We had our 2014 Ford Explorer towed to Champion Collision after it was hit in the driver's front wheel area. Previously Champion Collision fixed the tailgate and rear camera on our Ford Explorer and we were pleased with their work. Since we trusted them, we now wanted them to repair the damages caused by the accident. Our insurance deemed the car was totaled (it is 12 years old and the value of the car was less than 7K). We asked Champion Collision if the car could be repaired as we wanted to keep it. They advised us that if we did the minimal repairs, it would cost us less than $2,000. That was good news and we agreed to have them repair our vehicle IF there was no damage to the suspension. They took it to the Sandy Les Schwab and then reported to us that all our Ford Explorer needed was an alignment. We were happy, but very surprised that no additional repair to our suspension was needed. Champion Collision "repaired" our vehicle and we drove it home. However, when the insurance company required an inspection on the repairs of our Explorer, Gresham Ford found a bent lower control arm and damage to the tie ends caused by the accident! We went back to Champion Collision for an explanation. Both the owner and the office clerk told me they relied upon Les Schwab's suspension check and they were not liable. After speaking with Les Schwab, I discovered there was not a suspension check report or even the customary computer generated report on our Ford Explorer. We asked for a full report on our car's suspension and was told all we needed was an alignment. Champion Collision did not disclose to us the complete damage to our car and let us drive away in a car that was not road worthy. We relied on their expertise and advice and followed their advice and recommendations completely. They have not accepted any responsibility in this matter. Neither have they responded to questions sent in an email or returned my latest call. The heavy rains in December revealed they had not repaired our tailgate well either. The tailgate now has a leak that wasn't there before they repaired it. Our trust in this business is gone and we could not recommend this business to anyone. read more

I brought my car here in August because the reviews were better than most places in Sandy. When I got my car back I noticed there was damage to the plastic inside my lift gate that looked like someone had tried to remove it with an improper tool (pic attached). My lift gate also doesn't open correctly anymore and there were new scratches. They told me they would replace the plastic that they damaged and the struts on the lift gate. It has been 4 months now and every time we call to check on the status of the part we are told that it hasn't come in yet and they will contact the supplier. I've pretty much given up hope that they will do the right thing and fix the things that they damaged on my car. I don't want people to make the same mistake I did by bringing their car here. read more

They fixed several body and interior issues on our Toyota, we had a list of things that needed to be done. They not only addressed all of them at a A+ level, they also did a few extra items beautifully. The work done was incredible, the cost was great, the service and communication was stellar, our family are now a customers for life! I am not only incredibly happy as a customer but as a parent who is handing this car to a newly driving teenager. I have 1000% faith in the safety and quality of the work they did and it makes me feel much better knowing my child will be driving a much safer car due to their meticulous work. This is the most untrustworthy body shop I have ever been encountered with. The owner's a liar, Cheat, manipulative, and untrustworthy. We have had our car down There for almost nine months now and they have made excuse after excuse after excuse after executive after excuse on why they haven't finished their car. We recently took our truck to Champion Collision for damage that occurred in Oct. 22. We could not get an appt. until the first part of January, 23. They had our truck for three months, and during that time, we were given misinformation, a runaround about parts, and very little communication and promised call backs. When we finally brought the truck home, the right rear turn signal would not work. We contacted Rebecca, and a tech specialist came to our home and was unable to determine the problem. We had to take it to a Chevy dealership diagnosis and repair. The problem happened when they removed the front fuse box in the repair process, and it was damaged. We had to pay $1,400 to get the fuse box replaced, and Champion Collision refuses to take responsibility. We are now forced to take them to small claims court. Never would I recommend this company for any auto repair! read more

