Dr. Chou is super friendly and professional. He demonstrated great patience when answering my numerous questions so thoroughly. The office is small, but run quite efficiently. I was particularly impressed when they called me before my appointment to tell me they were running late. I love when anyone does that for an appointment - just a show of respect for my time. From the moment you walk in to the moment you complete your appointment, you are met with smiles and delightful attitudes to assist you in your journey to seeing in HD. Walking in as a first time patient but with how the staff treated me, it felt as though I have been a patient there for so many years. Dr. Chou and his meticulous methods have really set the bar high for me. His attention to detail to every step of the process and regurgitating his methodologies to me shows how transparent and caring he is for his patients. I was in awe with the amount of time he spent with me to discuss the health of my eyes and making sure I get the PERFECT contact lens fit for my astigmatism. We had a tricky insurance situation where we wanted to utilize dual coverage before one vision policy expired and they were able to determine the optimal use of our coverage. I went to Westmont Optometry for the first time due to my insurance changing and I had my eyes checked back in December now we're in March and in between this time, they had changed my lens part because they were too strong, and I was able to read the sign with street names when I was at the stop signs and I'm still having same problems with my glasses. I keep having headaches can't see that well when I decided to pay out-of-pocket and go back to the doctor. I used to go to for the last 20 years had my eyes rechecked and my prescription is incorrect so I went back up to the doctors office trying to tell them that my prescription was incorrect if they could please correct the lens so will be able to see and I got the turnaround saying oh I don't know if it's the same material. I don't know if I maybe we could fix it and by fixing it was too tighten the frame, but I don't understand how that's supposed to make me see better so I asked nicely please can you change the lenses to the prescriptionI have and they told me oh we have to recheck your eyes. I was so upset did not try to attempt to tell me OK let's send the glass back and get new lenses so I was so upset after paying all that money not willing to correct it so I picked up my glasses and walked out as I did not want any drama, but very upset with the customer service did not attempt to stop me or call to say sorry we will correct your glasses read more

I've been waiting for over a month to pick up my glasses. I ordered two pair. The receptionist keeps giving me different information every time I call. I've asked multiple times to speak with the Dr. however she refuses. I'm often placed on hold and hung up on when trying to get updates on the delay. Fantastic experience from beginning to end. I was able to make an appointment online for the same week, there were lots of convenient appointment times available. The Dr saw me right on time, she did everything (I never saw anyone but her) so the appointment was really efficient and I didn't have to repeat things to multiple people. She very clearly told me all of my options and was thorough, knowledgeable and professional. She was so patient with me learning to put my contacts in for the first time. The front desk women were both exceptionally friendly and helpful and no high pressure sales! I hadn't had an eye exam in many years due to cost and a bad experience as a child. Anyhow I found Westmont through my provider and was able to quickly book an appointment. Right around the holidays. Now I read reviews but as a former business owner I take reviews with a grain of salt and make my own mind up. I tend not to review nowadays-as my hands get so numb while typing but must on these folks. 1. No one was rude as people have mentioned I mean no one. They were nothing but helpful and the dr was great. 2 wonderful while small selection of glasses unique and simple to find the right style. 3 my bf visited lens crafters a few weeks ago it took hours of waiting and no eye exam then almost 4 weeks to get the glasses Westmont was completed in minutes no wait and very polite when I had to leave to deposit money and return to finish the transaction. 4 upon my return I noticed there were customers waiting they were rude. I would give it zero star!!! I called on wed. May 12 2021, at 1:28 Talked to Julia. Ask questions about my insurance she said she would call me back by the end of the day. For them that is 6:00 PM. Received a phone call at 4:59 PM. Picked it up on 2nd ring they hung up on me. I tried to call back it rang then said they were closed for the day. Thu they open at 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. My Conclusion is that they do not need any new clients!! They are not interested in Answering any questions. When they tell you they'll call you back they won't. Spend your money where they respect you. read more

Terrible service. I've been calling for 3 weeks trying to obtain my daughters prescription to purchase glasses for her. When I called to see if they'd help me get her another pair since she lost hers they were so rude and cold. Said her insurance won't cover another pair until 2024. Okay fine send me her script so I can just buy her glasses. Asked for my email and they never sent it. Called again said they would send it. Still not sent. I either get a stale "okay we will send it" or they don't answer nor do they call you back. Went to Carson vision, they were so helpful! They called my insurance and were able to get her another pair of glasses! Go to Carson vision!!!! So helpful. They went above and beyond. read more
