Amazing service!! The Dr. Took great care of me, and explained things I do not recall another optometrist telling me (and I have been wearing glasses since I was 8 years old). On my second visit on December 30th and she was JUST closing up- like I walked up as she lowered the gate and STILL helped me. I told her I was not sure if she was in my network anymore as we had different insurance. I wanted to order contacts before my benefits expired Jan 1st. She was still kind enough to check and then when it was confirmed she was no longer in my network she printed out of my prescription! I still come back if my glasses break to have the lenses swapped out with her overstock frames! $45 bucks and I am good to go! I wish she was in my network because I would prefer to give her all of our business! read more

I have been going to this location for many years and Dr has always been great. Her service is amazing and she is very nice. The girls up front are very helpful as well. My exam was quick and I picked my glasses there. They were ready in a week which was great for me. This location takes my medical and I'm thankful for all the help I've received. This was one of the best and most pleasant eye appointments I have had in 10 years. Dr. Kaspian and her staff are well organized, polite and very professional. The location was convenient for me as well as beautifully decorated and comfortable. I had previously gone to a supposedly reputable eye center in Torrance and was greatly disappointed by the service as well as the prescription I received. After numerous failed attempts to get it corrected, I decided to start the entire process all over again by seeing Dr. Kaspian at Prospect Optometry. I should have gone there first instead of wasting my time and money with another company just because it was covered by my insurance. In comparison, Dr. Kaspian's expertise was hands down better and more thorough. The other doctor stated I needed and prescribed transitional lenses which proved to be useless. Dr. Kaspian made a slight adjustment to my existing prescription and all was well! I highly recommend Dr. Kaspian if you hope to have the process done right the first time. Doctor Susan Kaspian and her staff are just angels it's dream boat in their . They accept LA Care medical . They really care about your eyes . They are actually pretty fast I can tell she has the best technology and she knows her medicine. I had a sty for almost six months she prescribed me a ointment it was gone in hours I'm telling you it's a dream boat . They have a variety of frames for you to select from . From fast unit frames that medical covers to designer frames. This year I decided to treat myself I unintentionally I chose designer frames that are close to $600 she gave me a great deal for $175. I will always come back and I will definitely refer family and friends. They take walk ins if you forget your medical card no problem they will find you and help you when anything they can . Dr. Kaspian is wonderful. She is an incredibly sweet, gracious and thoughtful Doctor. Her ADMIN/Front Secretary on the other hand, is rude and difficult. I was ignored by her, racially profiled and treated with less respect than other clients, and the way I saw her communicate with the Doctor, who is her boss, was disgraceful. It should be an embarrassment when there is such a clear lack of respect in a medical establishment, even if it's a small optometry clinic. As a result of the lack of respect and disregard for client's well-being, I was unable to get my prescription glasses before I had to leave for a long trip. I was told my glasses would be ready in time and they were: NO ONE EVER CALLED ME. An email popped into my account at 6pm telling me that they closed at 5pm! I replied to their email inquiring why I had not been notified by phone and if it was possible to pick up the glasses after-hours as this was an emergency. NO ONE EVER REPLIED. Not one single reply to my email. Two weeks later when I finally was back and able to drive to their office in person, I still received NO APOLOGY from the Admin. She refused to look at me, she ignored me completely and it was hands down the most awkward Optometrist visit of my entire life. I really enjoyed Dr. Kaspian but this Admin employee needs to get on board with the program. read more

I had a stye for over a few months and I usually go to kaiser and the doctors at Kaiser kept telling me it'll go down if I just put a warm compress on it. I've seen the doctors at kaiser two times and my stye was still there. Eventually I just looked up an eye doctor near my house and found this place. She was so nice and helpful. She knew since I go to kaiser I would have to pay out of pocket for the prescription she gave me so she showed me this app to get cheaper prescriptions. My insurance changed and my existing optometrist was now out of network. I googled and yelped reviews of optometrists in the area that I found to be in network with my new insurance and found Dr. Kaspian. She had fantastic reviews and was extremely close to home. She met all of my expectations and more! Dr. Kaspian was so kind and helpful, not to mention informative. I needed a change to my prescription and she was extremely helpful and determined to find me frames that I'd love and when I thought for sure there was nothing that was in the style I liked, she showed me a pair that I probably would have skimmed across and I ended up loving them so much. My prescription was finished in a week which was the fastest service I had ever had. She's absolutely wonderful and I'd recommend anyone going to her. read more

