Dr. Hsu & Dr. Hua are the best. I like the personal attention you get, I got some exams I had never had before until my wife decided to switch doctors (offices). Dr. Nancy encouraged me to get Contacts. Before I was told I couldn't because of my astigmatism, but surprise. I could. It wasn't easy at the beginning but this is the second year and they are so comfortable. Everyone in the office is very helpful with everything that is needed for you to get glasses or not (My youngest son didn't need them Last year). They take care of you since you call to make an appointment. Now with this Covid-19 protocols they make you feel safe. Thank you!! read more

I went in today as my usual optometry spot across the street was closed again. I went in an hour before they closed for lunch and they still helped me through all of my questions & deciding on frames! They made sure my prescription was correct since I had a prescription out of a different office & had lots of options for frames! Designer brands, many shapes & sizes & every single person was so extremely helpful! I ended up purchasing frames, and eye drops & should be back in 7-10 business days to pick up my new glasses! I will be coming back if I need any lasik help! This place was clean, the people were very friendly & helpful & im so glad I stopped by today! read more

This is my first favorite eye doctors office. I recommended them to my husband. They have online patient portals to prevent filling out in office paperwork. They are very high tech and up to date on technology. They offer dilation and mri imaging which some offices do not. It's nice to have an office that offers a multitude of services. The office is very clean. Covid protocols are in place. Items are disinfected appropriately. The staff and doctor is friendly, quick, and efficient. You are seen in a timely manner with minimal wait. One thing I love, not just because of covid, is that when you sign paperwork they offer you a pen and instruct you to keep it instead of putting it back. That way you walk away with a pen (which is nice) and touch ONLY that pen. I hate touching pens that many hands have touched. So I really appreciate this. Parking is not an issue as there is plenty of parking in the plaza. read more

I really liked the convenience of setting up my appointment online and being able to print and fill out insurance forms at home. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and their well-being. She is kind, friendly, patient, knowledgable and just a pleasure to visit. The staff is always friendly and helpful, too! Definitely a hidden gem in the South Bay! Dr. Geoff and Mark are both amazing. They are the best at communicating, whether it be by email, phone or in person. I reached out via email and was so impressed with their response time and just how personable they were, I decided to come in! Parking is a bit tight cause it's at the plaza that's in between Hawthorne/Artesia/RB Blvd - a bit confusing but when you go once you figure it out. Spaces are tight out front (compact) but the have a structure too! Totally worth it to stop by and see them! They have a vast selection of both glasses and sunglasses. So many great brands from high-end to low-end all at great quality too. The A+ service is just the cherry on top! Can't wait! I've already referred all my family and friends to Dr. Geoff and Mark! Came here for my sister. She wanted to get a pair of prescription sunglasses so we came her on a whim after we were shopping across the street at the mall. This place was easy to locate. Parking was really abundant, although, spots were mostly compact, parking wasn't too difficult because there were so many open spots available. This optometry is run by two doctors. Dr. Hua (hehe, though we have the same last name. We're not related) gave my sister and exam and was really friendly. She was very good at explaining things to me when my sister and I had questions during the examination. Process was all stressless and painless!! In addition to the superb costumer service, what blew me away was their wide selection of frames. My sister has a wide face so it is usually hard for her to find frames that compliment her. Despite that fact, she was able to find her perfect pair here! She rocked it like Kim K! I'll be back next time to find mine. read more

I was looking for a place that would accept my Medi-cal insurance and came across this place. They were very friendly over the phone and I was able to make my appointment quickly. I went in on 1/16/19 and was greeted by the optometrist who checked me in and gave me my papers to fill out. Later on the male assistant came out and began the first steps of the eye exam. Then the optometrist came out and led me into the examination room. She was very thorough, professional and took her time to explain the process and answered any questions I had. She then let me try on what would be my prescription glasses and had me walk around to see how I felt with the new prescription I would need. After I went out and picked the glasses I wanted and had them measure me. Overall I was a great experience and I highly recommend them. read more

This is the best optometrist I've ever been to. The doctor does all the procedures from the eye-chart to the dilation drops. There are two doctors who work there. They have an excellent selection of glasses and provide boxes to recycle contact lens packaging! I'd been throwing out all that plastic and foil for years! Now I just bring the full box to my eye exam and it's recycled. Fabulous right? Having a Disney movie on in the waiting area was a great bonus for my figety elementary age son. Zootopia rather than Frozen (aren't we all still tired of that soundtrack?)9 made me very happy. read more

I needed a new optometrist since moving to LA and found Simply Optometry via yelp and decided to give it a shot. I was definitely not disappointed by my choice!! The office has a bright pleasant energy and was easy to find on Redondo Blvd and had lots of parking. Mark was super nice and gave me a reminder call the day before my appointment and was able to give me an idea of what they would be able to do with my insurance and exams. This was also extra helpful because I had forgotten I'd booked the appointment weeks before! Dr. Hsu was also super nice and friendly and was able to answer all of my questions regarding my eyesight and my glaucoma paranoia. He even explained things in super simple to understand terms to ease that paranoia. He also was able to give me a breakdown of what my insurance could get me and helped me make a plan for future visits based on what it covers. I walked in not knowing if they can help with my broken sunglasses that I bought from another store. The staff was extremely helpful, they didn't even have the part but offered to do the search and got back to me before promised time. They ordered the part and then fixed my glasses at no extra charge. I met with the doctors and they were super nice as well. Dr. Hua and Dr. Hsu were awesome! After my visit with them my OLD, yes she's in the past now, optometrist should be ashamed of herself LOL. I can honestly say I've never had such a thorough eye exam where absolutely everything was explained to me and none of my questions went unanswered. My old optometrist could never get my contact lens prescription quite right but Nancy worked her magic and I can see much clearer now. I came here for my annual eye exam and this place is amazing! Dr. Nancy is really the best! She's very precise with her check ups and is very knowledgable! My eyes are usually very sensitive so when I do eye exams, I blink a lot more than usual. Dr. Nancy was very patient and worked with me to get me to relax my eyes so I would blink less. I got pink eye on Sunday, and this place was the only place willing to extend their normal business operational hours to check my pink eye and give me a prescription. Like the previous review, their service was great ( the staff was kind, the facility was clean, and the exam was efficient).
