Dennis and Joe were super professional and knowledgeable. Joe did a fantastic job with repairs. When I picked up my vehicle it had been washed and cleaned inside as well. they damaged my car worse than after an accident. I took my car in to have my front bumper, passenger side mirror, and diffuser replaced after going into a ditch to miss hitting a raccoon. I got my car back in worse condition than when I took it in. I have no headlights/brights, my doors won't lock while driving, they replaced things without telling me until after they did it, they had to have done something to my motor due to my car idles at way higher rpm', they cleared a code on my car but they are saying there was no check engine light when brought in when I know for a fact there was one. Overall my car is boardline total because of them. I am unable to work or eat because I have no vehicle and they won't take responsibility for what they did while it was in their possession. My car was completely fine before THEY touched it! read more

Not just the damaged door but the entire vehicle is detailed !! You may see the terrible review left on Google by a gentleman with a foul mouth but you need to ignore that review because Sandy Auto Body is a very professional business and if something isn't quite right, they will make it right! This is the second time in 10yrs that I have used Sandy Auto Body to fix one of my cars after a small fender bender. They are great! They took care of the bill with my insurance and I just had to paid my deductible amount, my car looks great! They even cleaned the outside and detail cleaned the inside! They were very nice as well. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is when I brought it in for the estimate they said it would take 5 days. When I dropped it off they said it would be 7 days. It took 11 days to get fixed, but it was also at the time the Columbia River Gorge was burning and the Portland Sandy area was filled with smoke. And I-84 was closed. Needed auto body work done. I was told it would be a week & a 1/2. Took long and I guess it would have been ok but there was no contact unless I called them. It took a week longer. I was told that it would be ready at 5pm. But I wasn't able to get in for it. Do I went in at 10am the following morning. It still wasn't ready. I had to wait for it to be washed. The wash job was only to the front end. Not sure it was suppose to be done that way or not. Very nice people. The work seems to be fine. The contact was very poor and was done when I was told it would be. read more

Terrible Service. This place was recommended as a preferred body shop by State farm Insurance. It took 2 weeks to finally get an appointment. Was told it would only be 6 days for repair. My car was keyed and the passenger mirror was broken so one side neede paint and the mirror replaced. Its been 10 days anf my car is still not ready this morning. Lied about how long it would take and didn't offer any explanation on why aftor 10 days its still not done. I will never use Sandy auto body again and would not recommend their services to anyone. I even called claims at state farm and they asked if Sandy auto body offered a free rental car for my inconvenience. No they did not. 10 days without a car for a section that needs repainting and a mirror replaced. Redicoulas! Never again... Terrible service Sandy auto body! read more

Bad customer service from Dan. My car had been broken into and needed the window replaced. Most of the glass was on the floor and seat. I had my car towed to sandy auto body. My insurance adjuster recommended I clean up the glass to save money from the cost of labor ($52 per hour). Before even talking to Dan for an estimate, they went ahead and cleaned up the glasss (2hours). I told him I wanted to save some money and take care of the glass myself. He informed me that it had already been done. Upon meeting with him, I asked him to waive the fee because I didn't want them to clean it up in the first place. He declined. Also, the window seal was supposed to be replaced, it wasn't. Won't risk taking my car there...don't want to be ripped off again. Once the work was done and I paid, he never once thanked me for my business or thanked me in anyway for still doing business with him. I've NEVER heard of a company beginning work without authorization from the owner. Who does this? Oh wait, Dan does. I would never recommend this business to anyone. Probably a good business, but Dan is a dick. read more

Our truck needed extensive work and Sandy Auto Body completed the repairs without any of the "surprise charges" you sometimes see with other body shops. I was involved in a four car pile up so my car was in pretty horrible shape. I took it to Brandon Swan at Sandy Auto Body and he walked me through the whole process on insurance, what needed to be done, the time frame and costs associated with having my poor car fixed. I was recommended to use him by a friend. I live in Vancouver so it was not very convenient, however I ultimately wanted my car fixed correctly. I am so glad I made that decision. They not only fixed my car with accuracy and care, they switched out sub standard parts that my insurance wanted them to use, they were timely and I felt like they looked out for my best interest. If I had any doubt about their credibility it was quickly erased when I went to pick my car up. Not only did the car look fantastic but they handed me a small envelope with a diamond ring inside. It was a gift from my Mom that I didn't even know that I had lost!!! They found it tucked under one of the seats. Can you believe it? How lucky for me that these guys are so honest. We did have one issue with an airbag and it was quickly resolved and handled professionally by Brandon himself. I really cannot say enough good things about this business and the staff who turned in my lost ring. I would have never known that it was lost in the car!!!