At the time I went to get an eye exam, this establishment was the only place giving out a Yelp deal. The place can be a tad bit hard to find as it's in a very small plaza area and it's tucked away in a small corner. What was most impressive to me was the fact that my appointment started on time. I've been having eye exams since pre-school and I've always had to wait 15-30 minutes after my appointed time before they finally get to me. Dr. Kaspian herself is very amiable and engaging. She was able to spot out some major problems in my previous prescription and she did something no other eye doctor did which was to check out my eyeglasses prescription and compare it with my contact prescription (I came in for contacts only). Unlike my previous eye doctor, Dr. Kaspian ordered several brands for me to try out simultaneously which means that I didn't have to try out a brand, come back, and wait for a new brand to try out. For price, know that an eye exam here costs $150 if you have no insurance. read more

I came here because of all of the positive yelp reviews, and I can honestly say I had an incredible experience. When I called, they were able to get me in for an appointment same day. The woman who examined me was very sweet and professional, and after the eye exam helped me find the perfect frames. I warned her about how picky I am when it comes to choosing new glasses, but she kept working with me and we searched until she found me the perfect pair! I got my frames just a week later. I had such a wonderful experience with Dr Kaspian! I had been going to LensCrafters for the past 4 years and decided to look around cause my last experience was mediocre. Last year when I went to LensCrafters I was asking about contacts and the doc there made it seem like my lenses were a problem cause of my prescription. He kept saying to just stick to glasses cause my lenses would be bulky and uncomfortable. I came here and I got contacts same day!!! How awesome is that and FYI they aren't bulky and uncomfortable! I decided to try Prospect Optometry from all of the fantastic reviews on Yelp after my medical insurance company changed and my old Optometrist was not on their list of providers. I called for an appointment which was pleasant enough although my appointment date was not for another week. I arrived for my appointment on time and still had to wait for 20 minutes after I filled out all of the forms to see the Optometrist. The eye exam was OK and went very fast, then she asked what problems I was having with my glasses. We discussed the problems I was having and she wrote up a prescription. I went out to pick out a pair of frames and was both disappointed in the selection of men frames and the prices were horrible even after the so called discount but I needed a new pair of glasses and picked a lesser grade of frame than I usually get for around $60, Prospects' price after discount was $140. We ordered up the glasses, paid the full amount after the insurance which is the most I have ever paid for glasses even without insurance. We were told they would take a couple of weeks and they would call when they came in. A month later and several calls to check they finally came in. Never waited this long for a pair of glasses. I went in to pick them up and had to wait again until they finished with everyone that had an appointment before she would help me. I put the glasses on and tried to read a card and they were not correct. I was told I had to get used to them, take them and wear for a week and they will be fine. I tried to wear for a week but had to really tweak the frames out of whack in order to see anything while I was on a trip up north. On my return I went back and was again met with hostility as I tried to explain what the problem with the glasses were. After 20 to 30 minutes of this hostility the Optometrist came out and tried to convince me the glasses were fine, she finally understood what I was saying and agreed she would look into it, remeasured my eyes and sent them back. A little over a week later I received a call that my glasses were in. I went in and had to wait again while the receptionist made several billing calls before she went back to get my glasses. I put them on and although not perfect at least I was able to see out of them. They never once fitted the frames to my face so I have had to adjust the ear pieces to get them to fit correctly. After adjusting I can read with them now. I will never go back to Prospect Optometry, this place is way overpriced, rude, slow and try to pass off defective glasses unless you stand up to them long enough then they will reluctantly fix the problem. 6 weeks to get a pair of glasses that worked. Over $250 out of pocket after insurance which covered the exam and $100 for the frame and lenses. These are only single blended without any coating or auto darkening. I will defiantly shop around before I pick an Optometrist next time. Prospect Optometry will not be on my shopping list again. read more

Dr. Kaspian is super friendly and helpful! I came here because my only pair of glasses, that I've owned for about 10 years, broke and I only had one set of contacts left. I wasn't sure what to expect especially since I hadn't been to an eye doctor in about 2 or 3 years and I haven't had to pick out a new pair of glasses in 10. Also, since my glasses broke unexpectedly, I was happy that I was able to make a same-day appointment. She was really patient with me when I was deciding whether "1 or 2" was better and never rushed me when I was deciding which pair of glasses to pick. I'm generally really indecisive so I appreciated her tips on how to pick a good pair and she even helped me decide which glasses looked best on me. With her help I was able to not only choose a new pair of glasses, but also a new pair of sunglasses a lot faster than I expected. After ordering them, they arrived in about a week and a half and I also ordered contacts which arrived next day. Once they came in, her assistant helped me to get the glasses to the perfect fit. I've had my glasses for about three weeks now and I'm still really happy with them. P.S.
