've made. I checked Yelp photos ahead of time to decide what to order and went with the French toast where you can choose your flavor. I picked the "Nut Gone Tella" (warm Nutella, fresh strawberries, banana slices, caramel drizzle, powdered sugar). I don't actually like Nutella, so I ordered it without that. When it came out, it looked so good. But once I started cutting into it, super disappointing. The toast was really soggy, like overly soaked to the point where only the edges had any firmness. That's just not my kind of French toast. I let our server know, and she was great about it. She offered to switch it out for pancakes, which I did, and those were much better. One thing I really appreciated: the menu notes that they use avocado oil. As someone who tries to avoid seed oils (and deals with gut issues), that's a big plus, especially being a foodie. This place can be a little tricky to find. It's across from the movie theater, so keep an eye out.

Great service. I recommend reserving a table ahead of time because the wait times can get pretty long.

First visit here. Great food! Nice environment and very good service thank you so much Nancy. Everything came out on time and all request on order were met Will be back. Ask for Nancy !

Came early on a Monday morning to celebrate our college grad. Customer service was overall great. For a Monday it wasn't too busy but some of our food was late to come out. The food overall was good, I also had the vanilla iced coffee which was delicious. I would be open to trying this place again in the future.

The environment super cute , staff amazing and on top of it! Unfortunately, my brother and I were disappointed in the food. Considering the prices of it as well. We were expecting something flavorful delicious, amazing. I would have rather ate at a little mom and pop. My brother got the enchiladas suizas , the sauce tasted straight of a can, the beans had no flavor , and the rice was hard. I got the the carne en su jugo and again no flavor I added salt and the only thing that made it yummy was their spicy red sauce. We got truffle fries as an appetizer again no salt no flavor and the fries were still kind of crudos.

    wait on fork

I came in today with my girlfriend and i ordered the big breakfast plate bacon was over cooked like biting wood plank the sausage was over cooked you can tell it was over cooked with all the wrinkles because it was deep fried not grilled the potatoes were alright the eggs i asked for were over medium i got over easy i asked for a pancake and they did not bring me utensils been waiting for like 10mins for them to bring some i do not recommend you to spend your money here sorry but horrible food p.s 8 only do reviews of the places that over exceed taste of food or if they are horrible this place was horrible still waiting for a fork all just eat it with a spoon i have

I just found it overall a bit aggressive and over seasoned, with not a lot of layers or subtleties in taste, which is usually a sign to me that the cook is substituting salty strong flavors in the place of more depth of flavors. So it's kind of like catering to a lower common denominator and that approach may satisfy many, without anyone really being impressed by the result. But perhaps expecting subtle refined flavors is too high a bar for a chain type of Asian food place - maybe. While I did like the noodles and the sauce, the filet mignon entree portion was something more along the lines of what I'd find/expect at a Panda Express. Which isn't terrible, as I like Panda, but I just expected more with the high rating. The place is clean and modern and seemed newer, but the overall vibe was more impersonal, quick-serve, corporate. If someone wanted to meet and eat here, I'd be fine with it. But I also wouldn't go out of my way to eat here or necessarily suggest it if I were meeting a friend out for lunch.

Their food menus differ, as well. With that being said, this Class 302 is closer to my house, so it's frequented more. I probably would have made this a 5 star review, but I haven't tried enough of their food or drinks to make a sound judgement. While I can tolerate spicy foods, in my day and age now, spicy foods aren't a good look for me sometimes. I like how I can opt out of the spice here. I've had the Pork Bone Noodle soup and the Miso Udon soup, both are delicious. They both come spicy and in different degrees of spicy, but, again, I opt out of the spice. Their popcorn chicken also comes in different degrees of spicy, and I've tried the no-spice, and 1st degree (??) level of spicy. The popcorn chicken does have a distinct flavor to it, maybe it's Chinese 5 spice (?), I'm not sure. It took some getting used to, but my twins love the popcorn chicken from here. The fried basil they add to it is a nice touch of flavor. I'd probably choose the fried pork chop over the popcorn chicken, flavor wise. The pork chop is topped with cilantro and served with their house made sweet chili sauce. I guess the secret to their self-serve drinks is to use to slushes in lieu of the ice so that your drink isn't watered down. Now, there are instructions on how to self-serve your drinks here: *Order the size of drink you'd like (small, medium, or large). *Ask for a sample cup if you're not sure what to get. *Add your boba and other fillings first (fruit, egg tart, popping boba, lychee jelly, Oreo crumbs, etc.) *Choose your drink combinations and fill your cup carefully. *If you're gonna add toppings after you fill your cup with your drink, leave some space for said topping. *If there's some overflow of your drink, you might be asked to drink some of your drink or it will be poured out into a sample cup. Your drink can't seal properly if it's not flush with the top of the cup. *You might have to wait a minute for your cup to be sealed because Other Patrons. I always add one scoop of boba, and have tried the following combinations: *Coconut Slush-Ube Slush-Coconut Slush-Lychee Jelly *Coconut Slush-Pineapple Passion Slush-Lychee Jelly *Coconut Slush-Mango Berry-Pineapple Passion-Lychee Jelly *Pineapple Passion-Hisbiscus Tea *Coconut Slush-Thai Tea My twins choose a combination of the Strawberry Cream Slush, Horchata Slush, and Coconut Slush. They'll add Oreo cookie crumbles sometimes, too. I'm a fan of Jasmine Milk Tea, but when I tried it here, it wasn't Jasmine'ing like I'm used to, so I don't get it here. There's a good mix of ages/generations, families vs. couples vs. friend groups vs. solo diners, and while it can get packed it doesn't last for long. I've Shazam'd some music here so the playlists are pretty good. We're always greeted with a "Hi, Welcome!" when we walk thru the doors, so staff is pretty cool. Oh, the door can be heavy to open because of the AC on. We've always had some seats to sit on whilst waiting for our food to-go. Parking close by is a usual occurrence, but this shop is nestled in a very busy shopping/restaurant center.

