Don't ever go here to get your car fixed, during the repair to my car they put a lot of scratches on my windshield then put a film on it to cover it up. Sometime later when the film wore off you could see all the scratches. read more

The best place for body work in Portland Metropolitan. I had my 2014 Toyota Corolla hit. Nothing personal but Oregon drivers absolutely suck 5 hits in less then 2 years from the finest of this wonderful state. Hands down easy process for an idiot mistake on my part ... curb checked a fire hydrant and well the rest is history... TJ from GCR was awesome - it was my first ever claim and accident in my F150- GCR made it so easy they worked with my insurance and just handled it all- even with my follow up calls daily to see how " frank the tank" was doing , they finished a couple days before they quoted too! Fixing my driver's side mirror might be called an "easy" job, but when insurance is involved it can take a sharp turn to the "not-so-easy" side. Both Charity and Omar not only handled all the paperwork, but they kept me informed every step of the way. Having been associated with the automotive business in some way all my life (my father had a "bump and paint' business, my uncle owned a gas station, my husband and I owned two gas stations, and my husband worked as a very well known technician for over 50 years in dealerships) I think I am qualified to say this shop is the place to go when you need a damaged car repaired. These guys are good! The under-liner(?) on our car had partially ripped off, and we had left it like that (with gorilla tape to manage the flapping) for quite a while rather than pay the $500 plus quoted elsewhere. Called these guys, they said come on by, and I got a quote on the spot. We talked through the options, and he cut the previous quotes in half. Turns out, half the car didn't need to be replaced like the other guys said! Super happy with their service, and no more Gorilla tape! read more

My rear bumper was damaged. I called Gresham Collision Center, the office lady said to come on in and get a quote. I went to in, took Scott about 10-15 minutes to give me a very reasonable quote. I asked when I can schedule the repairs. I was answered with, "we will work at your convenience, just let us know when you're ready and we will get started". I said that I was actually ready to get it done now if it worked with their schedule. Sure enough, dropped off the car right then and Scott said they would get the bumper and everything in by the next day and have it painted and installed by the second day and ready for pick up! What?! 2 days! I have taken cares in for repairs before and it has always taken at least a week to get my car back. Handed them my keys, they even made sure I had a safe ride back home since they were taking my car. I called on the day they said it would be ready just asking for a time to come get it or if they needed more time (which I actually expected) and the nice office lady said, "it will be ready by 5". Monday at noon: dropped off car. Wednesday at 5:00: picked up car and it looks amazing!!! Can't tell that anything ever happened to it. I am very impressed with their service. I am amazed this place does not have any reviews yet! I cannot praise these people enough. I have a van that is too tall to fit in most body repair shops. These guys happily accepted my car, and gave me an honest, reasonably priced, estimate of the cost. Rather than leave the car there, they suggested that I keep the car until the part came in and was ready to be installed a couple of days later. That way I would continue to have use of the car. I brought my car in when the part was ready. They performed the work while I waited, and actually charged me $40 less than the estimate!! They did a very nice job and inconvenienced me almost not at all in doing it. Why can't everyone be like these guys? read more

This has been by far, the best experience that I have ever had with a body shop. Scott, the owner is a true craftsman who really has a passion for his trade. He realized that my vehicle was a work truck and he bent over backwards to get me on the road again as quickly as possible. He called me several times while he had my vehicle, just to update me and he made sure that all of the support parts that were damaged were replaced rather than straightened and reinstalled. I just wanted to put this out there because this place was awesome over year ago they fixed my car damage when somebody backed into me. They worked with me and were below my price range and fixed my 2002 RAV4 damage. I had a molding come loose recently and Scott fixed it for me at no charge. They are a independent shop and they deserve any business they can get because they are polite and thorough. In August I was stopped in traffic on Marine Dr. west bound ; there had been an accident ahead, and traffic was being diverted to 138th. The garbage type truck that was in front of me decided to back up with no warning-He hit my front bumper, cracking it, and doing some minor ancillary damage as well. The fault was with the other driver; there was no dispute from him or his insurance company. After looking at reviews, for various repair shops, I saw that Gresham Collision Repair and Restoration had nothing but 5 stars. Scott at GCRR gave me a estimate that was very reasonable, including a new bumper pad, painting to match, all labor, etc. (my car is a German sports car, not the one that makes motorcycles as well-the other one). You could say I'm somewhat OCD with my toys, and I would not argue. My insurance company, AT THAT TIME told me to get the damaged bumper repaired, painted, and back on the car for less then half of the estimate; After 15 years of being a State Farm customer, guess who isn't anymore. Scott negotiated a new OEM bumper with the other insurance company, painted to a perfect match, and all labor for his original estimate! Here's the bottom line-Gresham Collision Repair and Restoration deserves all 5 stars; Scott and his crew are honest and forthright; their work is flawless.
