Outside of their paint shop, superior auto body can suck it. Put my Rubicon on its side, (insurance claim) after a year of fighting with them post "she is fixed"I was experiencing death wobble, incorrect replacement parts, they threw out parts belonging to me, argued constantly and failed to resolve the issues. Ended up spending out of pocket another $5000 (after charging insurance over $20,000) to resolve the issues. I am a disabled veteran, my rubicon is my daily driver and Superior Auto Body is an incompetent, zero integrity no honor business. read more

These guys will jack you around as if it was a game.... Case in point; I had a small amount of rust in the left rear quarter panel of my pickup truck. A few years ago, I initially paid to have the rust removed and the quarter panel repainted. Subsequently the rust reappeared so I volunteered to split (50/50) the cost of the second repair, only to have the rust reappear yet again less than nine months later. Each time I dropped my pickup off, I asked when it would be convenient for them to work it into their work schedule. Following their suggested drop off date, in all three instances, my truck sat outside in the blistering summer sun for three to four weeks with NO activity, which amounts to well over a MONTH of inconvenience while receiving no indication of any kind (e.g. simply phone call, etc.) as to when the repairs would be completed. Each time I inquired about an expected completion date, I received a blank stare from Greg the supposed Manager. Currently my truck has once again sat UNTOUCHED going on three weeks, so once I'm notified of my vehicle being "completed" this time around, I assure you I will NEVER contract with Superior (AKA Inferior) Auto Body for repair of the simplest of problems! My lovely new car was hit by a coworker, messing up the drivers door and front quarter panel. Needless to say I was upset, but so was my coworker who immediately took full blame and assured me his insurance would cover it. As this was my first accident I was worried about how well my car would be repaired so I called my Chevy dealership to see who they recommended. They sent me to Superior Autobody. From the first call they were fantastic, had me come right in and Greg did the estimate while I waited. As soon as I got approval they got my car in the next day and let me know it would be about a week. 1 week later my car was done and it looks like it did the day I bought it, you could never tell it had work done. If Greg was a plastic surgeon I would be not just his best client but his stalker!!! Go here for all your auto body needs, I know if I need work again I will be back. read more

At first I gave this shop a good review. That was until my truck was "fixed" and then I had issues after it was fixed. The issues I had I was told were normal and bound to happen because of my lift. One problem I had that the mechanic admitted was he forgot to put a part back on that was creating the noise. However he fixed that issue, it still makes the noise and this noise is new since the wreck and coming from where the impact happened during the accident. I was also told a clunking noise when I accelerated and stopped as well as when I drove on curvy roads was something that was bound to happen. I didn't agree with that convulsion. I took it for a second opinion and the sway bar mounts were on backwards. Once those were corrected to the correct way the noise stopped. Also my bumper was "replaced", however a screw that was put in to hold the bumper from rubbing on my tire is still there. The same screw we put in to be able to drive it to the shop. When I called again today and yesterday the customer service was horrible. I was told I should of just had my buddy fix it and at no time was there acceptance for the fact that their mechanic has now put two parts back on my truck wrong. At this point I would rather pay someone else to look at my truck and pay out of pocket then go somewhere that has to guarantee there work and fix my truck yet seems to want to blame the lift for things that were never there before the accident. I would not recommend this auto body shop. We had to take our truck somewhere for some damage to be repaired and Farmers is contracted with them. My boyfriend wanted to have the plastic chrome grill painted black. They let him know that it will chip and everything like that. He still got it done. I spoke to the manager after seeing the paint job on the grill and told him there were missing spots and Mike had come out to fix it with a paint bottle and brush. That's not professional. When I spoke with Greg, the manager he had told me that the grill shouldn't have even been painted and that he wouldn't have done it. Well that makes me feel great that they just did it without referring to a manager. The other issue is that there was some previous painting and fixes on the body that they found. I noticed that there was a weird lip on the paint up at the top of the side panel where the side molding is. That was never there before. They explained that the last person that painted it stopped at the molding so when they painted over it, it only created a bigger lip that is now noticeable. They explained that they spoke with my other half about it and that he said no he didn't want it fixed. I spoke with him tonight and he said that he never was asked about that. My point is, they're communication is horrible and the job they did was well below professional. Once I took the truck back in for them to look at it I asked Greg to keep close communication and he agreed. We called yesterday and Greg wasn't available but would call back tomorrow. No call today so I had to go out of my way to drive over and chat. I plan to make a huge complaint to Farmers as well. BEWARE OF THIS SHOP. read more