Service is attentive, the food has its charm with in-house made tortillas. It really was a hard review to write because all the elements of a great restaurant is embodied in this hidden gem. I chalk it up to ordering the wrong items. The flavors did not pop for me. Hubby opted for the chorizo and he said it was decent and he described it as "diet chorizo"--that he'd probably needed to go back to Sinaloa to capture the true essence of "real" chorizo, the way it's meant to be. The star of his meal was the in-house made flour tortillas-now that's authentic! This is/was the reason that it leaned towards a 4 star. These looked and tasted phenomenal. The aroma took me back to the times when we visited Rosarito's Puerto Nuevo, as the lady made the tortillas by hand & pressed them in the comal, ahh, good times. I ordered the vegetarian omelette with beans & potatoes. The omelette was decent with fresh bell peppers & onions but the seasoning was so mild that I requested for salt & pepper. The potatoes appeared well seasoned in color but lacked that oomph that salt & pepper couldn't fix. My apple pancakes were average. While I appreciated the strawberry compote, there was no apple or apple taste in them. To wash everything down, I had cafe de olla, that was good. The aroma of the brown sugar & cinnamon was ever present. Estrella, our server was very welcoming, attentive and friendly, she gets 5 stars for her service with a smile & hospitality. Their lunch & dinner menu looked very appealing but we wanted breakfast items. We wish we were both molé enthusiasts then perhaps we would've better appreciated & enjoyed those offerings. Both indoor & outdoor seating (front & rear), parking is free & shared with their liquor store at this corner small plaza. Beware, no restrooms available. I'm glad we gave this little shop a try.

Berenice is truly a standout employee and an incredible asset to Panera. Emily's leadership and commitment to customer satisfaction are equally commendable. Employees like these are the reason customers return. Thank you both for turning what started as a disappointing interaction into a wonderful dining experience. Panera is fortunate to have such dedicated professionals representing the company.

I then tried to find paper towels to wipe down the table only to find the one and only dispenser was empty. Once I got my food, an employee came through to clear tables, but did not wipe them down. Crumbs were on every table and everywhere on the floor. The Pepsi dispenser had diet Pepsi. The diet Pepsi dispenser also had diet Pepsi. No one seemed to think it was a problem. I don't need to go back.

How you gonna eat pasta without a fork or spoon? Took away stars for that and the vibe inside the restaurant. Notice in my photo I had to go home where I could use my own fork. Bad if you want to eat there because it was so loud I was grateful I was eating alone and wasn't trying to have a conversation with anyone. They seriously need to put something on the walls and ceiling to lower all the echo and reverb. Impossible noise, absolutely not the sound level you want when you're trying to eat inside a restaurant. No wonder the dining room was empty that time I ate it there. But the food is good

I can always find something I'm in the mood for whether sticking with something familiar or trying out a new flavor. What I like about them is the ability to customize your meal. You can add protein options like grilled chicken, shrimp, or tofu, and the portions are generous for the price. The Wisconsin Mac & Cheese is good, rich, and creamy and the Penne Rosa is spicy with a mix of marinara, cream, and fresh veggies. The zucchini noodles are a good low-carb alternative. The restaurant is casual, modern, and clean. Service is friendly and orders are prepared quickly. Lots of parking available.

