I was able to make a same day appointment for an eye exam, so plus for that. Too bad the appointment didn't seem to mean anything. Waited for over an hour to see the actual optometrist. After the appointment I had to go back to ask for my prescription, which you would think they included with the other papers especially since I mentioned I wouldn't be getting glasses that day. read more

I have been here a few times and never received the customer service I experienced on the phone as I did today. A guy answered and could answer none of my questions there was a lady chiming in in the background..I asked to speak with her and she was very snotty. I was asked I wear contact lenses so my answer was no...not have I ever worn them. I was told " well he asked you if you wore contact and you said no.." Ummmm NO! This place has the longest waiting time and when you make an appointment, they still make you wait more than 45 minutes. Their first available appointment is in a couple of weeks and it is overbooked. Never going back to this place. The one good thing is that they accept vsp insurance. read more

Realizing I need glasses just for reading I came here since I already got sunglasses here for driving. The doctor's eye exam was very thorough and Wena was cheerful in helping me through the process. My reading glasses were ready in a couple days and they work very well. read more

These people only SELL glasses. With my insurance I would have paid only $69 for TWO (2) pairs of glasses but my doctor recommended (SOLD) me one pair of progressive glasses which blurs my vision and gives me a headache. Dr. Kim told me during my exam that my sight could never be improved; so why is she now telling me to continue to wear glasses that blur my vision until my eyes get used to them? This seems to me that my vision then is being made worse by the glasses since they can't get better. Also, be careful what you sign when you're in the eye doctors office and you don't have your glasses on because you're being told what it "means." I can't believe I fell for that. :( Now I have to wait another full year to get another doctor and replace the glasses. read more

I had the most pleasant experience with the time I have spent here. There was a worker I believe her name was Windy or Wendy. She was very patient with me and she also helped me pick out my frames which I get tons of compliments on. Also, Wena helped order the frames I wanted because they were not readily available at the time. My glasses came in really quick, less than a week I believe. I started taking my son to Carson Vision last year and now my entire family goes there. So far service has been good and very pleased with the doctor. I was put into a pair of progressive glasses that did not work out for me which they changed for reading glasses with no problems. The only downside is some frames are not in stock and it can take a while before it comes in. The staff can also be very accommodating... read more

Dr. De Ramos is truly the best. She's been my eye md for about the last 3 years or so and she's very friendly, genuine and efficient. Rowena assisted me during this visit and she was great. She explained all my options to me regarding what my insurance covered and went through a couple choices helping me to see which one would be more affordable. Out of all the optometry places I have been for the past 15 years, Carson Vision has been quite outstanding. From the beginning of scheduling my appointment and to the very end of my eye care. I was assisted by Liz with her excellent customer service with setting up my appointments, choosing my glasses (my fav pair of glasses by far), and the quick service of ordering and receiving my glasses! I have never received an ordered pair of glasses and contacts so fast. Liz was very knowledgeable with her recommendation of what type of glasses I should look for. All 5 stars for Dr DeRamos and the Carson Vision staff!! Figuring out which multifocal contacts works best for someone is not easy and in my case I needed to do more than one trial run as contacts seem to work and show different depending on the brand or manufacturer, etc. Also comfort level of brands can differ. Dr DeRamos was super sharp narrowing mine down to make it easier. Her and the staff at Carson Vision were genuinely helpful and patient as I ask for changes or to try a different combination. I am a very unhappy client. I made an appointment a week ago for the 28th for my kids and husband. I was told there were openings. I get there today and my kids and husbands appointment was not recorded and they made my family miss out on their eye appointment for the year. Who ever take the calls and make the appointments need to make sure it's the correct date. The women at the desk was not sorry neither did they try to help me, I have the name of one RW is her initials. This was a horrible experience and a waste of my time. If I had to take off work I would be very upset and would demand to speak to the owner. If I could give you ZERO stars I would for what just happened to me and my family. My son and I have been patients here for at least 10 years and the customer service we received last week was PHENOMENAL!! Now I have never had a bad experience here but this was the first time my son and I decided to go with contact lenses.