On November 5,2018 I took my 1967 El Camino Resto Rod to Superior Auto body to be repaired after swerved to miss a car that pulled out in front of me. I hit the center divider and damaged the left front fender, lower A frame, cowl panel, left front tire & wheel, sway bar, left front shock, and exhaust header. The insurance adjuster came to my house and wrote an estimate. It was for $3,560.44. Linda told me I should have let them handle the estimate. O In April 3,2019 they contacted the appraisal company over the phone with photos and received a supplement payment of $5,547.47, I still had the original check, I don't pay until the job is done to my satisfaction. On October1st 2019 they called and said it would be finished the next day, on October 15th they called and said it was finished. I went to pick it up and saw the unacceptable panel fit. Linda handed me the keys and said Mike would follow me and give me a ride back. in my truck, I went to leave and the power steering assist didn't work, on the way home the transmission would not shift as the vacuum line to the modulator was not hooked up. As I left superior Linda said make sure i sent them the check for $3560.24. I did not pay , I knew the car had many problems. I sent them a letter On November 5, 2019 I sent them a letter stating that the repairs were not acceptable and they would not be allowed to touch the car again. On November 15th I received an invoice for $4,125.53 with a hand written note saying they still needed the $3,460.40.I am old school . You do not get paid in full until the job is done correctly. On November 15, 2019 Linda sent me a letter saying she would not treat me poorly and take care of any issues that I had, and we were great friends. If we were such great friends they would have fixed it properly in the first place. I knew that if I took the car back to them they would have a possessory lien and and would would have to pay any thing they wanted to release the car whenever they got around to fixing their screw ups. On November 29,2019 I sent them a letter stating my position on the matter and told them to save all invoices for possible litigation. Auto Firm Northwest Had replaced the engine oil pan, it leaked badly. They said they would fix it at no charge. I told them that t would not go to their shop with out a letter stating Superior Auto Body would not be allowed access to it. Their shop is now in Superior's building). I had Moe's automotive put the car on the hoist to inspect the frame and steering and was disgusted at what I saw. The frame was over straightened by 15 mm and diamond shaped the frame and the control arm bracket has been slotted and covered up with a large washer. the frame was cracked with a partial weld, when they pulled the frame they bent the metal where they hooked it to the frame machine. This inspection was done on a Car o liner vision2x3 electronic frame machine by Precision Auto Body . They deemed the frame repairs were not complete and it was not safe to drive. Superior over charged me for work that was not done and wanted me to pay for parts I suppled. The alignment was not done and the lock nuts were loose. They had the car for almost a year and Dale said it would be done by July 1st 2019. Poor workmanship. charging for work that was not done, and for parts that I supplied. Yes I have high standards. I built custom race and ski boats for 25 years and am a Coast Guard approved manufacture. Please do not use this shop. Houston and Mike are in over their heads and don't know what they are doing. Remember pick any two, good, fast, or cheap . You can't, get all three. They deserve a minus star count read more

I will never bring me car in here again. Greg was fantastic after my motor vehicle accident when I originally dropped it off . He helped me and made me feel comfortable. And then he went on vacation and I had the "pleasure" of dealing with Mike. I picked my car up from the "repairs" they did, and didn't drive it all weekend as we had nowhere to really go. Started my car up Monday and it jumped and shook. Went and sat in line at a coffee shop with my 3 year old and it started violently shaking. My car smells like it's over heating and the fan is extremely loud. When I originally dropped my car off, the check engine light was on. And it came on right at the moment of impact with the other vehicle. Greg was able to turn it off after running a diagnostic test, said it was something in the engine, but never wrote a report on it. After driving my car the second time to the auto body shop today to be re-evaluated, my engine was running more smooth, as I had driven a good 15 minutes to them, and he wasn't seeing what I felt and experienced. He smiled at me as if i was lying and said he can't find a report of my engine light being on. My father in law has taken his truck here for years, and I regret going through them 100%. Now because of them not writing in the report that the light was on, my insurance won't cover it under my claim and I'll have to pay for further repairs that my vehicle needs. Just before the accident we paid almost $2500 to get it in tip top shape. I have two children and one on the way and I want to feel safe in my vehicle. We already paid $500 for our deductible. DONT GO HERE unless you want to be treated like a joke and get horrible customer service! Rant over. read more

This is my first experience with Superior Auto Body. My insurance company used them directly and that is why I chose them. As a whole, the company seemed like they knew what they were doing, and when my vehicle was finished it came out looking great. My biggest problem that I had with this company is the poor customer experience and lack of communication skills. If I had been communicated with throughout the process, I would have given a much better review. But being that I work in customer service setting, I take pride in treating customers with professionalism and respect. And communication is a big part of that. 4 weeks after my car was brought to their shop by a tow truck they still hadn't started repairs. The shop manager was rude and literally did not care one bit about whether or not I was receiving good customer service. I have now picked my car up and scheduled a different shop to do the repairs. read more

Horrible horrible customer service (Mike). Took my car in last Feb 2018 after it was hit in a snow storm. Here we are a year later and the car is still not fixed. I have taken the car back to Superior five times was even told to take it to the Kia dealership for a warranty issue only to be sent back to Superior. Mike is a horrible horrible person. He went on Facebook and talked crap about how he would never drive a foreign vehicle or even get in one and how he will fix the little squeak. Everyone who rides in my car cannot believe how bad it sounds as it's not a little squeak. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau written a review here wrote another review and will be contacting the owners to try and come up with resolution as well as let them know how horrible Mike is. read more

Never go to superior auto body in gresham, i dropped my nova off on Monday as per their directions so they could do framework, and i come back to check on it today and not only have they not even looked at it to fix it, but theres funny wear on my tires and rubbery platter marks on the body behind the rears tires and they burned through over half a tank of gas! They would rather run around and do burnouts and joyride my car than work on it! Wtf! Are you kidding me?!
