My car was involved in a hit and run. My state farm insurance referred me to this shop. From the very beginning the workers were very nice. Due to my hectic schedule I was unable to make it into the shop in person but the worked with me to make everything possible. Carrie was so delightful and such an amazing helper throughout my process. My car did take longer to fix due to unexpected damages but that didn't stop them from getting it to me in a timely manner. My car is finally home and looks like a brand new girl! I am so impressed with them because they even washed and filled my gas up I would highly recommend this shop to those who are in need! They aren't open on weekends which was the biggest down fall for me but like I said they did an amazing job of working with me!

Wires pulled so tightly, removal for bulb replacement is impossible.

Complete and utter fail. We took the car in with a spiderwebbed rear bumper on an insurance claim. Got a call on a Friday saying it was ready to be picked up but arrived to see them frantically buffing the rear bumper. Upon further inspection there was a small glob of paint that dried on the sprayer and then stuck to the paint. While tying to remove that, they scratched the paint down to the primer. There was also a new chip missing from the opposite side tail light. Since they were closed on the weekend, we were stuck driving the crappy rental car for another three days. (The nearby Enterprise only had a sub-compact, a super-duty full sized gas hog, and a filthy base-model Jeep Liberty to choose from) Went in to pick the car up Monday afternoon and every thing looked correct. Unfortunately, the car was parked so close to the fence, the driver's door wouldn't even open to the first stop and I had a hell of a time getting in without dinging the door on the fence post. Whatever. A few days later, putting stuff in the trunk, I leaned on the bumper cover and heard a pop. Apparently it hadn't been completely snapped back into place. I began to look around to make sure all of the snap-rivets were installed and realized that the bumper-cover had been installed on top of the carpeting. The carpeting should be on top of the bumper cover so it can be lifted out to access the spare tire. Maybe that's why they didn't replace the snap rivets holding the plastic molding to the metal trunk bottom. I took out some of the snap rivets, realigned the plastic cover inside the trunk, and replaced the rivets in such a way that everything was firmly in place while being short two snap rivets. Good job guys! Well, on Friday, the passenger side stop/turn bulb quit working. Strange, since it was replaced less than a year ago, but it was the damaged side so not completely surprising. As I was attempting to remove the bulb I noticed that the wires have been pulled so tightly to the driver's side that after unlocking the bulb socket from the passenger side lens, the socket will not come out of the lens without cutting the wires. Tomorrow, I get to remove both taillight lenses and reposition the wiring harnesses JUST TO CHANGE A STUPID LIGHT BULB! While adding photos to this review, I also noticed that they incorrectly installed the lens, routing the wires through a pinch point between the lens and the jagged metal of the car body. I might be returning on Monday for a replacement wiring harness if the wires are cut...

My car was finished two days early. They kept me updated on every step. They worked with my insurance and car rental, I didn't have to do a thing. They did a fantastic job. Here's why I really like these guys...they cleaned my car interior. I admittedly was super messy and planned on having it detailed but they took care if it.

After 13 years of personal abuse and neglect, I took my little 2003 VW Golf to Dave Jacobus for a "Carstar Make-Over". Here's the result. :)

I could give their NE 121st location 0 stars if I could. I had gotten into a car wreck and my car…read morewas pretty much totaled so WA state police called a tow truck. I went to this location to retrieve my belongings but since I wasn't the owner on the car ( my family owns it) I had to do all sorts of things just to get my stuff. Loretta is the lady who works there, and is very rude. I asked her some questions about how to go about payment through insurance (they don't do it!), the storage fees, etc. She answered my questions but it felt like I was just taking up so much of her time. I originally put the car up on Craigslist and OfferUp in case anyone wanted to buy what was left of it. No one wanted it, and so I thought about selling it to a junky car company that would pay me some money for it. But I received a bill in the mail and it was almost $900 worth of fees! I called Loretta back and I tried to work something out with her since that is a lot of money. She basically said that I should have picked up my car earlier or I wouldn't be in this situation. I told her I also have a full time job so it is hard for me to get over there to talk with them. She said she would "honor" one less day of storage as if she was doing me a favor. Today, I spoke with Celina at their NE 65th location. Celina was prompt in messaging me back and trying to work with me. She was extremely polite in her email, phone call, and in-person. She actually has some empathy for people which is nice. I got everything situated and just gave my car to Triple J for less than $900. I just paid the tow-in, two extra day of storage and tax. I just had to bite the bullet and pay $570 but it was better than $900. I appreciate Celina for being kind, proactive, and meeting me in the middle. If you can, avoid their 121st location. They lack professionalism and empathy. I understand they have to run a business, but I think they could use some extra training on boundaries, ethics, communication, and empathy.

SHOCK! I've never, genuinely, never had this kind of towing service. Please know that I genuinely…read morehave no idea how many times I have needed to be towed. For two decades I owned a vintage car (IYKYK) and I have been in accidents or just needed roadside for a multitude of reasons. I also love tiny cars so am very familiar with a large array of tow trucks and flat beds etc. Sunday I had a tire blow while 30 minutes from my house at 6pm. In other words, I cannot go to a tire place since nothing is open and just needed to get home. I have roadside with my insurance carrier and it was a FREAKING MESS. I ended up, on a 95 degree day sitting in my car for FOUR HOURS waiting for the tow truck to come who kept arguing that they never got the request from roadside yet would say they did but didn't. I had to call the insurance company three times and the tow company multiple times. I was just exhausted and laughing hysterically (versus crying). That was NOT Garza's Towing... and I tell you that tale so I can now tell you about my Wednesday. I discovered that I have an additional roadside service through my delivery driving (thank goodness!) but genuinely I was twitching even looking at calling after my Sunday nightmare but I was at least at home so here we go. I request the tow and the only 'issue' I was having on the roadside app was that it was not seeming to let me enter Les Schwab and only had Firestone (I now know I was trying to enter the name versus address which was my error and now I know) so I figured I would just tell the driver and I put it in the notes. I am not even exaggerating when I tell you that I get the text saying they were looking for a provider and not even five minutes and my phone rings.... He was at my house!!!!! WHAT?!? I seriously apologized because I needed to get dressed!!! He was VERY sweet, smiling and giggling since my car is TINY but he had a flat bed and went to drive it up. Unfortunately, due to the prior day (FYI, when you have a low battery, don't sit in idle four hours with your AC running because it murders your battery - especially a small battery) my car was dead. He was like NO PROBLEM AT ALL!! Grabbed his little jumper an had my car strapped in pronto. Then he confirmed the address which was showing Firestone. When I explained about Les Schwab, he called in and then said his boss would call me right now and he did. Super sweet again just saying that I need to update the destination in the app or have their customer service folks do it - liability etc...I GET IT totally. I called and thankfully everyone was super great - I had the address for Les Schwab and roadside manually entered saying it should show now. The sweet tow truck driver showed me the address update on his phone to confirm and off we went! Offloading also super fast.... all done. Seriously, they could give MAJOR lessons in how to do it.

These guys came and towed us TO THE AIRPORT through their contract with our rental company. You may have literally saved lives.