I had the Three Flavored Kung Pao, Skrimps, beeg and chicken. Honestly the chicken was not good, it tasted old. Like its been reheated or opened but unused before? Hard to explain. Shrimps were good, kung pao sauce was decent, but again just a "Meh" rating for me. Place is small, designed for take out only. Staff service was ok, just running through the motion. Parking is no issue as its in a strip mall with other businesses.

I will try them again because there are so many positives in the execution and preparation. The chicken pieces were plump and juicy, with crisp outsides and the shrimp were equally well done. However, the sauce for both lacked just a bit. Neither the lemon sauce for my Lemon Chicken or the honey mayo sauce for my Crispy Walnut were delicious. Both felt lacking in the spice and flavor department. All the elements were there, just need actual editing in these two recipes. They lacked any real flavor and the Crispy Walnut Shrimp sauce was a bit too watery. I wasn't too happy with my fifty dollar meal from My Home, however, they are so close! I would try other dishes from the restaurant in the future.

My absolute favorite is the Greek chicken salad--I can't even explain how good it is, it's just that delicious every single time. Recently, my sisters surprised me for my birthday by taking me there, and we had such a great time. It made the experience even more special. Their pastries are also amazing--fresh and so tasty. What really stands out to me is the customer service. We had such a kind and friendly server who took the time to talk with us, which made us feel so welcome. That's the kind of service that keeps you coming back. We ended up staying for almost three hours because that's how comfortable and relaxed we felt at The Marketplace. It truly feels like a place where you can enjoy great food and great company.

Im annoyed by how expensive it was. I'm so disappointed because they used to give a lot more than just 4 pcs of pita too when you order a full appetizer side. You get better back for your buck if you get a sandwich because it comes with two pretty large sides... the same size as a regular appetizer lol. The food used to be so good back then. The recipe and flavors have changed. Service is always great and ambiance is fun though. It's very clean here.

Had to travel to LA, so what do we do when we must make that drive? Look for a new Peruvian…read morerestaurant to try!!!!!! This was a bit off the track on our way but had great reviews so went for it! Reviews said meals come with bread and aguadito! Count us in! The bread and aguadito are actually Yummy together, never thought to eat like this but it's so good. The soup is more watery than I make mine or have had but trust me, dip your bread in it! Game changer!!!! I love that they do this, makes them stand out and serving soup with each meal is why we chose it over all the other Peruvian restaurants on the way. The place was packed by the way. And we saw more ppl going in for the first time as well saying oh look, it's over here in the corner. I love more and more ppl are discovering how amazing Peruvian food is!!! For meals we got aji de gallina, my personal favorite and it did not disappoint. It had a very slight kick to it. Again trust me, I'm Kentucky born, I can't handle spicy lol. And this was perfect. Not spicy. Just a tiny kick. Try it. Enjoy it. Make sure you take a bite of rice with each bite of this dish. It's meant to eat together. Got papa rellena to share but we weren't fans so we just ate our other dish. But next day we ate it with our leftovers and we both enjoyed it much more. A must with the aji verde of course. And again, each bite must be paired with the salsa criollo that comes with it. Salsa criollo is the sliced red onions in the container with limon and cilantro, trust me, it's how it's meant to be eaten. Hubby got the arroz con mariscos. He enjoyed it. I am not a jaela fan, so I just don't care for these dishes. I'm a chaulfa fan! And they are not the same though they may look similar. So if you don't like this try chaulfa next time. But my husband prefers this dish to chaulfa, still he doeslikes both. We got chicha to drink. There's taste a hint different than other places. Not at all a bad thing. We loved it! Obviously house made! Some put a tad more pineapple and some a tad more cinnamon etc. So not all will taste the exact same. I highly recommend you try there's. Wish we'd gotten two each! Restaurant was clean and efficient and good seating options. Bathroom was clean and roomy. Staff was welcoming and nonstop working and willing to explain the dishes if you aren't familiar so ask if needed. Menu is thorough. It explains each dish well. My only complaint, it's far from Oceanside lol!!! LA has sooooooo many options, we need more in San Diego county. But if you are trying to decide since there's sooo many in the area, we recommend you try this place. Oh and my husband used the extra aji verde we had left over on our pasta, he loved it.

The staff is friendly, the food was tasty, and this was an unexpected oasis of delight. My first time I tried the Lomo Saltado, it seemed like a must try for a first experience. And it was excellent. The lunch special started off with a delicious soup and then the meal came out and hello. This was no meager lunch. It was a lunch that was delightful, delicious and I satisfied for the rest of the day. The second journey here I was happy to try something different. I had the Vinita Saltada with beef. Well this was once again a wonderful meal. I am so thankful to have found this wonderful place. And I look forward to going again soon. And bringing another friend along.
