SHOCK! I've never, genuinely, never had this kind of towing service. Please know that I genuinely have no idea how many times I have needed to be towed. For two decades I owned a vintage car (IYKYK) and I have been in accidents or just needed roadside for a multitude of reasons. I also love tiny cars so am very familiar with a large array of tow trucks and flat beds etc. Sunday I had a tire blow while 30 minutes from my house at 6pm. In other words, I cannot go to a tire place since nothing is open and just needed to get home. I have roadside with my insurance carrier and it was a FREAKING MESS. I ended up, on a 95 degree day sitting in my car for FOUR HOURS waiting for the tow truck to come who kept arguing that they never got the request from roadside yet would say they did but didn't. I had to call the insurance company three times and the tow company multiple times. I was just exhausted and laughing hysterically (versus crying). That was NOT Garza's Towing... and I tell you that tale so I can now tell you about my Wednesday. I discovered that I have an additional roadside service through my delivery driving (thank goodness!) but genuinely I was twitching even looking at calling after my Sunday nightmare but I was at least at home so here we go. I request the tow and the only 'issue' I was having on the roadside app was that it was not seeming to let me enter Les Schwab and only had Firestone (I now know I was trying to enter the name versus address which was my error and now I know) so I figured I would just tell the driver and I put it in the notes. I am not even exaggerating when I tell you that I get the text saying they were looking for a provider and not even five minutes and my phone rings.... He was at my house!!!!! WHAT?!? I seriously apologized because I needed to get dressed!!! He was VERY sweet, smiling and giggling since my car is TINY but he had a flat bed and went to drive it up. Unfortunately, due to the prior day (FYI, when you have a low battery, don't sit in idle four hours with your AC running because it murders your battery - especially a small battery) my car was dead. He was like NO PROBLEM AT ALL!! Grabbed his little jumper an had my car strapped in pronto. Then he confirmed the address which was showing Firestone. When I explained about Les Schwab, he called in and then said his boss would call me right now and he did. Super sweet again just saying that I need to update the destination in the app or have their customer service folks do it - liability etc...I GET IT totally. I called and thankfully everyone was super great - I had the address for Les Schwab and roadside manually entered saying it should show now. The sweet tow truck driver showed me the address update on his phone to confirm and off we went! Offloading also super fast.... all done. Seriously, they could give MAJOR lessons in how to do it. read more

So we ended up in the icepocalypse of this past weekend. My rental car has front wheel drive with no chains. I was not able to drive us back to the airport. These guys came and towed us TO THE AIRPORT through their contract with our rental company. The driver and his partner were kind, and caring the helped us navigate getting into and out of vehicles in the ice so we didn't fall. I can't say enough good. Thank you guys!! Both my cars had been stolen from my house- Garza's was the responder when the cars were located and wow wow wow wow- after hours of dealing with insurance and phone calls it was a relief to deal with professionals that made me feel at ease. I am so pleased with the service I received from Garza. They showed up a few minutes before expected. The towing equipment was excellent. They took good care of my car -- a BMW i3 that wouldn't move forward or backward. When we arrived at the BMW Service Center in Tigard, there was very little space to maneuver in the parking lot for towed vehicles. I got no sense of frustration from the towing specialist...he just got to work and figured it out. I'm sure he ended up spending far more time than he had anticipated, but never expressed any concern and at no point was I made to feel that it was my problem. Nice guy. Professional. They came out to pick up my car in a timely fashion but I had something on my car that was a decorative piece I guess you would say but well attached and when my car arrives at the mechanic it was missing . I called Garza Towing and he said oh wait I took pictures hold on . He came back and said yep here's a picture of it when we picked it up and I can see the key on the top of the car and here's a picture when we dropped it off and yeah it's missing . But they did nothing about it they didn't care to offer to help me replace it they didn't say they were sorry it was gone. And my friend says it was rather like oh well . And I would appreciate having a towing service that cares to get my car there in one piece. read more

Thankfully, the driver showed up in less time than estimated by insurance. The car was at end of the entrance to the freeway in a dangerous spot with cars trying to merge onto the freeway and freeway cars flying by. He quickly loaded my car and delivered us to our mechanic. read more

Our car sat for 5 days waiting to be moved to the repair shop. They are not punctual and don't care. I will never use them again.

Completely undependable. They got contacted by my insurance company to pick up my car from a tow yard and take it to the dealership to get fixed. It's been eight days and my car is still not at the dealership. First they said they couldn't get a hold of the tow yard ( they answer 24/7) and then they said that they towed it to the dealership but they rejected the car. Dealership adamantly denies this. Garza said that they spoke to a woman but they don't remember her name. They could've called me after the dealership supposedly rejected it but they decided to have it towed back to their state and keep it at their yard over the weekend. $$$$. Absolutely unacceptable. I'm guessing the bill is going to be over $1000. This is after paying the other tow yard for picking it up from the police after it was stolen. read more

Garza towing came at the request of my insurance, the car was down to be delivered to my house. Upon arrival, Garza insisted that the insurance company wanted to car towed to their lot. This was a lie. The next day the insurance company couldn't figure out how or why it was delivered there. Once we realized what they had done, we had the car moved to a our preferred repair shop. Garza towing submitted a bill for over 2,000 dollars for less then 10 miles of towing a 3 days of storage. Insurance luckily paid the bill, but for any unsuspecting people out there, be careful. This place is not a place to be trusted. read more

The tow truck driver had the jumper cabled reversed polarity to my battery. After a shower of sparks, and leaving the cables hooked up, the main fuse was blown and battery ruined. The driver told me to come by his shop and he would write a check for the damages. It turns out the incompetent driver is not a man of his word. If you have State Farm roadside assistance, request another business. GARZA Towing should be avoided. read more

I called eight towing companies for quotes. Most couldn't do it for 2 to 4 hours The gal answering the phone at Garza's gave me the best quote ($30 less than next quote), but seemed uncertain how quickly a driver could be sent. She connected me with someone (the owner!) who promised to be here in 15 minutes. He was. He quickly loaded my vehicle, emailed me a receipt, and delivered my car to my mechanic.