Had a fender bender that looked terrible, but the cost was below my deductible. Estimator Manager Sundance was super busy, but he took time out of his hectic lunch schedule to give me a reasonable estimate and had the car repaired in just a few days. Got rear ended in the Vista ridge tunnel, didn't want to use the recommended shop of the insurance company from the person who hit me. Suburban chevy where I purchased my 2014 Tahoe doesn't have a body shop but they recommended Champion. I was extremely impressed with every aspect from the professional attitude, the quality of work and the follow up to make sure everything met my expectations. They handled everything, I didn't have to deal with any insurance companies, they insisted on using original GM parts and made sure everything was brought back to pre loss conditions. I have been greatly disappointed with the service I received from Champion Collison. I will try to keep it short but this story is long. March of 22 my truck was sitting in my drive way when a drunk driver slammed into. I brought my truck to champion to get fixed. The first go around they had my truck for 4 and 1/2 months and on inspection I found 4 things not repaired that were caused by the wreck. I reported it to them and they said they would fix them but they needed to order part and they would get back to me. Several months go by without a response. I start calling and getting the run around this goes on and on (I won't bore you with the 10 calls and broken promises) finely got to them and and it took another 15 to do 4 small repairs the largest was a small dent and chip in the paint. This is the shortest way to tell this saga. A few weeks short of a year. I realize supply line issues, labor issues, I just don't want any one to go through this with this company. read more

If you have time to waste then this is your place! I gave an extra star only because of the excellent communication in the beginning. We scheduled in advance and everything ran relatively smoothly. Great communication for the first couple weeks and then we kept reading the same message "Your truck is being prepped for paint" another week would pass no communication unless initiated by me (granted we would see messages of what was happening to our vehicle) after a while after the second "Your truck is being prepped for paint" I asked when is the completion date? Several days no response....then 3rd update same thing, our insurance was given a completion date, not on track with this company. The date we were supposed to pick up Champion Collision told us they were still waiting on parts to arrive and that they could not be ready on time and that we had to schedule the Monday following the weekend. Annoyed that parts were still on order but that seems to be the norm these days, so understandably ok with that. Scheduled for Tuesday pickup, come to find out they still had a part to add and that we would need to come back to have it installed....a little annoyed but the owner specifically told my husband that she would be there early and that he could use her vehicle to take to work, given the circumstances it seemed doable. However the day my husband showed up no one was there??? The owner said she would be there by 6am. My husband waited for 30 minutes even waited for normal business hours to open, no one, even called. He then had to go to work late. The owner later stated that she had been there the whole time but was in the back shop. The owner at least sent out a driver to my husbands work to pick up the truck to make it right. Again, if you have time to waste I highly recommend this company! read more

Weekly repair updates and he even took time on more than one occasion to explain the repair process. The office manager was also excellent. They do what they say and say what they do. I had bought my 2020 Toyota Tacoma back in February. By May I hit a deer which caused a damaged bumper and grill (luckily nothing worse). Despite it being cosmetic, I was very bummed to say the least! I live in Welches and googled repair shops near me. Champion Collision popped up and had great reviews. I instantly knew they would live up to them after my first phone call. Everyone I talked to and worked with was beyond friendly and helpful. I truly can't say enough about their customer service. They even went out of their way and made sure I got OEM parts to keep my Tacoma top notch when my insurance was only agreeing to aftermarket. I felt like I called a lot while my truck was there because I have limited service during the day, but they never made me feel like a burden and kept me updated. My truck came out looking even better than before, as they buffed out some scratches that had been there since the previous owner AND did a better interior and exterior detail than the dealership when I first bought it! Had them repair widshield frame and replace windshield. Not cheap, but great communication, excellent work, and delivered on schedule. An unexpected side note. They detailed the inside of the cab. The staff there was excellent. They made sure to keep me updated each week on the progress of my truck. They also made sure NOT to use after market parts instead of the OEM parts. They told me they are not sponsored by any auto insurances so they don't have to go as cheap as possible to get the repair done. They made sure it was done right with OEM produts so they would fit proper back on the truck. Check out the before and after pictures I posted. By far the best service. I took my car in for a quote on a new bumper and light on a Thursday. They had the parts by Friday, the next day. I dropped my car off Monday night and they had my car ready by Wednesday afternoon. They kept me updated on everything that needed to be done. I will recommend this company to everyone.
