They even went so far as to say they would get me in asap since it was a serious safety issue. It sounded shady because there were zero signs of this when driving. I had another auto professional look and it was confirmed that my ball joints are JUST FINE. It really sucks that they were trying to con me into spending a lot of money "fixing" something that wasn't even broken. Disgusted!!

I never received a confirmation from Ford and repeatedly called, emailed and texted David and the sales rep to verify the order was in and approved but was dismissed with "it's in and good trust me". I was believing that but it was weeks later I finally received email from David saying my order was in the system originally but when he checked again it had disappeared! He was blaming Ford for taking too many orders and Ford may have purged all orders from Sunday and Monday. I was sceptical that would happen randomly without explanation and did not to any others I know of who ordered on those two days. How that happened I was never told. My order was for a 2023 Maverick and the order book was only open for a few days so I had no chance to re order until 2024 order books open. I went In knowing it was going to be a long wait to receive the truck if it was even built at all considering the supply issues and overwhelming demand but to not even get the chance to be in line after doing my part as asked is frustrating. I relied on reviews on this site and others and was really disappointed. UPDATE: 10/23/22 I was contacted by Sales Manager David Miller with information regarding my order and I feel that it was the fault of Ford that my order disappeared and he offered me an order that had been cancelled by someone else. He says it has been modified to my specifications so we will wait and see what happens. He seems to be trying to make things right and I will give him the benefit of the doubt. I am satisfied by the way things are progressing so far regarding my interactions with Gresham Ford and now it's up to Ford to schedule and build it. UPDATE: On 5/18/2023 my Maverick has been scheduled for July production and all is going as hoped so far. Hopefully there will be no further issues. David Miller has been great to work with after the initial confusion and getting it sorted out. My thanks for he and Damon getting it this far! Update 8/31/23 After 346 days my new Maverick Lariat Hybrid was in my possession and the delivery process as well as communication from David and Damon was great as was the final paperwork and delivery. Couldn't be happier with the process by Gresham Ford after the initial snafu and love the truck!! Thank You Lotta, David, Damon and Alex!

I had an issue with my breaks and they told me to take the car back to Les Schwab where the breaks were originally done. They said, "this is under warranty, Les Schwab needs to fix this for you for free." I have taken my car back several times since and have always been more than pleased with the service and prices. This is beginning 2018…read more Shady and not really honest people. So I had two separate visits there, both times insurance covered. The first time they replaced bunch of things from the front. They for some reason didn't wanna use 2015 bumper for my 2015 subaru and said the one they got (2014 was going to fit), but from the get go the right side started unclipping with left side shortly after as well. I assumed it may have gotten hit (no visible damage) or something so I clipped it back in. But it still unclips from time to time to this day. From the looks, it seems something was either not properly installed or the part isn't for my 2015 legacy. Also I went to check up on my car one Saturday and a part was sitting on my back seat with the seat not covered and you could visibly see liquid had poured onto the seat. The guy working the front desk was kinda sketchy. Even when I confronted about the parts inside the car he played it off as if it was all good (it wasn't).. so bad experience but not too off putting. Fast forward a year or so and I got into another accident, this time getting hit from the back. Because this shop is right by the subaru dealership, for me it was a pretty convenient place to go to (which is also recommended by dealership). So I went there thinking that if the same guy was there I'd find another place, but this time another guy was there, this guy much nicer. So I got everything squared away and left my car there, got my rental, etc, and was on my way. Several months prior to coming here, I got new tires and had 4 matching tires. Tires are rated for 50,000 miles so I should have been good. But the day after I got my car back my tire went flat, at first I thought it was the sensor so I called the shop but they told me no, you just have really worn tires, given that that guy was really honest and nice to that point, I didn't have a reason to not believe him. But the next day when I was putting on my spare, I noticed the back two tires didn't match the front two.. Remember, literally day after I got my car back my tires go flat. Coincidence?! Idk.... but given this is a subaru , I make sure all four tires are changed at the same time. Be cautious here. This taught me to document everything before taking into the shop. I had this as a draft for 3 years until today heard another concerning story regarding this place.

I've been going to McCollum's fot like 20 years. Half the time when I go there, I see a State…read moreTrooper car or a taxi or commercial vehicle in their bay. I also learned that this is where all the car rental places take vehicles to be repaired. They have kept our 1994 Altima running solid for all that time, and I never once felt like they were dishonest or tried to upsell me. And one time for $350 they restored my BMW's transmission to essentially brand new with a filter replacement, when the "specialists" and the dealer both told me the whole transmission needed to be replaced for $2000-4000 (depending on rebuilt or new). Like seriously, they saved me at leasy $1650 on just that one job. Another time, on that same BMW, after a stoner dented my left fender severely, McCollum's body shop completely restored it to 100% brand new condition. Like, you literally cannot tell that anything happened to the vehicle. Amazing. The only problem with McCollum's is that they still have the same small location as 20 years ago, but it seems that more and more people have found out about them. So, sometimes there can be a bit of delay if you don't set up an appointment in advance, according to my girlfriend. (I myself have never experienced this first hand, but I can believe it). That being said, I don't really see this as a problem because, well, it just shows you how good they are.

I had heard great things about Victory Lane and had several positive recommendations, but had completely forgotten about them until I happened to drive by one day. I pulled over, gave them a call, explained my situation, and they told me I could come in right then for a quote. I turned my car around, and within just a few minutes, they had looked at it and given me a quote that was lower than the others I had received. It was around the 4th of July, so it did take a little longer than I had hoped to get the parts in and have the work completed. That said, the wait was absolutely worth it for the excellent service. When I dropped my car off in the morning, they even offered to drive me wherever I needed to go. When I picked up my car, the mirror looked brand new - and they had also taken care of the scratches on the body from the mirror scraping against the car. I was so impressed with both the customer service and the quality of the actual body work. Hopefully I won't need any more body work anytime soon, but if I do, Victory Lane will absolutely be my first call. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reasonably priced, and genuinely helpful auto body shop!
